"This is stupid," grumbles Jungkook. "There's no need for you to hold me by the hand."
Seojun shrugs casually, "Well, you ran so I'm just doing us both a favor and keep you from bolting."
"But people are staring at us!" Jungkook whines as he watches passerby's stare in awe. Many stopped and mumble to one another. He tried to ignore them but each comment was a like a stab at his pride.
"Aren't they cute?" One mumbles.
"They seriously look like a match made in heaven."
"Ooh, the one in the parka looks shy. This is must their first date!"
With his cheeks becoming hot Jungkook frowns in embarrassment. "Alright that's enough!" He shouts as he yanks his hand out of Seojun's.
He blinks in confusion, "Why'd you do that?"
"Because people think we're gay!" Jungkook hisses. Seojun looks around and many people look away pretending they weren't looking.
"Aah, who cares? They're just strangers," he sighs. Jungkook rolls his eyes and shoves his hands into his pockets.
"Whatever. Why are you here with me anyway? Aren't you supposed to be with, Jisun?" He asks quite bitterly. Seojun resists the urge to smirk.
The green envy was written all over his face. Jungkook couldn't deny it. But instead Seojun clears his throat with a smile. "Was it just me or was that jealously I heard?" He asks curiously.
Jungkook doesn't react and keeps looking ahead blankly. If this was the reason Seojun followed him then he wasn't having it. It was a waste of time.
"No," he answers lowly. "I'm not jealous."
"Come on, Kook! Are you still running by that?? It's so obvious!" He exclaims. "I mean, look at you! You look green in envy."
Jungkook scoffs, "I don't know what you're talking about." Seojun rolls his eyes but nudges Jungkook on the arm.
"Oh, well if that's the case then I guess you're okay with Jisun and I dating then."
Jungkook abruptly stops walking. Seojun walks a few steps ahead before stopping as well. He glances back with a questioning stare.
"You're. . .You're dating?" Jungkook breathes.
Seojun frowns and turns around completely. "Hm, no," he answers with a shrug.
"But are you thinking about it?"
Seojun shrugs with no answer. Jungkook clenches his fists in his pockets. Anger boils in his veins while he stares at the ground coldly.
Why did he have to pick you? Of all people? Why you?
He tries to control his shaky breathing but he feels his chest rise and fall rapidly. He feels his heart beat rapidly and his throat becoming dry. Seojun watches his friend struggle and ponders if Jungkook thought he wouldn't notice.
Why wouldn't he just admit it to him too? Why can't he just say that he was in love with you?
"Hey, Kook--"
"Don't Kook me, Seojun!" Jungkook abruptly snaps. "Why her? Why do you have to like her?"
Seojun begins to frown, "Why does it bother you? Do you like her?"
Jungkook hesitates and quickly looks to the side. "N-no!" He answers with a glare. "I don't."
"Okay, then why are you upset? It shouldn't bother you then." Jungkook bites the inside of his cheek. He knows that Seojun had a point.
Why was this bothering him so much? He decided to give up in Wanju. He decided to not pursue you. But he knew better than anyone that his feelings were still there. But he shouldn't be acting like this. Why was he getting upset?
"You could've just picked another woman," he says instead. "Taehyung is in love with her, you know."
"Ah, that's bs and you know it," Seojun frowns. Jungkook flinches at his words knowing that's true. Yet he won't admit it.
"Why is it so hard for you to say it?"
"Say what?" Jungkook mumbles.
"Say that you like her," Seojun answers.
Jungkook shakes his head in denial, "I told you, I don't." Seojun resists the urge to groan in annoyance. He didn't think this would be hard at all. It should be easy and simple but it seems that luck wasn't by his side tonight. He had to change tactics. He rolls his shoulders and looks around calmly.
"Alright then. Then it's settled," he breathes.
Jungkook glances at his friend in puzzlement. "What's settled?"
"Oh, you don't need to worry about it, Jungkook. I'm just going to see if Jisun has feelings for me, that's all," Seojun says nonchalantly. "And if she does then. . .well you know what'll happen."
Jungkook blinks in shock. He wouldn't do such a thing. Seojun must be joking, it was the only explanation that he could accept.
Anxiety began to thrum through him like he was being injected. His mind suddenly went to you and his fists starts to shake. Seojun was a good-looking, tall, young man. He was kind, funny, easygoing, and athletic. Any girl would be drawn to a guy like him, but would you be too?
It couldn't be true because Taehyung loves you and he was sure that you return his feelings. But what if you did say yes, where would leave him? Another heartbreak? Another breakdown?
He bites his lower lip containing his frustrating shout. This was why he had decided to give up. He was nothing compared Taehyung or Seojun.
"Fine," he shouts abruptly causing Seojun to jump.
"Go ahead, I don't care," he lies through teeth. Seojun shakes his head with a frown, this was backfiring by the second. If this goes on then Jungkook won't ever make a move.
"Actually on second thought, maybe I won't do it right at this moment," he hums thoughtfully. "I think I'll just wait."
Jungkook frowns and cocks his head. "What do you mean?"
Seojun pouts and shrugs, "Oh, I don't know. I guess to see if anyone will confess to her first."
