•Twenty-Eight
A few days have passed and little by little you started to see less of Jungkook. Of course, he'll show up for meals but he didn't eat much. Most of the time when your friends would ask him to hang out with them he would decline.
He would spend the day outside in clothes that weren't meant for the cold weather and sit on a bench. And all he did was stare, he would blankly stare at the view. You haven't heard him speak in a while making you miss his voice.
Each day when you see him alone outside your chest ached. You wanted to do something for him, but you didn't know what. He wouldn't speak to you on any terms. It was like you two became complete strangers in just a week. Needless to say, you were a little depressed and exhausted for thinking so much about what his problem was.
For the millionth time, you let out a sigh causing Yoongi to grip his cup and glare at you. "Okay, what's your problem?" He demands.
He was getting tired of hearing your sad sighs. He was trying to watch a drama but he couldn't pay attention because of how annoying you are.
"Nothing. . ." You mumble as you stare aimlessly at the tv. You had your head on the table with your cheek pressed against the wood. You've been like this all morning.
You hear the padding of feet against the tatami mats until they stop behind you. Someone drops down to the floor and places their arms around your waist. They pull you to their chest and hold you tightly.
"Aww, Jisun what's wrong?" Taehyung asks with a pout forming on his lips. "Was breakfast not good?"
He decided to wake up early and make some homemade fluffy, Japanese pancakes. He figured it would make your day, it seems as though he was wrong.
"No, Taehyung breakfast was delicious." You assure your friend.
Taehyung tightens his hold and places his chin on your shoulder. "Well, I'm going to hold you until you'll feel better," he states like a child making you laugh a little.
Suddenly it was silent all around you except for the tv in the background. You notice Yoongi staring at you with his cup in his hands. Hoseok who was laying on the floor was also staring at you.
You raise an eyebrow, "What?"
They quickly look at Taehyung who seems oblivious. Yoongi lets out an awkward cough and quickly looks away. "N-nothing," he answers.
You look at Hoseok in questioning but he too looks away. What's with them? You lean your back against Taehyung's chest shoving aside their weirdness.
You wondered if Taehyung could hear your beating heart. It rang in your ears and shook your chest. You haven't been held like this in a long while. Especially by Taehyung.
You knew you shouldn't be flustered by his action but he was your ex after all. You couldn't help but be surprised by being held like this.
After a while, you hear someone loudly clear their throat. You turn to the doorway and see Jin frowning with his arms crossed. Namjoon was right behind him with a questioning look.
Quickly, you pry out of Taehyung's hold and stand up. "H-hey, Jin," you greet awkwardly. Somehow you felt like a child waiting to be scolded.
Jin doesn't answer and looks you up and down like a snobby high school girl. He gestures his head to the hall behind him.
"Let's have a talk."
Jin twists his heel and walks past Namjoon and you follow with a sigh. You hear the door slide shut behind you as you follow Jin further down the hall. You both turn left and Jin abruptly stops. You stumble back to avoid bumping into him.
He turns around and stares at you. You wait for him to speak, you were too nervous to talk first. You still don't know why he looks upset.
Jin's lips form into a frown and he cocks his head to the side. "What was that back there?" He questions sternly. You look at him puzzled, what was he talking about?
"I'm talking about the way Taehyung was holding you," Jin clarifies, reading your expression.
Your face flushes a bit and you shuffle your feet nervously. "It was just a hug," you try to assure.
"Just a hug my ass. He was feeling you up!" Jin accuses.
"No, he wasn't!" You shout. "He's just being a friend!"
"Oh, so a friend would hug you from behind and place their face close to your neck?" Jin says. "A friend doesn't do that!"
"Yeah, well Taehyung does and I don't see why you're so upset." You grumble. Honestly, couldn't he see that you were upset?
"I'm upset because you're over here flirting like a schoolgirl with your ex when you could be trying to patch things up with Jungkook." Jin states.
Your lips form into a frown and you quickly look away when you hear his name. "What's there to patch up?" You mumble. "He clearly doesn't want to be anywhere near me."
"How would you know if you haven't tried talking to him?" Jin asks. You press your lips into a firm line.
"I don't need to, I just know." You state simply. You knew Jungkook better than anyone else, it was clear to you that he wants nothing to do with you.
Just thinking about it made the pain in your chest become close to unbearable. You hated this feeling. You hated the way Jungkook was hurting you even though he wasn't here.
Jin lets out a sigh suddenly feeling a bit guilty for making you upset. If only you weren't such a dumbass.
"Look, just talk to him, Jisun." Jin says and walks past you.
"But--!"
When you turn around to protest Jin swiftly turns the corner going back to the living room. You let out a defeated sigh with a frown.
"He makes it sound so easy," you grumble as you stomp down the hall.
What were you going to say? You don't know how to act in these awkward situations. If anything you'll make it worse.
You were sure Jungkook would push away like that time in the restaurant and you didn't want to humiliate yourself. He should be the one to talk to you first. Not you, you didn't do anything wrong.
Thunder rolls in the distance sending a shiver down your spine. The temperature drops instantly. It started to pour, the rain started to make a pattering sound against the roof.
It becomes darker outside with the clouds turning into a dark grey. You stop walking and watch the pouring rain. You rub your arms to keep yourself warm.
