Those were the two words carved into the trees creases.

The wind whispers through my ears.
I hear my loved ones cheers.

I was lost, I didn't understand, what did I do wrong?
I know what I did wrong, I said "I Promise" for too long.

But now, under this tree, I feel my heart mending its leaves.
I heard a voice fade as it grieves.

I didn't know what you promised, that long summers eve.
All I know, was that I foolishly agreed.
