Jungkook looks at Jin with a scoff and crosses his arms. "I look ridiculous." He grumbles with a pout. Jin tuts and walks over to him.
"You're just saying that because you haven't seen yourself yet." He grabs him by the shoulders and turns him around. A mirror greeted the two and Jin grins happily at the reflection.
"See? You look handsome!" He compliments. Jungkook stares at his body in astonishment. He doesn't want to seem like a narcissistic but, wow.
He did look handsome. With the midnight black suit fitting him perfectly as well as the matching pants, he looked like an idol in a music awards. He tilted his head up slightly and squinted his eyes a bit admiring the look.
The last button on his white shirt was left open giving a small view of his collarbone. He wouldn't be surprised if he went out in public as this and girls fell for him on the spot.
"Hm, I guess you're right." Jungkook mumbles in thought. Jin smirks and pats his shoulders. "Of course I am, Kook. Who do you take me as?" He leaves Jungkook by the mirror to continue admiring his reflection and grabs a black tie.
"Now, all it needs is a finishing touch."
He was about to wrap it around Jungkook's neck but he retracted away quickly with a startled look. "Why do I need that?" Jungkook asks.
Jin shrugs, "It'll make your outfit more dazzling." He reasons. Jungkook thinks for a moment before shaking his head. "I think it'll be good." He turns back to the mirror while straightening his jacket.
"I don't want to worsen my image."
Jin rolls his eyes, "Image my ass." He grumbles and tosses the tie onto the burgundy chair. He sighs and crosses his arms. "Fine. We'll just go with this."
He pushes Jungkook back into the changing room before he could even react. "Now, take it off so we can go and pay." Jin says. Low grumbles were made inside the room but Jin ignores them.
He walks to his jacket that hung on the chair and takes out his phone. He quickly looks back at the door before dialing a number. It picks up and he starts to speak. "Jisun, it's me." He whispers softly.
"Yeah, I know. Your name popped up when you called." You say with a sigh. "Why are you whispering anyway?"
"Because I'm with, Jungkook." He answers as he takes a quick glance at the door. "Oh? And how is he?" You ask.
Jin sighs, "He's a little too grumpy to my liking but I'm dealing with it as any other parent would." You breathed out a chuckle and shake your head.
Jin always had that mindset that he had to take care of each one you like a mother. After all, he was the oldest besides Namjoon.
"How's the planning going? Nothing too difficult, right?" He questions.
"No, it's fine and all. I've got helpers, you know." You tell him referring to the rest of your friends. Jin nods and forms a small frown.
"Jungkook over here keeps asking what the suit is for. I'm running out of ideas." He tells you. You think for a moment and an idea pops in your head.
"Have you told him that it was just for fun?" You ask. "I did but I don't think he's buying it." Jin says.
You let out a tired sigh as you try to think of ways to steer Jungkook away from being suspicious. You made Jin take him out for a suit for tomorrow night but never really thought about Jungkook being suspicious.
"Well, you can tell him that it's for a party tomorrow night." You finally tell Jin.
"But that's what we're actually having for him! It won't be a surprise!" He exclaims on the other line.
"It's still a surprise because he doesn't know what kind it is." You point out. Jin wanted to say more but he heard the door open and someone stepping out.
"Hey, Jin are we actually going to get this?" Jungkook asks as he stares at the clothes on the hanger.
Jin quietly curses, "I got to go."
"Oh, tell him to invite that girl too!" You quickly say before he hung up. He lets out a relieved sigh as he pulls his phone away from his ear.
"Who was that?"
Jin yelps at the voice and quickly turns around to see Jungkook standing in front of him. He stares at Jin in curiosity with his lips forming into a small pout.
"God, don't scare me like that, Jungkook! You almost gave me a heart attack!" He shouts while he places a hand over his beating heart. Jungkook laughs sheepishly as he rubs a hand in the back of his neck.
"Sorry."
Jin stares at him for a moment before letting out a sharp breath. "Kids these days." He grumbles. Do they even have manners in this time of age?
"Anyway," Jungkook starts. "Are you going to tell me who you were talking to?" Jin shakes his head. "Nope." He says while popping the 'p'.
He takes the suit out of Jungkook's hand and begins to walk to to the register. "And yes, we're really getting this." Jungkook rolls his eyes as he shoves his hands into his pockets.
"I still don't understand why though." He mutters. Jin glances at him before shrugging. "There's a party tomorrow night and it's a formal one." He answered simply.
Jungkook frowns, "And by the looks of things I don't get a say in this, do I?"
Jin smirks, "No, you don't."
Jungkook groans lightly, he wonders why his friends think they have power over him. He's not some young kid that they can tell him what to do.
"Oh, and you should invite that girl of yours over tomorrow night. I think she'll enjoy it." Jin casually says.
Jungkook shakes his head, "Not like I have any other choice."

"I know I said you'll be in charge of inviting guests," You started to say. "But who the hell are all these people??"
You stare at the huge crowd on the rooftop. Strangers danced to the music or hovered around the food table. They talked and danced as if this party was for them. None of them seemed to recognize you and you to them.
You turn to Yoongi who casually sipped his drink. "Mind explaining?" You say with crosses arms.
He shrugs, "Explain what? You said to find people and I did." He states. You pinched the bridge of your nose and shake your head in disappointment.
"But I didn't mean strangers. I meant people like Jungkook's track friends or people he knew in high school. Not some weirdos you picked up on the side of the street." You groaned.
You began to regret asking Yoongi for help. You knew full well he could be lazy at times.
"I thought this would've happened, that's why I invited all of them."
