Let's start story....

It was morning. A girl of around 26 was walking in her room. She was caressing her baby bump of 3months

Girl: My little bean. You know what your papa went to kitchen to make pani puri for us. You love the khati-meethi chatney? See mumma knows everything. Baby it's only 2months but you know what mumma and papa are badly waiting for you. 7 more months we have to wait for you to take you in arms. You know baby. Your papa is treating me like I am little baby.... actually he always do but now he is doing more and more

Just then a boy of 27yrs old barged in

Boy (announcing): Pani puri for my queen and princess is ready

Girl smile listening pani puri but frown in no time as she heard princess

Girl (shout): Siddharth
Sid (rolling his eyes): You carry on with your shouts. I am eating pani puri

Girl went to Sid and snatch plate of pani puri from his hand

Girl (rolling her eyes): This pani puri is mine. You don't dare to look at it. I am already sharing with my baby

Sid chuckled. Girl glared him

Sid: Let me feed my babies Avni
Avni (chuckled): Yessss

Sid start feeding her. After completing pani puri. Avni laid down sid's lap. He was caressing her hair

Sid (caressing her hair): 7months more jaan
Avni (caressing her baby): See baby I was saying you same nah. Mumma papa is waiting for you

Sid chuckled and kissed her forehead

Avni (in baby voice): Papa I also want kissy

Sid giggle and bend down to kiss avni's baby bump. They spend sometime like this

Sid: I have to go office now. You and my little angel take rest
Avni (pout): I am going to meet mumma. I am missing her so much
Sid (kissing her pout): Okay! Get ready I will drop you
Avni: Okay

Sid took his laptop and bag and went down. Avni went to get ready. Sid went in living area. He saw Sm was watching TV and Abhinavi were talking about business deal. Sm saw Sid

Sm: Ready for office?
Sid: Yeah
Abhi: I am waiting for you only
Sid: Just a minute. Avneet is coming. She want to go to meet her family. So after dropping her. We can go office
Vaish: Alright. Maa can I also with avni to meet mom dad?
Sm: Sure
Vaish (hug sm): Thank you maa. Jaan, sid wait for me. I will bring aadi as well and get ready fast till avni come
Abhi: Come fast love

She went to her room. Aadi was sleeping. Vaish didn't woke him. She took Aadi in arms and got him ready without waking him up then she got ready and went down

Vaish: Avni isn't ready still?
Arn: No
Sid: She will be here soon

For few minutes they waited but avni didn't came

Sid: I am going to check her. Don't know what took her this long!

Sid was about to go but avni came out of her room. She was feeling a bit dizzy. She took steps on stairs. Cause of dizziness her leg slipped and she felt down from stairs

Whole family got shocked. Sid life changed upside down. They all quickly ran towards avni. Vaish laid aadi on sofa and ran towards avni. Avni fell on ground. Blood was oozing from her head, arms and stomach as well. Sid sat on ground. He took avni's head on his lap

Avni (low voice cause of pain): Sid please save our baby. Please save our baby

She blacked out. Sid was just numb. He was scared alot

Abhi: Sid let's take her hospital fast

Sid looked at abhi not understanding his words. He was fully scared

Vaish (worried): Abhi you take avni hospital quickly. I will bring maa and Sid. He is scared

Abhi nodded and took avni in arms in bridal style. Sid got more shocked

Sid (tears leaking down on his cheeks): My baby... my avni

Sm sat beside Sid

Sm (rubbing his back): Sid, Abhi took avni hospital. Let's go fast

He didn't understood her words. His mind was stucked with avni and his baby. His heartbeat was fast whole time. He stood up with the help of his mother. Vaish took aadi. They all sat in car. Vaish was driving the car. Sm took Abhi

Few minutes later. They reached hospital. Vaish call Abhi asking about avni's room. Abhi told her. They all rushed towards the room. As they reached there. They saw Abhi was standing at entrance

Sid (scared): Bhai how is avni and my baby?
Abhi (patting sid's shoulder): They are in emergency room. Don't worry everything will be fine

Sid hug Abhu and broke down. Abhi was trying to calm him

Sid (sobbing): I can't even complete my responsibility properly. I couldn't take proper care of avni and baby. I knew in this time she can feel dizzy. Cause of morning sickness. Someone should be with her. I should be with her. I shouldn't have leave her alone

After few minutes. Dr came out. Nigams rushed to Dr

Sid (in one breath): My avni and baby are safe na? They just need little more care, right? I will take care of her fully and I will be with them
Dr: Calm down Mr Nigam. Calm down

