I walk around the abyss of darkness, I was looking for someone, he had been distant and agitated lately, though I can't blame him, Sonic has been on edge lately, close to breaking point

I see a golden glow up ahead, it's either Super or Fleetway, or even both, I shrugged and zoomed over to the glow, I guess I was right, it was Super and Fleetway

" Hi Super!! Hi Fleetway!!" I smiled brightly as I waved at them excitedly

" Hello Hyper " Super chuckled as he turned to me, Fleetway rolled his eyes and waved slightly

" have you seen Dark?" I asked as I smiled

" not since a few days ago " Super stated, I pouted and nodded

" ok! Bye!!" I said excitedly as I waved before running of in a random direction

I just kept going, until I crashed into Demon, making both of us topple over

" watch it " he growled at me, I flinched and lowered my ears, he scares me, a lot

" I-I'm sorry, I-i was just looking f-for Dark..." I said quietly

" I saw him head that way a few hours ago " Demon growled out in annoyance, I nodded then took off, not wanting to get him more mad

I ran in the direction he pointed, I don't know how long I went this way, but I reached the border, the black faded to grey at this point

I had gone with Super to the darkness, because I was bored, we're from the light side of Sonic's soul, when the two mix it created the grey, where some of the forms are good and bad

I probably should've come here sooner, I stepped into the grey and felt a sensation go through me, it always happens when one of us cross the borders, Sonic doesn't feel it though, which is both good and bad, some of his forms are that bad he keeps them locked away afraid of what they would do...but if they break out and target us...he wouldn't know until to late

I go back to looking for Dark, but I see Dark Spine, so i go up to him

" what do you want Hyper?" he sighed as he looked at me

" do you know where Dark is?" i asked him

" not here, right now he's beating the crap out of Metal Sonic, you'll have to wait " Dark Spine said, i whined when i heard that, but sighed, knowing no matter how much i whined he wouldn't get here any time soon

so i waited patiently for Dark to come back, i didn't even move from the spot i was sitting, where i had spoken to Dark Spine, though he had left awhile ago, so i sat here thinking of how i'm going to tell him 

i blushed at the thought, i was scared, because he didn't exactly like me...then again no one really did...the only person i really ever talked to was Super, not that we talk much any more, because he has a boyfriend now...

i sighed to myself, maybe i shouldn't tell him...

{Dark's Pov}

After i got back from beating Metal all i wanted to do was cool down and relax, but Dark Spine came out of no where

"Hyper has been looking for you the last few hours " he muttered to me and i groaned

" all he does is annoy everyone " i huffed

" not always, i heard from Super and Fleetway, he's been looking for you, for days, even ask Demon, ExE and were, he might be in the white zone, but when i last saw him, he was just waiting and thinking, was north east " Dark Spine stated, i just rolled my eyes and sighed

" he just probably wants to ask a stupid question like always " i growled softly

" i doubt it, he normally gives up if he can't find you within an hour and you know it " Dark Spine sighed, i just growled quietly in frustration

" fine! I'll go see what he wants!" i growled and stormed off in the direction Dark Spine had said

i didn't want to do it, but at the same time i did...i sighed to myself as i continued walking, until i saw Hyper sitting with his face in his hands, he looked as if he was thinking or...crying?...

" what is it you want now?" i asked already annoyed, he jumped and gasped the looked at me

"I-I..." he stuttered as he stood up

" you what?" I stated as i looked at him

" i-it doesn't matter...I'll just g-go..." he said as he lowered his ears slightly, as he took a few steps back

" yeah whatever, all you do is waist peoples time and annoy them " I muttered, not intending for him to hear, but his ears pressed against his head as he looked down, for some reason my chest hurt seeing him like this

he then just walked away not saying anything, i just watched him, then rolled my eyes, knowing he would be annoying me again soon, may as well enjoy the peace and quiet while i can

(a few days later)

it seemed nothing had happened...at all, i still felt angry...and i didn't know why, normally i was calm again by now, but no 

i hadn't seen Hyper for awhile either, it felt strange...

but suddenly i was punched in the face, making me stagger back slightly, i felt blood dripping, i looked up growling, i thought it would have been EXE or Demon or even Fleetway, but i was shocked to see Super there, fists clenched and a glare that made me shiver

" what the Hell! did you do?!" he snapped at me making me blink

"What?" i was lost

" what did you say to Hyper?!"he growled, i was just confused and lost

" why does that matter?!" i growled

" because he hasn't done anything but sit and do nothing, he hasn't said a word in days!" Super snapped, i just took a step back, from what he had said

"How is this my fault?" i growled back

" because he was going to tell you something he's only told me!!" he snapped, i just stared at him

" everyone knows he can't keep his mouth shut" i scoffed, Super just glared at me

" you know what, i don't understand how or why your so mean to him!" Super growled in frustration, i just rolled my eyes and began to walk away

" he knows everyone finds him annoying, a pain and it's why he was terrified to tell you!" Super snapped at me, i just stopped in my tracks and glanced at him

" what did he want to tell me?" i asked

" ask him yourself, because you need to fix this " with that Super was gone, Sonic must have all the chaos emeralds again... 

i sigh to myself then i go off to find him, i was walking to the white, knowing that was where he was, i just kept walking, until i reached the border, i stepped over the border ignoring the sensation

i then walked until i found him, but what i saw shattered something deep in my chest, he sat there curled up, i could hear him sobbing his heart out, had i really hurt him that much?...

".....Hyper?" i frowned when he looked at me, eyes bloodshot, as a river of tears flowed down his cheeks

he just stared at me, but then looked away...

"I..I'm sorry, I didn't mean it...I was in a bad mood..." I sighed as i went and sat down next to him

" But that doesn't excuse what i had said and I am sorry..." I frowned as i looked at him, he wasn't looking at the abyss in front of us

" Super told you to do this...didn't he " Hyper sniffled

" he told me to fix my mistake and nothing else, I mean't every word...just now, not a few days ago...you know what I mean " I sighed, i heard him laugh, it...was adorable

"I know I annoy everyone and that they don't really like me..." Hyper mumbled when he stopped laughing, I frowned

" i actually enjoy your company " I said, I saw him blush

" R-really?" he asked nervously

" i wouldn't have come to find you if i didn't " I chuckled softly, he smiled at me, and my heart beat faster

we just sat in silence for awhile, but it was nice

" Dark?" Hyper asked

" yes?" i looked at him, a rosy red tint covering his cheeks

"I-I wanted to t-tell you t-that I-I..." he paused as if he were afraid

" you can tell me if you want, I'm not rushing you " I sighed with a small smile, but it seemed to just make him go a shade darker

" I-I....love you..." he covered his face, but i felt heat flush through my face, my heart beating faster and faster, now I understand what I feel towards him

I pulled his hands away from his face gently, I just leaned in closer, letting instinct take over 

{Super's Pov}

I watched with Fleetway as Dark and Hyper kissed, I smiled and Fleetway just chuckled

"you were right, this is satisfying, but you know what would be better?" Fleetway said, I look at him to see a grin on his muzzel and i blushed knowing what he was planning 

"no" was all i said, blush covering my face, he just whined, i looked back to Hyper and Dark and smiled again

" their perfect for each other " I smiled

" and we'er perfect for each other " Fleetway smirked, i rolled my eyes

Darkness always has a light and Light always has darkness
