It was the best night of the year hand down. No doubt. Running down roads with my friends. Getting so much CANDY! Even if my sister is a party pooper. Always looking at her Phone sly smiling at Pipper who totally isn't her girlfriend. Why can't they just say in the car and leave us be? I looked over at Max and Danny. Max was my best friend and was dress as Bee Girl and Danny was dress as The Grim Reaper. We nodded being in sync with each other.

We ran. Until we reach the path of the dead. That my Dad never tells me not to go near at night because it was too dark and scary. But I didn't believe that. After all, I was BATMAN! So as the 3 musketeers we ran to prove our bravery. While Piper and Lucy were laughing at their phone screens. When we're safely out of sight we heard Lucy shout 'Where the HELL did those 3 go!?!'

'Calm down Lucy we find them. Come on?'We ran faster than ever before when we heard them behind.

I was wrong. Dad was right. This place was Scary. But I can't show that I was afraid so I held my head up high. As I tried not to jump when Max steps on a twig. 'Sorry.' Max apologised.  At one point I nearly jump up so high I could touch the Moon. We already saw 6 or 10 ghosts so far. This was really scary. It, not just my imagination. I swear. So the clown in the trees made me quick pace out of there. I heard footstep all around them. And shouts of 'There they are' and with that I was running. quickly joined by Max and Danny who was also scared. Then a big clown with a white face and red and black makeup. He looked like the clown on the DVD Lucy has that I'm not allowed to watch. He was scary. I scream so loud backing away.

The clown was joined by a Zombie who was nearly 8 foot, a Werewolf who was swagging in a way Piper did when Lucy brought he back telling me not to tell Dad, a demon who was giggly with the werewolf and a Vampire who had a really long red cape. They all looks so scary. I didn't like it. Now I was hoping it was my imagination. But I don't think it is as Danny had already ran away and Max was standing between me and them. She was the real superhero. I fall back into the mud. I cover myself with my mud cover cape as they started to flip Max big hair around saying things like 'brave little girl'. Please be my imagination.Next thing I knew I heard the clown shouting. 'That my nose! Freak!''Don't pick on people half your age! YOU COWARD!'

I open my eyes to see Max jumping into Piper arms and the clown holding his bleeding nose. Lucy was standing in front of all of us. Fist balled up.

'Run, Monster Mash. Or do you want more blood in the spirit of Halloween'They all starting running away. Lucy can scare off 4 monsters of the night and break a clown nose. THAT AWESOME! Danny was holding Piper's hand. Hiding slightly behind her leg with wide eyes. My sister helps me up as I saw a tint of purple of her fist.'sorry I got you hurt' I said, ashamed looking down at the floor. Lucy kneeled down and bushed off my cape. 'No problem Batman.'

'Let get you 3 home. Grim reaper over here shaking more than an autumn left.'

Lucy dropped a hand onto my shoulder as I leaned into her for safety.

'You own me candy little guy'
'No way' We all shouted. We earned that Candy ourselves with our amazing costume and doing all the legwork. And I didn't like walking.

The ghost didn't appear again, probably because they knew Lucy would win a fight against them.'I'm sorry we ran off.' Danny told Lucy and Piper. They smiled at each other gently.'Will you tell Dad?' I looked up at Lucy. Suddenly worried about all the trouble I'll get into. Probably grounded for 3 months or so.'As long as you don't tell Dad I punch a clown.' Lucy smiled down at me as I smiled back.

Okay, my sister pretty cool I guess.