Sid took few deep breaths to calm himself

Dr: Sorry to say Mr Nigam. We couldn't save your child and Your wife lost a lot of blood and now we need A- blood for her. First let us save Mrs. Nigam then only I can explain you properly. Anyone of you have A- blood group. It's not available in blood bank
Sid (scared): I have. Take my whole blood but please save my avni (he said joining his hands and broke down)

Dr: Alright. Nurse arrange the room for Mr Nigam now

After sometime. Sid donate his blood to avni. He came back to family. He was fully broken. Tears wasn't stopping. Everyone was sad. Abhi saw Sid and went to him. He make him sit on chair in waiting area and handed a pack of ORS juice

Arn: Sid have it or you will feel weak
Sid (denied): I don't want anything. I am not good father. I shouldn't have leave her alone. It was all my fault. Cause of me We lost our baby. It was all my fault (he was broken)

Arn (sat beside sid): Sid it wasn't your fault. I agree we should have been more careful but it wasn't your fault and if you will break like this then what about avni? Baby was with her for whole 2months in her womb. She will be more sad than you. You need to help her, support her

Sid nodded and drank the Juice

Sid's pov: I am sorry avni. I am sorry baby. I am sorry it was all my fault. I shouldn't have leave you alone. It was my fault

He cried thinking all this. Sm saw this and sat beside him. She hug him and rubbing his back

After sometime. Dr came out. All saw dr and went to her

Dr: Patient is fine now

Abhinavi, Sm and Sid sighed. They got relief but pain of loosing baby they still have in heart

Dr: Mr. Nigam can I exchange word with you in private?

Sid nodded

Dr: Come to my cabin
Vaish (teary eyes): Can I meet avni?
Dr: She isn't concious. You can wait in her room

Vaish nodded. Dr left. Sid too went behind

In Dr's cabin. Dr sat on her chair and asked Sid to sit in front of her. Sid sat

Dr: Mr. Nigam after miscarriage your wife's hormones will change like hormone changes in pregnancy but the difference is pregnancy makes her happy so her mood swings were not sad, angry and frustrated all the time but now she is sad. So her mood swings will be sad, angry, frustrated, fed up. You have to be more careful with her mood swings and alot care she need. (Sid nodded) And cause of this her cervix is weak. She can't carry child in her womb for at least 2yrs. She need time in her recovery. So don't plan child before 2yrs
Sid (nodded): When she can get discharge?
Dr: By evening

Sid nodded sadly. Dr explained him other things related to avni's health. After talking with Dr. Sid came out of her cabin. Tears roll down on his cheeks

Sid's pov: I won't be able to face avni. Mom, bhai, bhabhi are with her. I shouldn't go there

He went to his car and sat on driver seat. All the memories flood in his mind. He was broken and sad. He was angry on himself for not taking care of Avni and baby

Sid bang his head with steering wheel a few times in frustration. He broke down. Resting his head on steering wheel he was sobbing silently. Feeling guilty

Few minutes later his phone rang. Abhi call him. Sid received it

Abhi: Sid where are you? Avni got her conciousness. Come fast
Sid (controlling his sobs): Yaa bhai I am coming

He hangs up the call. He came out of car and went to washroom. Cleaning his face. He moved towards Avni's room

As he reached there. He saw her sitting on bed and getting angry on all and was crying. He ran to avni

Avni (held sid's hands, sobbing): See sid everyone is lying to me. You tell them all. Our baby is safe and with me. They are lying. I know na. I am mumma of my baby. So I know the truth

Sid pull her in hug

Sid (rubbing her back): Calm down! Shh!! Shant!! Calm down baby.. Calm down bache

After some minutes. Her anger finally calmed but still she was sobbing. She aparted the hug. Sid sat beside avni and wiped her tears from cheek

Avni (with loud sob): Sid we lost our baby?

Sid nodded looking down, biting his inner cheek to control his tears. Avni broke down. Vaish sat beside avni and hug her. Avni was sobbing violently. Vaish too cried and was caressing avni's hair

Tear leaked from sid's eyes. He harshly wiped his tears. Don't want anyone to notice it. Abhi saw it. Abhi hug him. Sid hug Abhi. Hiding his face, controlling his tears. Everyone was broken. Sid and Abhi were controlling their tears, rest were sobbing. After few minutes. Aadi woke up

Arman (rubbing his eyes): Where we are?
Sm (wiped her tears): We are in hospital
Aadi (shocked): Why? Dr will inject me? I am good boy dadi. Say dr no injection
Abhi (ruffling his hairs): Dr will not inject you. Don't worry
Arman: Papa let's go home then
Sid: Avneet will get discharge by evening. You all go home. I am here with avni

Vaish nodded. Sm, aadi, Abhinavi went home. Sid make avni lay on bed. He was caressing her hair in no time she fell in deep slumber of sleep cause of medicine dosages. Sid kiss her forehead. Remembering how excited they were for their little one

