Log, Day 1

Recently my team has been asked by the military to create a creature to help them in future wars. My team agreed, as we specialized in creating different creatures and tested on them once in a while. But to create a human being that can turn into a monster at will? That may take a while. Anyways, we have decided to name the subject A5-3R. The process is still being decided on how he should look like. But I believe he is going to be an amazing subject.

Log, Day 3

So far, we have already started working on his genetic DNA, willingly, I had two friends of mine accept giving a little bit of their DNA so he could look like a human being. So far, his transformation is starting to work. He already has hair growing on him, and his skin color is starting to develop. It should only be a few more days until he is fully complete. I cannot wait to figure out what's going to happen!

Log, Day 7

Subject A5-3R is already out of his sleep. He is now fully awake,

and we are going to finally be able to test his powers and improve them. The only things different from him from other people, is that his iris is in the shape of a lightning bolt. Although, strangely, that doesn't affect his sight. He also has a tail. But it's not like any other animal tail. In fact, his tail is very thin, and at the tip of his tail it has a line first, then the tip of a triangle, only it's without its base. The end of subject A5-3R's tail seems to be looking like an arrow. There are going to be many new things to learn about him once we start.

Log, Day 9

A5-3R has started to learn how to read and write, as well as speak a little bit, it was like teaching a toddler all over again. A5-3R has started to show signs of curiosity, looking at everything and wondering what they do. I do not blame him. He was only just recently presented to the world. He has even started to read different genres of books, invested in every single one.

Log, Day 14

So far, we figured out possibly the majority of his powers. Thankfully, he is able to transform, but other than his hair, his entire body changes. When he turns, his skin becomes coal-black, the white of his eyes also turns black, he instead has a fully white pupil, and white iris. Horns also grow from his head. Almost like a demon. He also becomes 5 feet taller, which might be a disadvantage on his level. He has enhanced strength, enhanced speed, and enhanced eyesight in this form. In his normal one, he only looks like a regular human and has the regular human appearance, other than his lightning bolt like iris, and tail. It should be great to experiment more with him.

Log, Day 19

A5-3R has been doing great so far, we've managed to discover most of his weaknesses and improve him. But today he asked me, "Doctor Mason? Why can't I go to school?" I responded with the obvious answer. "You won't be able to blend in, it would be hard, and the kids would make fun of you." but he wouldn't give up. "I can cover my eye! I can hide my tail!" I shook my head at this. Putting a hand on his shoulder, I tell him, "A5-3R, people would start to gain suspicion, they would start to push you around, and eventually take off your eyepatch. I can't say anything about your tail, though," He looked down in sadness as I said this. But I sighed, and smiled. "But if you really do want to be more like a human, why don't we start by giving you a name?" his head perked up at this. "What do you want to go by now?" I asked. He thought about it for a moment. "In reference to my name, I will be called Asher." he smiled. I nodded. "Okay, Asher." I am happy to finally give him a name other than letters and numbers.

Log, Day 24

Asher has started to show great progress in everything. He is excelling at every subject we throw at him. He seems ready to be taught how to fight now. We've set up a simulation for Asher, and it is designed perfectly for him. We will set him up in modern world war simulations in VR, so we will see how that goes. Asher is going to be a great asset to the military.

Log, Day 29

Asher has been getting better at fighting in simulations, but we have decided to let him take a little break, so we let him wander around outside. With supervision by his side of course. But, after he came back inside he seemed more . . . distant. Like something was troubling him. I decided to let it slide. Maybe he was just tired.

Log, Day 35

Throughout the days that have passed, Asher has distanced himself from all of the staff in the building. I decided to confront him but he glared at me and stormed off. I don't know what caused him to be like this, but I will find out.

Log, Day 40

Apparently Asher has not been listening to any of us. He has been caught trying to escape the facility. I never wanted to, but all the doctors are are being forced to experiment on him more, and find out what happened to him.

Log, Day 45

I don't know what to say to this. But Asher has really kept his distance from us. Yes, we have locked him away in a room so he doesn't escape again. But he doesn't want to talk to any of us. He'll only make eye contact and stare at us with wide, glaring eyes. Occasionally, he'll be at the glass, his hand on it, staring at us as we pass by him. Or he'll look into the cameras. It was unnerving, like he was watching our every move when it was supposed to be the exact opposite. Once in a while the staff would say that they could hear sobbing and laughter at the same time. I don't know what's going to happen, and I don't want to know what's going to happen next.

Log, Day 47

Asher has escaped. He has already killed one of the staff members. We have stayed hidden for a few days, hoping to ride out this growing problem. I hope no one else dies.

Log, Day 50

I am writing my last words, Asher has found us. And he is killing us off one by one. It is only a matter of time before he finds me. My name is Vivian Jane Mason. And I will never forget the memories I've had with Asher before this. Whoever finds this, please don't hurtjk[

They've kept me from the outside world for too long. They've hidden me from society. They were going to use me like a machine.

But I'm Free. Finally free.

And I'll free you from this place too.
