Ah the memories,thinking back on the adventures I had and yet I still never found it, I had a mission, my mission... To find something that would last forever. I know, It hard to imagine something to last forever but living through every historical triumph....They were acknowledged and recognised...Even had books written about them that's when I thought, 'this is it....this is the thing that will last forever' but looking at the people of today... My thought slowly fades away as barely anyone was interested in it. Nothing lasts, even with the gift it still got me nowhere, Now I know what you're thinking, How did I get a mission like this? Well let me take you back to where it all began.

I was young, you might say I was just a Pup when my first encounter of nothing lasting occurred, my parents had past leaving me with my brothers and sisters to help through the pain and sorrow. My second encounter was when my siblings were taken away from me leaving me alone, That day I lost everything, my family were gone.....and my happiness. But I knew happiness and love would come my way again, well I hoped. I still wonder to this day whether my family is out there somewhere or whether I out lived them all.

Anyway, years later I was found by a lady who took me in and treated me with kindness, I never knew her name and to be honest I never wanted to, she brought happiness and love back into my life, I know it's cheesy but it's true, She was an inventor and created incredible things that were well over their time, she had made me a device to be able to communicate with others not just my own kind, she would also give me other inventions to help me including....the gift, But Life Never lasts as I had learnt that the hard way from my first encounter, The lady passed away from an illness the doctors said was incurable. I was Alone once again and decided to go on my adventure to find what truly lasts forever. As years turned to decades and decades turned to centuries I still hadn't found what truly lasted, but I was determined and my hope stayed strong.

During my journey I met some of the greatest and well known people, from Einstein to Elvis Presley to Obama, even Lassy and might I say she is a fine canine if I ever saw one?......Uh Sorry for a little side tracked, Where were we? Oh yeah I met the greatest people....But sadly even they all have an end, getting me further and further away from finding it, eventually I lost hope and layed down in this very spot and watched the world as time went by, and slowly my gift soon faded.

Well I guess this is it, I spent my life on an adventure, living through everything, meeting people and making knew friends, That includes you too Reader, You took the time to listen, read and understand me when no one else would and for that I am thankful, we may not see each other again in this life but perhaps we will in the next. I hope you enjoy your life and have moments that make your tail wag as I did in mine, who knows you might even find out What Lasts forever. Hehe
