Digital Prints
I spend the day looking at screens. Looking through bars of digital codes and files on my hard drives. Some people say doing my job is not only boring but recklessly illegal. The name's Henry and I am one of the best hackers known to the United States. If it was only me they wouldn't have a clue who I was, but one of my students got caught leaking money from a Wells Fargo and was arrested. In return for giving names David got three years off the original thirty year sentence.
Hacking became my passion when I was thirteen and downloading famous apps and handheld games for greater profit. The thrill of getting away with petty cash for only getting games I decided to expand my knowledge of computer codes and databases. College helps quite a bit with getting hands on experience with computer programming and coding studies. Throughout college I was doing various programs and advents, making for a lot of experience. That is before the university kicked me out for illegal use of campus grounds.
Years later and the FBI still hasn't been able to catch me or follow me on my dark web activity. During the day I would become a janitor or custodian for a restaurant or hotel, then transform into the hacker by night. It was a fantastic way to end my day and I'd make more money hacking than cleaning toilets. Until even hacking at night wasn't enough to cut my greedy needs and wants.
I posted an ad on the dark web for anyone who would have the capabilities to become a successful hacker to contact me. I quit being a janitor and became a teacher. Usually carefree and immature teenagers to the middle aged adults looking for thrills in their lives. I would be paid up front and would take twelve classes, then get paid for another set. Teaching, believe it or not, is actually more lucrative than hacking. Swimming up to my neck in money I found hacking more of a pleasure than a desire.
During my late thirties I was sitting at home doing a bit of browsing on the dark web and my front door busts open. The FBI had found me and somehow traced me back here. I got the bracelets on and went for fraud and embezzlement charges for a grand total of twenty years in prison. This is my memoir for those who have this cell after I'm done with my prison sentence. Don't get caught and never get wrapped into the situation further by adding more people to the hodgepodge of your scheme. Satisfied with my note I put it under the lip of the sink and walked out, free again.