You turned to your left and saw Namjoon walking to you two with Jin around his arm. Both dressed formally, Jin in a light pink suit and Namjoon in a white one.
"Well, don't you guys look like a match." Yoongi says as he eyes the couple. Namjoon shrugs, "It was Jin's idea to dress like this."
You waved off their conversation. "You said you invited them here?" You ask Namjoon. He looks back at you with a nod. "Yeah, they're somewhere in the crowd and some are on their way."
You let out a sigh of relief, it seems luck is on your side. You give Yoongi a side glare, "Thanks for nothing."
"Hey, I did what you asked. It's your fault that you didn't make it specific." He shoots back before gulping down the rest of his drink. You roll your eyes and turn back to the couple.
"So, when is Jungkook coming?" You ask Jin.
"He said he'll be here in a little bit." He answers. You nod and stare back at the party in front of you.
You've spent all day yesterday decorating the place. You placed hanging lights above you from pole to pole. You hung stars on their strings hoping it would bring out a nice starry night effect.
A white cream light emitted from them making it seem like the stars shined their light down on the party. You really did try your best with the decorations and hoped Jungkook would like it.
"Jisun?"
You turn around facing Hoseok and a young man at his side. "Look who I found." Hoseok grins happily. You stared at the man in front of you in surprise.
"Sangjun? Is that you?" You breathed.
The brunette grins and embraces you tightly. You hold him tightly, surprised to see him here. When you pulled away you looked up at the tall, young man.
"My God, look at you. You grew up." You smile. He chuckles sheepishly and averts his gaze.
You've known Sangjun since Jungkook began high school. He was the captain of the track team and was probably the first friend Jungkook made in his freshman year.
Now seeing him as a young man has you taken aback. His eyes scan you up and down before he lets out a low whistle.
"Damn, look at you. Hotter than the last time I saw you." He teases.
You laugh until you saw a hand appear behind his head and slap him. He hisses in pain and quickly whirls around to see the culprit.
"Careful, Sangjun, that's my sister you're talking about." Jimin warns playfully with an arm around a woman.
He wore a deep grey suit with a black button-up shirt inside. His grey hair was combed back showing off his forehead. The woman next to him wore long midnight, black dress with her hair curled and down passed her shoulders.
You smirk lightly, "Who's your friend?" Jimin side glances the woman and smirks. "Oh, this is Katie. Katie this is my younger sister, Jisun."
You smile at her and she smiles back. The guys don't say anything as their eyes rove down the young woman.
Jimin sighs, "Well, we'll be around if you need us." He steers Katie away before looking back with a wink. Once he was out of sight Yoongi snickers.
"He's so going to get laid."
You shove him playfully earning a small chuckle out of him. You stop and let out a small sigh.
Where was Jungkook? Was he going to show up or did he decide that this wasn't important than that woman? Was he with her anyway?
You groaned in impatience and cross your arms. "This is ridiculous."
Sangjun raises a brow, "What is?"
"Jungkook not showing up." You answer.
"What are you talking about? He's right there."
You roll your eyes, "No, he's not."
"Yeah, he is. Look." He points at the entrance and you follow his direction. And there he was. Jungkook stepping out of the building and onto the rooftop looking handsome as ever.
You felt your body stiffen at the sight of him in a black suit and with his hair parted over his forehead. He had his hands shoved into his pockets as he looks around for someone. When his eyes land on you his lips spread into a smile.
He walks closer and with each step you felt yourself becoming self-conscious. The closer he got the more handsome he became. With his rosy lips spread into a smile and the white shirt unbuttoned at the top made you take in a sharp breath.
Why was he making such an effect on you?
"Hey," he greets. You opened your mouth to reply but nothing came out. Instead, you quickly looked to the side and coughed. He took this as a chance to look at you.
You wore a light blue, mermaid long dress. It hugged your curves perfectly as well as your chest. Your black hair was curled and flowed down your back. He gulped at the sight, you looked astonishing. Beautiful as ever.
"You look. . .amazing." He breathes. Heat rises to your cheeks and you nod awkwardly. "And so do you." You mumble. His heart started to race at the sound of your voice. It was like music to his ears.
He notices Sangjun beside you and couldn't help but grin at the sight. "Sangjun!" He greets loudly and gives him a quick hug. "What are you doing here?" He asks.
Sangjun pulls away with a wide grin. "I was invited to this party obviously." Jungkook lets out an airy chuckle.
"Yeah, of course. Do you know who's it for?" He asks. Sangjun looks at him slightly puzzled.
"What do you mean who's it for? It's for you, stupid." He teases with a light punch on the shoulder.
Jungkook raises a brow. "For me? Why?"
"It's a prom!" Hoseok pipes up behind Yoongi.
"A prom?"
Finally gaining the courage to speak you look at him with a smile. "Yeah, I thought it'll be nice to throw you one." Jungkook stares at you in surprise.
A prom. You threw a prom just for him. And here he thought you were annoyed with him. "And you did this all for me?" Jungkook clarifies.
You nod sheepishly, "Yeah, I did."
He felt his heart melt a little. No one has ever done this for him. No one ever went through this much work for him. He couldn't explain the excitement and joy that whirled around inside him.
Jungkook felt his lips move upwards into a grateful smile. He moves closer to you and quickly embraces you in a tight hug. Surprised by his action you automatically go stiff. "Thanks, Jisun." He whispers.
You slowly smile and wrap your arms around your friend. With his arms wrapped around you, you somehow felt at ease. It was soothing yet you wondered why it suddenly felt that way.

Am I the only one envious of Jisun?
Yeah? Okay then.
Good to know.
Anyway,😂 vote and comment!♥️