Skips to night. Sometime before avni got discharge. Sidneet came home. At Nigam mansion all were at dinning table for dinner

Sm: Avni beta today I made your favorite food
Avni (sobbing): I don't want anything
Abhi: Have a little avni
Avni (tears leaking from her eyes): I said no. So I don't want
Vaish (caressing her hair): Avni you need it. Have a little
Avni (pushing the plate, shout): I said nah I don't want anything. So I don't
Sid (shout): Don't have anything. Whom you care for? Don't have

He stood up and was about to go. Avni hug his torso and her anger vanish. She starts sobbing violently

Avni (hiding her face): I can't be a good mother. Cause of me we lost our baby. I am sorry. I am sorry

Sid hugging her back, kissing her hair

Sid: Bacha shant. It was not your fault. It was my fault. I shouldn't have leave you alone. It was my fault. I am sorry

He couldn't control himself any more. He was trying to be strong in front of avni but alas, he broke down. Sm, Abhinavi didn't stopped them knowing they need to take all the pain out

Aadi (teary eyes): Why chachu chachi is crying?

Sid took deep breaths and calm himself. He noticed avni slept

Vaish (concerned): Sid take her in room and make her sleep. I will send your dinner in room
Sid: Hmm... Send avni's as well. When she will wake up I will feed her

Vaish nodded. Sid took avni in bridal style and took her in room and make her lay properly. Servant came with dinner

Sid: Keep it on table

Servant did and left. Sid kissed avni's forehead and locked the door. He went to cupboard taking out X-ray reports. He took X-ray photo and kept the reports back. He went in balcony and sat on ground. He was looking at X-ray photo. Tears brimming in his eyes

FLASHBACK:

Sidneet went to hospital 2days back for Ultrasound. Sid was impatiently waiting for avni's turn whereas avni was nervous

Avni (looked at Sid): Why you are smiling?
Sid (grinning): Today we can see our baby. It's 3months now. Our little bean maybe grown up a bit now
Avni (smiled): Yeah! (Irritated): But sid you know I don't like gel. It's so cold. Huh!
Sid (kiss avni): I know haan but for our baby please. If you want I too will apply gel

Avni looked at Sid with shock then burst out laughing

Avni (laughing): Are you serious?
Sid (nervous): Yaa I can. If through this you will smile and be stress free
Avni (pulling his cheeks): Aww!! You are my cutie pie

Sid side hug her. For few minutes they stayed like that till their turn

Nurse: Avneet Nigam it's your turn
Sid: Alright

Sidneet followed nurse and went in room for Ultrasound. Dr smiled at sidneet. They returned it. Sid make avni lay on bed and stood beside her holding her hand. Dr applied gel on avni's baby bump

Avni (hissed): Ahh!!
Sid (squeeze her hand assuring her): It's Okay!

Avni nodded and smiled weakly

Dr (gaining sidneet's attention): Here is your baby

Sidneet looked at screen and saw little bean which dr showed on screen. They had happy tears in eyes

Sid (grinning): Can I get photo of this?
Dr: Yaa. You will get with reports

After check up they sat in car and drove towards home. In car

Sid: What I am thinking I will collect all the X-ray photos and make a frame of it, how's the idea?
Avni: Not bad
Sid (excited): On baby's birth. We will click her pic then I will add in frame from our little bean to our little baby
Avni: Yes... Any other planning?
Sid: Yeah but I will share as per time

Avni chuckled. She was teasing him whole way

FLASHBACK END

After sometime. Avni came in balcony in search of Sid. She saw him broke down. Tears came out of her eyes

Avni (cracky voice): Siddharth

Sid looked at avni and wiped his tears quickly. Avni sat beside him and hug him

Avni: No need to hide your tears from me. I have pain of loosing our baby. So you have

Sid hug her back. They both were crying in each other's embrace. Understanding each other's pain

Sid: I love you
Avni: I love you too

It is said that Time heals everything. They too took time. Like everything their pain too heal as the time passes. They planned to spend 2yrs with each other. Understanding more, loving more, giving time to family.

It is said women have to suffer alot in miscarriage but no one knows the pain of men. The way a mother lost her child same way a father. The way mother thinks, plans for her child same way fathers do. In the time of pregnancy a mother have to face alot of difficulties for her child she bares anything. At the same time no one notices situations of father. They bare wife's mood swings, anytime cravings, they too plan alot of things for child which they can't even shares properly. They do work hard to earn more for his child. They stands with wife every moment. At the time of miscarriage the way a women broke same way a man do but difference is man can't show it because he wants to be strong for his wife. His wishes, dreams also broke the way a women's but women can't control her emotions cause of hormonal changes but man do it but for wife and family. He bare all his pain without sharing..........
