The main event of this Takeover event is about to begin and everyone in the crowd, backstage and in front 8f their screens are already fidgeting in anticipation. If there was a way to measure excitement, the machine would already have exploded, because everyone has been looking forward to WALTER vs Davey Sunblast since it was announced. The whole social media network was blowing up with messages about the event. And now all hell will break loose in just a moment. Since Davey is the challenger, he walks out first in a quite different suit. Instead of it being completely purple, it's golden with a purple sun symbol on the back and his last name written in white above it. It's the biggest match in his career yet, so why shouldn't he have something special to wear? The sun on the titantron is also flaring up from time to time, colouring the arena slightly orange. Davey himself is smiling and makes his way towards the ring. He's clearly looking forward to giving everything he's got and more. It's No DQ after all, so there will be a wide array of objects used in the match. Pain will be dished out, suffering will spread, blood will spill...You get the idea. Sliding into the ring, Davey smiles at the crowd and takes off his sun glasses while the mood shifts. The arena darkens, all spotlight is on the stage. Out from a wall of fog comes the NXT UK Champion, WALTER. He has put the title on his shoulder. Some people may wonder where the rest of IMPERIUM is, but that is nothing to worry about at the moment. The austrian himself is challenge enough for anyone, so any other distractions would just cause Davey to lose focus. WALTER is surely not backing down tonight, neither is his opponent who walks from one corner to another. There's still a big amount of respect between the two, since they dedicate everything to wrestling, they're friends outside of the ring and have learned a lot about each other. The match will show everyone how good the two actually are as the bigger man steps into the ring and puts his arms behind his back, showing why he's the Ring General. He then hands the title to the referee and the announcer gets to his part of the evening.

Announcer:" The following is a No Disqualification match. And it is for...The NXT UK Championship! Introducing first,  from Dublin, Ireland. The challenger: Davey Sunblast!"

Smiling, Davey climbs the ropes and points to the sky before spreading his arms. He's the Firestorm From Dublin for a reason and he will show WALTER what that means.

Announcer:" And from Vienna, Austria. The reigning NXT UK Champion: WALTER!"

The mountain of a man is calmly taking off his robe as the fans chant for him and Davey. Both sides are obviously favorites and, no matter who wins, the match will be amazing. After the referee shows everyone the belt again, he checks on both competitors and then rings the bell. Just like earlier, there's no time wasted as Davey rushes forward and bombards WALTER with a flush of strikes and kicks to the body and legs. The speed is incredible, but unfortunately it comes to a halt when WALTER pushes Davey off. Brute strength and wit have helped the big man this far, he won't lose the title that easily. Soon the two find themselves engaged in a grappling contest.

They do their best to outwrestle each other repeatedly through different lock-ups, transitions and slips, only to get entangled again. There has always been a technical side to both of them as Davey has WALTER in a headlock. He's trying to cut off any oxygen early on, but the austrian gets out of that by performing a Back Suplex, resulting in Davey breaking the hold and rolling onto the apron. The two take a moment to breathe before another move is executed. WALTER hits him with a Big Boot, dropping the irish man to the floor for now. He follows him outside and then looks under the ring for something to use, grabbing a part of a steel pipe. The pipe is almost as long as WALTER's forearm, so it should do more than enough damage and Davey is the one feeling it first by being hit in the leg with it. His legs are an important part in every match and with WALTER taking them out early, there has to be a different way to go about this. So before he gets hit again, Davey flips WALTER over himself right into the barricade to at least get rid of one threat. Both are currently on the ground, already experiencing a bit of pain. The match will provide plenty of that as we all will see with time passing. This time it's Davey who grabs an object from under the ring, revealing it to be a table. It's great for many spots, but also blocks a lot of his view, so he doesn't see his opponent running at him, taking him down with a Running Crossbody. How the table is still in one piece is beyond everyone, but it definitly wakes up everyone.  Davey and WALTER glare daggers at each other as they get up, this time Davey avoids a Clothesline by jumping on the apron again. When WALTER turns around, he is met with a Moonsault right to his face and chest. High impact is a big thing in NXT UK and both superstars surely deliver that. Davey grabs the table again and puts it up in the middle of the ring for another big maneuver that's been on his mind for a while, so he gets WALTER back in the ring, puts him on the table and climbs to the top rope. It looks like the austrian won't move, but right before Davey can hit a Diving Leg Drop, WALTER rolls out of the way, making Davey crash through the wooden structure. The pain from that is visible on his face, but WALTER takes that opportunity to go for the pin.