Your stomach becomes a little queasy and you shift your feet uncomfortably. Jungkook wouldn't be out in this weather. He knows better to keep himself healthy, especially now.
But as you were assuring yourself that he wasn't out in the rain, you still had an unsettling feeling grow inside you. You just hope Jungkook knows better than to be out out in a storm.

"You're lucky Jimin wasn't here to see that," Namjoon stated as he situates himself on the floor across from Yoongi. Taehyung smirks and leans back with his hands on the floor.
"So what if he sees." He says with ease.
"You know how he is when he sees you and Jisun together," Namjoon reminds sternly. "Especially like that."
Taehyung scoffs, "Oh please, that shortie doesn't scare me. Jisun's my ex, I can do whatever I want."
Hoseok held back the urge to roll his eyes. And he's back, he thought. The arrogant conceded Kim Taehyung is alive and well.
"Why were you holding her like that anyway?" Yoongi questions with his eyes still glued to the tv.
"As I said, I can do whatever I want with her," Taehyung repeats.
"But there's no reason to," Namjoon says with his eyes narrowing. "Unless you're playing her."
God, if he heard that's true he wouldn't hesitate to throw him out the house. He was beyond done with Taehyung's selfish acts.
Taehyung's smirk widens while cocking his head. "Now, why would I do such a thing?"
"Because that's how you are," someone snaps.
Jin opens the door and stares at Taehyung. His eyes narrow into a glare causing Taehyung to chuckle.
"Jin, could it somehow occur to you that I might have changed?"
Jin makes his way to sit by Namjoon. "Yes it has, but a person never truly changes from their old ways."
Taehyung rolls his eyes, his friend was dumb as a rock! How was it not obvious? Does he need to spell it out for him?
"I have good intentions with Jisun." He says firmly.
"That's what you said last time," Yoongi mutters.
"Shut up, Yoongi! It's true!" Taehyung suddenly snaps. "I'm not playing, Jisun. I actually want something with her again."
Everyone's silent, surprised by his words. Not once have they heard Taehyung proclaim something like this about you. Namjoon was first to speak.
"You're actually serious?"
"Get it through your numb skull, Namjoon. I'm not joking." Taehyung says sternly. They all exchange glances before looking back at Taehyung.
For once, they believe him. He wasn't joking, he was serious about his feeling for you. He wanted you, and it wasn't like in the past.
Jin, on the other hand, couldn't stop glaring at Taehyung. He still didn't trust him. Besides, he was rooting for someone else.
"Well, then it seems you're going to have some competition then." He says.
"With who?" Hoseok asks while sitting up.
Taehyung scoffs, "Jungkook is nothing compared to me." Once they pieced the puzzles together Yoongi and Hoseok let out a gasp.
"JUNGKOOK LIKES JISUN?!"
Namjoon sighs, "You're both slow. It was obvious from the start." They look at each other in bewilderment. It was not obvious! They thought he was acting normal.
"Wait, so that mystery girl that Jungkook claims he likes is really Jisun?" Yoongi questions.
Jin nods, "Yes."
He lets out a whistle, "Damn."
Now that the pieces were finally coming together he could see Jungkook being head over heels for you. He always was, Yoongi just didn't care to question it.
"Now that I think about it, those two would be great together," Hoseok hums.
Taehyung rolls his eyes, "Oh please. It has always been Jisun and me," he smirks. "Jungkook has no chance against me. I'm the one Jisun really wants."

It was cold. It was dark. The hair on his skin stood up at the sensation of the cold rain seeping through his clothes.
Yet he made no move to go back inside. He stayed standing while staring out in the distance with dull eyes. Jungkook was wet and cold, only wearing a light black sweater and sweats.
He came out here these past couple days in hopes of avoiding you. He didn't realize though, how good his plan worked. Not once have you come out here to check on him.
A part of him was grateful for it, it made him realize he was worthless to you. But another part of him was angry at you. How could you not care for him? You're his friend, was he not?
It hurt him more than anything knowing you didn't care for him. Maybe it was wrong of him to isolate himself but it was too late now. There's no way you and he could go back to what you two had before.
He heard shouting in the distance but it was faint. He didn't turn around to see who it was. Then the shouting becomes louder, he was able to distinguish the word that was being a shout.
"Jungkook!"
Someone was calling for him, they sounded worried. But who would worry over him? No one.
Jungkook stayed where he stood his hands closing into fists. He closes his eyes, feeling the cold rain run down his skin. He tried his best to ignore the shouting but it came closer.
Until he knew they were right behind him. "Jungkook!" They say once more.
The sound of their voice made his insides twist into a knot and his throat dry. His body went rigid as if he was caught doing something terribly wrong.
But his face remains blank, his eyes still dull. He still kept his back turned to you, yet it was difficult. He knew that a part of him wanted to turn around to look at you.
But another part knew that he couldn't. And that drove him mad. He fought the urge to look at you making his fists shake in self-restraint.
He hears you breathing heavily, no doubt from running all the way out here.
"Jungkook," you say again. He doesn't answer hoping you would just leave. But you stand your ground and stare at his wet back. You purse your lips together.
"Jungkook, please look at me."
