Tiana

I was resting my head on Sheila's shoulder. Arm laying over her torso. Counting stars in the back of her Dad's pick up truck. I still can't believe that I was lucky enough to meet this amazing girl. Who would've thought moving to the countryside would've gone so well.

I hated it originally. Moving away from La, to Kansas. All because of my Dad divorce and Mum got everything expects me of course. But I remember meeting Sheila so well and laughing so hard at her inspector call quoting. I think that was the moment I fall in love. When she proved to be more than just a pretty face and a skateboard.

Flashback

My Dad was driving me to school as it was my first day. In our stupid beat up car that barely ran. Stupid mum for getting the car. Stupid mum for getting all the money. I hated her.
F - 'ready T?'
T - 'yeah Dad. See you on the other side.'
In the divorce, I was the only thing Dad fought for as all mum wanted was the damn house. I hug him not wanting to go to school in the middle of fricking nowhere. I was barely 3 step into the side walk infront of school when. CRASH! I was on the floor with hazel hair falling into my eyes. A pressure was on top of me. I looked up to see a nervous looking girl smiling down at me.
S - 'hey?'
T - 'hi.'
I could feel people start to stare. I hated people looking at me or even knowing I existed.
S - 'dang it. My board.'
Really? She was focusing on her goddamn board then the girl she squeezing and embarrassing.
T - 'could you let me go?'
S - 'oh yeah sorry.'
She quickly scrabbles to her feet. Grading my hard and dragging her up to her feet. She pulled too hard so I need up falling back on top of her. But this time she caught me.
S - 'sorry I do that sometimes.'
I look up to see the girl who had just knock me over. To see pure beauty. Green eyes with specks of blue and gold, dark lips, thick eye leases that frame her eyes perfectly and a bronze stud in her cupid bow.
T&S - 'wow.'
I didn't mean to say that aloud. I take a panic step back. Looking at my feet on that suddenly became very interesting.
S - 'Sheila'
She was holding out her hand and giving me a gentle smile. That when I realise. She said wow too. She thinks I'm pretty.
T - 'Tiana.'
I gave her my hand and she kissed it. Swoon.
S - 'listen for knocking you down let me show you around.'
I nodded and followed her to get my timetable.

We didn't get together until I found her tripping over in an old vintage store widow trying to dress a mankind. I laugh so hard and for some reason, she gave me her number.

We didn't kiss until our first date when I risked it next to a lack. I swear fireworks went off for us and not just because it was independent day. We also fall into the lack. But that doesn't matter I only laughed.

End of flashback

The night was so beautiful and clear. It was the sort of thing you saw in movies. Old music playing gently in the background. I could fall asleep.

S - 'what you thinking about there beautiful?'
She looked at me those beautiful eyes and I knew I was hopeless.
T - 'just how we first met.'
I smiled so in love.
S - 'it was pretty special.'
I kissed her cheek and settled down ready to fall asleep.