Kickout!

It won't be that easy to win, so the big man gets the remains of the table out and deadlifts Davey for a Powerbomb. The smack makes a few people cringe as this repeats two more times and every time Davey lands harshly on his shoulder blades. There's a high risk of injuries in this match and both wrestlers know that as Davey is flattened once again, this time by a Big Splash from WALTER. Marcel, Fabian and Alexander are also around the ring already, making sure everything is going to end fair and square. So far everything is still a bit too tame for some folks, but business is about to pick up the pace.

About twenty minutes later, we see several broken objects and two bloody wrestlers in the ring. Davey and WALTER have given each other hell, but it's not over yet. Not after Davey suplexing WALTER through a ladder, WALTER powerbombing Davey through the commentary table or both throwing each other off the stage and through two tables. The blood on Davey comes from landing face first in thumb tacks, WALTER on the other hand is bleeding from having lost a tooth, due to several superkicks. Their bodies are bruised all over, muscles burning, but their will is living on. This match has to end soon and it will do so in spectacular fashion. Davey is taking down WALTER with a Running Dropkick, then he backs up and does it again. Following that is a Springboard Moonsault and a pin attempt.

Kickout!

Nobody can believe it as WALTER has just kicked out of two of Davey's best moves. The irish man is gritting his teeth and climbs up to the top rope once more to put the nail in the coffin. He takes a deep breath, readies himself and hits a Burning Star...on the ring canvas. It's another case of WALTER getting out of harm's way. He's sitting in a corner, clearly exhausted, but happy to carry on with the match. When Davey gets back up, he's receiving a barrage of chops to the chest, making his skin flare up red. He knows this will end soon as WALTER puts him on the top rope again, only to climb up himself. They shortly wrestle for control, but the Ring General is having the upper hand, lifting Davey onto his shoulders. He's about to go for a Powerbomb from up there, but before they both hit the matt, Davey turns things around with a Frankensteiner. It's impressive to see them still moving as the match has passed thirty minutes by now. All the blood and sweat they have shed during this massacre won't be for nothing. Davey is pulling himself up, left knee clearly hurt, but he's too determined to pay attention to it. He wants to end things right then and there. So when WALTER is back up, the red haired man superkicks him three times and then performs a Codebreaker, but that's not it. No, the real finish is coming just around when WALTER lifts his head from the matt. Davey takes charge, jumps up and stomps right in the austrian's neck for a Curb Stomp, immediatly pinning him.

And it is all over! After about ten months in NXT UK, Davey Sunblast has achieved the unthinkable. He is the man who has put down The Ring General and won the NXT UK Championship in the same night. Every muscle in his body is burning, the scars from the thumb tacks are still bleeding and he feels slightly dizzy from the adrenaline. It takes a moment for him to process what has happened while the referee hands him the Championship. His theme is playing while confetti rains down through the arena. Davey can't contain himself anymore, so he opens the flood gates and sheds tears of joy. The time, the effort, the pain, the setbacks, everything has been worth it. From starting back home in Ireland, working all over Europe before coming to the WWE. Only one person could make this moment perfect and she is walking down the ramp right now. Kay Lee Ray is hugging her boyfriend and also champion tightly, also shedding tears of joy. The night has been incredible from the start, so finishing it with a new champion is only adding to that.

Upon getting back to the stage, Davey gets a microphone. He has waited for the right time to do this and, after that grueling match, there's no better moment.

Davey:" Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you for coming here. Thank all of you for everything: The continued support, the messages, coming to Meet&Greets, even watching NXT UK. I Love you all...Speaking of love: I have waited for this moment for so long."

Davey carefully gets down on one knee and pulls a small, red box from his pocket. Luckily nothing is broken from any of the landings he took.

Davey:" Miss Kay Lee Ray, I have dreamt about this moment ever since we went out for our first date. You have given me everything you could, you have brought me this far, you have made me who I am today. So I would love to ask you."

He opens the box, revealing a ring with a diamond on it. Davey has spent quite a lot of money for it and he's glad he did. All that is left to do now is to ask the all important question.

Davey:" Will you marry me?"

Kay:" Yes! Yes, I will, David Boyd."

And so, Davey puts the ring on Kay's finger and they share a long passionate kiss. They may have only met at the start of the year, but their bond is stronger than anyone else's. With a round of loud applause and some pyro to celebrate, the show ends.

We have reached the end of the story, Ladies and Gentlemen. It was way more than just a wild trip, lots of ups and downs, happiness and sadness. I really enjoyed writing this story.