Jungkook couldn't help but laugh, he wasn't dumb. He knows exactly what Seojun is getting at. "Don't try and make me fall for that, Seojun. That won't happen."
"I'm just saying," Seojun defends. "If you say something then maybe I won't make a move."
Jungkook rolls his eyes having enough of this conversation. He twists his heel ready to head home. Seojun watches in surprise but doesn't make a move to stop him.
"Make a move or not it won't bother me," Jungkook says over his shoulder. "She's just my friend. Nothing more."

12:00 am, Taehyung reads tiredly.
He lays on the sticky wooden floor with his body spread out like a starfish. His shirt was drenched with sweat and his hair was sticking to his forehead. His chest rises and falls rapidly with his heart pounding against his chest.
Never in his life has he danced for eight hours straight. It was no easy task, especially for someone who never danced before. He looks away from the wall clock and looks at the wall of mirrors.
He eyes his exhausted form with a small smirk. His manager wasn't lying when he said he'll work him to the bone. Taehyung never imagined that his manger and the company would go crazy about him going on a trip to Wanju.
After all, he was just a trainee getting ready to debut who knows when. They never tell him the details and he doesn't think they'll tell him any time soon after he played hooky. He couldn't believe it when they threaten to toss him out if he ditches again.
He looks up at the ceiling, "If only they understood why I went." He mumbles.
An image of you pops into his head and a small smile forms on his lips. He hasn't seen you in a couple of days nor has he contacted you. He wonders what you're doing and if you were still up.
Would you answer if he called? Or would you be asleep by now? He groans in irritation. If he wasn't stuck here doing a stupid punishment then he could run all the way to your apartment.
His thoughts of you made his heart flutter with his stomach becoming full of butterflies. Your smile, your laugh, your body just made him all warm inside. He remembers the way held you in Wanju and the secret kiss he gave you when you were asleep.
Who would say you two weren't perfect for each other? You clearly were, he knew you both were good for each other. His smile suddenly turns into a small frown as he remembered something else.
"A person never truly changes from their old ways."
He narrows his eyes. Jin. How he hated the words he spoke then. It made Taehyung's blood boil and his pulse racing. He knows he changed.
He just had to be different. He wouldn't have noticed his true feeling for you if he was the same jerk as he was back then. You know he's different and his feelings for you. Even though you took it as a joke in the past.
A gasp suddenly escapes his lips and shoots up into a sitting position. What if you were with Jungkook right now? Or worse, what if he beat him to it?
"Oh my god," he gasps. Forgetting how tired he was he stands up and runs out the door not caring that his legs felt like noodles.
He had to go and see if you were with Jungkook. He couldn't let it happen. He couldn't let Jungkook confess. He shoves past someone who was unfortunately his manager.
"H-hey! Where you going?" He hears him shout.
"I done the eight hours Mr. Min!" Taehyung shouts back. "I got something to do!"

You let out yet another sigh as you watch a drama on your tv. Although, you weren't paying attention to it. No matter how hard you tried to grasp the concept of this new drama you found you just couldn't pay attention.
Your mind was elsewhere. And that elsewhere was none other than Jungkook.
Ever since that trip to Wanju your friend has always been on your mind. You thought it was nothing at first but now it started to worry you. You never thought about him like this on every hour on every single day.
From his smile to his shirtless body your mind was just full of him. Try as you might you just can't get him off your mind.
You thought that tonight might be an exception because you were worried but that wasn't just the case. Of course you're worried where he ran off too but you were thinking about that question Seojun asked you hours ago.
It seemed to bother you that you thought you and him could be perfect together. You never thought about him in that way until now.
Was it okay to even being saying that about your childhood friend? Isn't a bit weird to think of him as boyfriend material? You glance to your left and see the box of rice cakes on your counter.
Was he planning on visiting you earlier? Or was it just a coincidence that he got your favorite dessert with your favorite fillings inside?
A smile forms at your lips with your heart skipping a beat. You flinch at the feeling and look down at your chest.
Puzzled you place a hand over your heart to feel it rapidly beating. But in a good way. It was like something just bloomed in your heart.
"What the heck is happening to me?"
A sudden knock came at your door and you jump at the sound. You stare at the front door and hear the knocking again. It sounded urgent making you wonder who could it be this late in the night.
Your eyes widen, it could be Jungkook. Excitement began to run through your veins with your heart starting to pound between your spin and chest. Smiling in glee you hop off the couch and dash to the door with your feet pounding on the wood be floor.
You had no idea why you were this happy to see him but at least he came back after he ran out so suddenly at the cafe. You quickly unlock the door and grasp the knob. You swing it open while grinning from ear to ear.
Although, the man standing before you wasn't Jungkook. A tall, young man stands in front of you breathing heavily as if he sprinted all the way here. His hair stuck to his forehead as well as it sticking up in random places. His tanned face glistened sweat, his lips parted slightly in exhaustion.
You notice that he only wore black jeans and a white shirt that was damp in sweat. Your grin falters slightly when you see who it is.
How could he run outside in such cold temperature? Why was here this at night? Why was it him? You look up at him in surprise.
"Taehyung?"
