I looked up at the sky. It was a spring clear day. Today's valentines day. A small breeze rustles through my hair. I don't know why but every year on this exact day I come back to this exact place. An open field with nothing but small trash.

This time I don't even remember coming here. Well, since I'm here I could go through all my valentines. I place down my backpack and unzip it. I pull out the card and candy I got from mother today. Apparently she has been doing this since I...Our conflict.

I place the card and candy on the ground. The sudden breeze stops. I look up at the scenery. Strange. It usually never stops. I look back down at the card. I decide to open it and ready it out loud.

"Your always by my side so I wish you a happy Valentine signed....Mom." there was also a ten dollar bill inside the card. I carefully slip it oh and put it in my pocket. Mom's are awesome, even if they're crazy.

The wind picks up again. It shifts directions every so often. I bring my backpack closer to me. I start rummaging through each pocket till I found Vainess's card she gave me. It was a picture of a cat with the words 'You are you purr-fect.'

The wind stopped again. I looked up again. This is really strange. I look back down at the paper. "Signed Vainess..." I say to myself. The wind picks up again. This time, it blows hard on my face. I look up from my card and see a gift basket. 

I look around myself. There's no one around. I get up and walk towards the basket. It was a pale wooden basket with a delicate red bow tied up in a heart. The contents inside were a stuffed bear, chocolate, some heart shaped suckers, and a packet of hot chocolate. 

There was a note in front of the basket as well. I pick it up and examine it. It was all pink with a red heart on the front. I open the card up. "Hope you love the gift like I love you." I read out loud. Next to those words were some heart shaped hair holders.

They were the color of dusk. Blue, red, yellow, black. I stare at them. Something about them seems familiar. I sit down next to the basket and take off my pink hair pins. I put on the new ones and pull out my phone to look at myself. 

I look good. While moving my phone around to see myself in the reflection, I see a someone. I turn around and they're gone. I blink. The wind slows down to a gently breeze like before things got weird. 

I blink again. I think it's time to leave. I get my things, and the basket, and spread out my wings. I start flapping upward, keeping my back bent, till I'm far enough to soar. As I leave the place I swear I hear someone whisper,"Goodbye.."

Enderycat and Artemis

"Stooop thatttt!" Endery whined as a bigger boy took her little minecraft pushie. He laughed and threw it to a equally large boy, who threw it back as Endery rushed over to get it. This continued for some time till someone yelled at them. Frightened, the boys dropped the stuffed toy and ran. 

Endery rushed over and picked it up off the dusty ground of the playground.  She turned around and was greeted by a strange boy. He wore a cap, his sleeves were different colors to his shirt, and red leggings. 

Endery smiled."Thank you mister!" she said. The boy smiled."Don't mention it cutey." Endery blushed at the sudden word."Huh?" she said, brushing her pink bang from her left eye. The boy smiled."I said you were a cutey, cutey." the boy repeated.

Endery suddenly felt awkward. She has never been told she was a cutey. "My name is Artemis, what's yours?" Artemis asked."Umm..." Endery hugged her stuff toy close to her chest."I'm Endery." "Well Endery, follow me! I have something to show you!" and with that, Artemis grabbed Endery's hand and rushed to the end of the playground.

Endery blushed as her hand met his.  What is this feeling she is experiencing? When Artemis let go of her hand, her heart stopped pounding so hard. He looked at the wall of the school hard.  Endery wondered if he was going to poop himself due to the amount of concentration he was putting into the wall.

Suddenly, a black void appeared Endery jumped at the sudden surprise of the vortex's appearance. Artemis grabbed Endery's hand and rushed into the black void. Endery didn't resist one bit as she was dragged through the portal and into another dimension.

They were on top of a cliff. The starry night waiting above their heads. Endery looked around in amazement. This was beautiful. "Wow..." she said, not caring where they were. Artemis chuckled. "A pretty place for a pretty girl." he said.

Endery looked at him. Artemis looked at her. Endery'seyes slowly trailed to her hand. He was still holding it. When Endery looked back up at him, he dashed close to her. He stole her lips from her with a kiss. In utter shock, Endery pushed Artemis away.

Artemis looked at her in shock."What is it?" he asked. Endery stared at him."Don't you think we're moving too fast?" she asked, scared of this new longing for Artemis. Artemis stared at her. He then sighed and looked the other way, letting go of her head as he did so.

"I guess your right. I just thought you were really pretty when you smiled at me. I had everything planned out in my head when our eyes met.....I should just slow down..."  he said. Endery stared at Artemis.

Although he was rushing his feelings towards her she felt the urge to do something. "Artemis?" she said. Artemis looked up at her. She closed the gap between them with a kiss.

When she backed away she was met with a confused boy. She giggled and held Artemis's hand."Maybe for just this one day. You can take it fast..." she said. Artemis smiled at her. He raced in and gave her a giant hug. "I love you Endery..."

Okay I know this is written badly, but they're like 4 years old in this. I'm just trying to do it like a second grader would
