I felt the blood drain from my face,
"Grown up? Nonononono. I can't have grown up already! I still watch Miraculous ladybug and Chat Noir, I-I still sleep with a Teddy bear, well, stuffed dog plush, I love ice cream, I'm still as socially awkward as I was when I was six! I turned to him, my eyes beseeching as I grabbed his hands,

His own eyes took on a slight sheen as he softly shook his head and took a step back.
