The following is a idea scrapped from the book called I'll Be Good

Tord walked back to Edds apartment with Matt and Edd by his side. He smiled all the way to Edds apartment. When they were about to open the apartment door, Toms apartment door opened.

Tord looked at him. He seemed....Different. He looked like he was in pain. Tom walked over to Tord. The smell of alcohol in his breath was strong. Tord knew this meant that he was very drunk.

"Uh, Tom. What are you doing?" Edd asked. Tom smiled wearily at him."Don't worry about it Edd! I just need to talk with my best buddy Tord!" he said happily. Edd frowned. He looked at Tord.

Tord smiled."I'll be fine." he reassured his friend. Edd smiled back. "Come on Matt. Let's go play with Ringo or watch Professor Why." He said. Matt smiled."Okay! " he said, walking into Edds apartment.

Tord turned his attention to the drunken Tom. His facial expression hardened from a cheerful smile to a serious frown."What do you want Tom?" he asked seriously. "Follow me." Tom asked, walking back to his apartment.

Tord walked behind him. When he got inside the apartment, Tom slammed the door shut behind them. He then grabbed his hair and balled up on the floor. Tord rolled his eye. What was his problem? He glanced around the apartment and saw that it was trashed.

Most of Toms blue hoodies were on the ground, lots of medicine was on the kitchen counter, and bottles of Smirnoff were laying on the floor and flooding the kitchen table.

"Wow, this place is a mess. Just like you." Tord said, turning back to look at Tom. Instead of seeing a angered Tom, he saw Tom crying. Tord eye widened. Although he doesn't like Tom, he wondered what was bothering him.

"Your the only one I can tell this to...I don't wanna worry Edd..." Tom sniffles. He looked back up at Tord. Tears brimming in his eyes. "Tord, I have cancer." He finally said. Tord's mouth dropped. Cancer? How did he get cancer?

That's all the idea got to. You see why I didn't want to add this in?  I find it disrespectful to the fact that Edd died of cancer.
