Yes! Feel free to choose any genre as long as it fits the autumn theme and the prompt you receive.

2. Can I change partners during the contest?

No, you’ll need to stick with the same partner throughout the contest to maintain fairness.

3. Can I fix more than one plot hole?

While you’ll receive only one prompt, you’re welcome to resolve additional plot holes within your story, as long as the main one is addressed.

4. What if I don’t know how to fix the plot hole?

That’s where teamwork comes in! Collaborate with your partner, brainstorm ideas, and let your creativity guide you.

5. Can I participate in multiple duos?

No, each participant can only join one duo to maintain fairness and avoid overlap in entries.

6. Can the story be part of an existing work?

Yes, you can use an existing story, but the chapter you submit must be newly written and should address the plot hole prompt.

7. What if I can’t meet the word limit?

The word limit (1,000–3,000 words) is flexible to some extent, but try to stay within the range. Chapters below 800 or above 3,500 words may not qualify.

8. What if my partner can’t complete the chapter?

If your partner is unable to continue, you may either:
