He had heard the news of the fight between Fairy Clan of the continent and another Clan of Fairies from the south Islands, the clan wanted to unite all the clans and then take over the world, their leader targeted them, because he knew of the secret Infinite had kept for ten thousand years

He wanted to protect the clan that had cut his wings from his back and exiled him to the dark forest, where he had met Sonic and his brother Demon, and the two that accompanied them, they had long since turned to ashes in the sun, and he had long since gotten revenge on those who had framed him for their crime, but now, the clan was in risk, his leader's brother's love, the fairy he was willing to give his life for

"what needs to be done for the spell?" He asked as he stare at the high witches
"Not much... We've never tried to grant a vampire day walking, we are unsure of how long it will last, you need to be careful if you are to use this" Bernadette spoke solemnly as she held the lapis amulet in her palm

"I'm willing to take that risk" The jackal stated as he locked eyes with hers, she nodded as she closed her eyes and whispered a spell into the dark blue stone, before a flash stung their eyes
"This should be all you need, it'll allow you to walk in the sun, but be careful" She said as she handed him the amulet

"I will be and thank you" was all he said before he place the chain around his neck and walked away, blades in his hands and a fire in his eyes, as shining wings sprung from his back, glittering a golden sheen as he stepped into the sun, and then he was gone, gliding in the skies as he headed to the battle between two clans

The battle was gruesome and Cream could not hold the leader of this other clan back any longer, her vines were just not enough to shield them  from the offending clan
"Where is your leader?" The hedgehog in golden armour asked as he stood in front of her, swords of magic hovering around him as he stood before the small rabbit
"I am the leader of the Fairy Clan" Cream spoke with a ferocity that made the other tilt their head

"You are no leader, you are merely a child playing dress up, your magic is weak and frail, A leader's is as strong as their clans, but I wonder where your True leader is" The armoured hedgehog laughed as h angled the blades to finish Cream off, but to his surprise when he went to strike, they were all reflected and shattered into golden dust
all went still as the glowing red cubes that shielded Cream and destroyed the magic blades held strong, The magic had been unseen for ten thousand years, the strongest magic that had been recorded in the fairy halls, but the owner of this magic had their wings cut and exiled, and was reported to have died a few months later and their magic passed on, but no, this magic was filled with rippling power

and then a clang as solders were tossed to the ground by the jackal, his wings shining bright as blood ran down from his mouth, yet he did not burn in the light rays

"And who might you be?" They asked as they locked eyes with the unknown fairy

"I am Excalibur, Leader of the South Island fairy clan, and you are a tough fairy to find" Excalibur smirked lowly as he turned from Cream and faced Infinite head on

"Whoever said I was  fairy? This is merely a trick I learned" Infinite spoke as his weapons dripped with crimson "i am loyal to the Vampire leader Maurice Amri, a witch hunter from the times of Iblis, who now goes by demon I am merely here to make sure his brother's love if out of harms way" 

"Is that so?" Excalibur rose a brow "This magic  protecting the girl is that of Zero Janaki, leader of the Fairy clan, who was said to have died ten thousand years ago after being exiled, and why bother attacking my men when all we want is to be united by one governing body, much like the vampires and besides how are you in the sun if your a vampire?"

"That is for me to know and for you to leave this land and never return, we wouldn't want your life to end here would we?" Infinite smirked, a dangerous glint in his eyes that deep down frightened Excalibur

"I'm not leaving until I get what I want" Excalibur growled as he shot up into the sky and dropped to attack Infinite, but much like before the red cubes shielded the jackal and pushed Excalibur back a few meter, and Infinite stood with his eyes closed and weapons drawn

"I'm the tallest of mountains, I am the roughest of waves, I'm the toughest of terrors, I am the darkest of days, I'm the last one that's standing, Don't try to stand in my way, Cause I've been up against better, Just take a look at my face" His voice echoed through the yells as the surroundings changed and all that were there were Excalibur and his army, but the terror on their faces as the jackal sung was evident enough they had made a mistake

"Someone Stop him!" Excalibur ordered as his flew into the sky

"Cause if you're messing with me, I am a dangerous weapon, I am the sharpest of blades; I'll cut you down in a second, Cause I was born in this pain, It only hurts if you let it, So if you think you can take me, Then you should go and forget it" Infinite continued as began to dodge attacks as he swung his blades, slicing off heads of few fairies and injuring others, while chains appeared and dragged them to the ground as he flew up into the air, not even Excalibur's attacks did anything to stop Infinite from continuing Again the surroundings changed and it was the fairy clan ten thousand years ago, where copies of his people were down below, cutting off his own copies wings and tossing him to the ground

"And after all this time, you're back for more (I won't stop until they know my name) So I'll take what's mine and start this war (I'm coming at you like a tidal wave, tidal wave, tidal wave)" and he only continued to sing as more glowing red cubes appeared, surrounding Excalibur and his army

"When everything you know has come and gone, (You are at your lowest, I am rising higher) Only scars remain of who I was (What I find in the ashes, you lose in the fire!) When there's no one left to carry on, (This is an illusion, open up your eyes and...) This pain (persists), I can't (resist), But that's what it takes to be Infinite" Excalibur growled as he charged at the jackal who had continued to sing, but as infinite opened his eyes they glowed bright blur and yellow as a strong force pushed Excalibur back again and again, he grit his teeth in annoyance

"Yeah, so look around you' And tell me what you really see never end, And that's the difference in you and me' Cause when your time is up' And everything is falling down,It's only me and you - who is gonna save you now?" And suddenly only a few of Excalibur's men remained as the illusion faded away and he was left injured as Infinite held a blade to his throat with a dangerous look in his eyes as the cubes hovered around them

"who is gonna save you now?" was all Excalibur heard before he was knocked unconscious and fell to the ground leaving Infinite in the sky, as he looked over the carnage, but suddenly it all faded without a trace and the magic in the amulet around his neck began to fade as he fled back into the forest, leaving the fairies below in stunned silence as it dawned on them, their true leader had fought for them, and protected them, with his shimmering wings and powerful magic
