"Your kingdom is 420 km away from here, we will have a stop for a night. so that means we need tents and more food," y/n stated to Jimin.

The boys, commander ken, and dr. the mill was sitting down in the workroom. Discussing their journey to Ravaryn's kingdom.

"And weapons."Jimin finished her speech with a wide smile which made her glare at him.

"When will we take leave?" John asked eagerness visible in his voice. y/n looked at him with a blank expression, it's been so long since he talked.

Wonder what made him so excited.

"Tomorrow morning," she said coldly.

She turned to her best friend,
who was sitting beside her quietly the whole day observing the map that was on the table, in front of them.

"Ken....." y/n called her, getting her best friend's attention.

"Yes?." ken asked as she looked at her leader.

"I want you to take over my place as a leader for these few days since I am not here." y/n stated.

Voice stern and clear.

"But-" she cut ken off and said
"I trust you." y/n said with sincere glistering in her eyes.

"Fine.." ken sighed out in defeat.

"I have high hopes for you." y/n said as she placed her hand on her best friend's shoulder courageously.

"Don't worry." ken said reassuring her.

It was early morning. y/n, dr. mill and the boys were in front of the gate of the kingdom, ready to leave.

Everyone was holding their backpack full of food, weapons, and personal stuff.

"It's time to go." y/n stated loud enough to get their attention.

Commander ken motioned to the gate's security to open the gates.

The giant double gates creaked open with a loud screeching sound. Revealing the destroyed world behind those walls.

Dr. mill's eye widened at the sight of the crashed-down city.

Namjoon noticed her expression and Being the kind-hearted person he is, he placed a comforting hand on her shoulder which made her flinch, and turned her face in his direction while giving him a disgusted sassy look.

Making the poor boy step back from the crazy doctor and question himself if he is in the right place.

Jimin on the other hand was looking at y/n's focused face the whole time.

"You ready?" Jimin asked making her scoff with a side-eye.

Ignoring him as she said, "let's go."

Jimin smiled cheekily "after you, my lady".

Y/n in annoyance rolled her eyes and walked ahead of them starting their not-too-long journey.

They trailed behind her as they crossed the gates of Savannah, stepping into the whole destroyed world.

After their feet landed outside the kingdom, the gates closed with a loud bang. The sound echoed throughout the quiet city.

They were now standing in the empty city surrounded by crashed buildings, the scattered 90's car was all over the road messily, with a slight wind making all the dust hit the surface.

The city was dark, all you see is grey and black as the high buildings blocked the sunlight from glistering through the city.

"Lead the way."y/n motioned to jimin and he nodded in response.

He walked ahead of them as they walked through the road passing some of the cars.

All they could hear was the sound of the wind and their shoes as they made contact with the ground.

They walked for about 2 hours in silence as Jimin was leading them.

From time to time taehyung and jungkook giggled at what John would say. No one heard what they were talking about as they walked behind all of them.

Sometimes Namjoon will explain things to dr.mil who was curious about the boy's kingdom.

The two leaders were quiet the whole trail.

Maybe y/n talked a lot more with him than the other boys and maybe she shared a drink with him too, but that doesn't mean that she is open up to him.

Still, she doesn't show any emotions when she is around him and that made him frustrated.

"When will we pass the city?"y/n asked catching jimin's attention.

"About 100 km." he sighed out.

"Is there any shortcut?" She asked loud enough for the rest to hear it.

"I don'-" taehyung cut jimin off as he called him "Hyung...".

Jimin turned around to face taehyung while everyone else stopped to hear what he is going to say.

As taehyung was about to speak, Jimin stopped him by holding his hand in the air as he focused on the sound to his left side with a frown on his face.

Jimin's eyes widened "hide..now"
He said breathlessly as everyone hurried to find a place to hide.

Jimin took y/n's arm since she was close to him and hurried to hide beside one of the cars. Crouching down beside the car with jungkook and John.

Namjoon,taehyung, and dr. Mill was hiding beside another car which was meters away from the others.

The muffled sound from earlier is now much clear. the sound of heavy footsteps and loud chattering could be heard.

Jimin put his index finger over his mouth as a sign to keep their mouth shut.

"We should get back before dinner, you don't want to miss tonight's show." one of them said with his groggy voice indicating he is in his mid-50s.

And let out an evil laugh which made everyone shiver, especially the ones who were hiding beside the car.

Y/n lifted her head slightly to get the sight of the two strangers through the car window without being noticed.

Her eyes widened at the two figures, they were...

Infected.

Blue and red Veins were popping out of the side of their face down to their neck with a slight purple color on their skin.

One of them was a little different which was his nose that was broken in half, you could see his skull popping out of his face.

Their clothes were dirty and ripped, probably they didn't change their clothes for so many years.

She was so lost in thought that she didn't notice Jimin has pulled her down.

"Are you out of your mind?!" He whispered angrily with his ragging breaths, she has never seen jimin this angry.

They were snapped out as the other one asked something unexpected.

"Don't you smell something odd but familiar?" The other one asked with his voice similar to the other one but drunk.

"Smell what?." the older one asked as he inhaled a deep breath but didn't smell anything.

"Nah I don't smell anything, probably you are drunk."He said to his friend who finished 15 bottles of beer and one bottle of wine.

The drunk guy laughed and said in sarcasm "Pfft, don't tell me you've lost your smelling sense?" He couldn't stop laughing.

The elder just looked at him unbothered but deep inside all he felt was fury, he couldn't accept the fact that his friends humiliated him so he took action as he grabbed his friend's collar violently.

"Don't you dare to make fun of me!!."He screamed at his face who was still smiling.

"Well that's the truth, your nose is broken into half," he said challenging the elder man who was gripping his collar more tightly than before.

The elder man screamed at the other man's face and pushed him, making him slam into a car.

And to Namjoon and the rest's bad luck, it was the car where Namjoon, Dr. Mill, and Taehyung were hiding behind it.

The impact of the body slamming into the car was enough to scare the shit out of them. So Mill let out a blood-curdling scream, making Namjoon let out a loud shout as well and Taehyung dropped the soda can he was holding.

The can came rolling down from Taehyung to the center of the old street they were on. Then it stopped. Right at the view of the two infected men.

"What was that?" One of the infected men asked, and both of them looked at where the scream and the can came from.

Jimin, Y/N, Jungkook, and Johns' eyes widened as panic filled their bodies, while Namjoon and Mill slammed their mouth shut with their hands and Taehyung pulled out his hair as his eye filled with fearful tears.

That was when they realized...

That there will be a lot of running and that they were...

fucked.
