That's right, ladies and gentlemen. This story is very close to being done. I will write the first part for Takeover Birmingham today and the second part tomorrow. After that, I will finally get back to my Zelina Vega story and work towards finishing that as well.

The day has come. NXT UK Takeover Birmingham is upon the wrestling world and the giant crowds of fans, critics and newcomers are definitly ready. The planing stage was quite difficult, but in the end, everything is at its place, the script is final and the matches are set. Employees are talking with each other at the moment while the superstars who are booked for the night get dressed and warm up for what's to come. And rightfully so, because many matches have a lot at stake with championships on the line, the physical and mental health will also be affected and there's most surely blood to be spilled along the way.  It's safe to say that every single person at NXT UK is watching as well as the higher ups in WWE like Triple H, Shawn Michaels and Vince McMahon.  Impressing the chairman himself is hard enough, but actually winning the match is a whole other story.

Currently Kay Lee Ray is preparing herself for the 30 minute Ironman match. She has to defend her NXT UK Womens Championship against Jinny tonight and, as everyone should know by know, the two despise each other to the bone. Constant trash talk, attacks during or after matches and beef on social media has brought this situation upon us. The scottish woman isn't showing any signs of fear or weakness as she looks at herself in the nearest mirror.

Kay:" I can and I will drown that bimbo. Neither her, nor anyone else will take this title away from me. If I have to go all out, then so be it. I let her get away before, but that won't be the case tonight."

Nodding to herself, Kay walks out of her locker room and takes a quick look around the backstage area. The arena is quite a lot bigger than Full Sail University. That means more people are watching and that also means a wider playing field for everyone along with newer wrestling fans finally getting a first live experience. The Network is doing really well for itself too, showing every customer the best of everything the WWE has to offer as well as Specials about the older days of the industry. Kay smiles, hardly believing that she's still a successful competitor. There are millions of people who want to live the very same Dream she's experiencing. Many wrestling schools are scattered around the world, every single one teaching a different style. Just like in UFC where you have a wide array of martial arts to focus on. Then again, not everyone can master everything in life, but they can surely learn a few things.

After a very personal and heartfelt opening promo and the first two matches, it's time for Kay and Jinny to take control. There are still doubters in the crowd, but everyone is sure, even they will be blown away after tonight. The energy is already off the charts as Jinny is the first to go out, due to being the challenger. She has added a different Make-up for the night, trying to look more like the mistress while thinking Kay is the student.

Of course Halloween is already over, but maybe it's supposed to be like that. It's a big championship match after all for her and for Kay as they will torture each other in every possible way they can think of, because Kay requested that there's no DQ at all, so they can go all out. It's gonna be worse than just a war. Reaching the ring, Jinny takes off her robe and prepares herself again while Kay makes her way out from backstage. She also put on different Make-up for the night.

Her title is secured around her waist as she looks at the crowd who are split 50/50. They haven't completely decided who to cheer for yet as she walks down the ramp, keeping her eyes on the woman in the ring all the time. The tension in the air is thick enough to cut it with a knife as they finally stand in front of each other, clearly not happy to see one another. Giving the belt to the referee, the two seperate as the announcer finally speaks up.

Announcer:" The following is a 30 minute Ironman match. And it is for...The NXT UK Womens Championship! Introducing first, from Knightsbridge, London, England: Jinny!"

The confident woman smirks and mocks everyone by bowing down as if she's some higher power or something. She's clearly setting off a lot of people with that as Kay watches on with a scowl.

Annoumcer:" And from Glasgow, Scotland. The reigning NXT UK Womens Champion: Kay Lee Ray!"

Throwing up her hands, she leans against the top rope with her chest and smiles at the crowd. Kay has been a Fan favorite for a damn long time and her acting as the current champion is showing how much better she is these days. It's paying off to learn from others along the way as both women are just waiting for the bell. When it finally ring, Kay immediatly takes Jinny off her feet with a Double Leg Takedown. She hammers down on her as fast as she can, set out to dominate throughout the match. Kay is the Queen of NXT UK after all and she has to defend her kingdom with any means necessary. The ref can only look on as Kay punishes the black haired woman with fists and elbows as much as possible. Many people would question how real all of that is as the beating comes to a stop when Kay gets up and backs off, already liking what she has done. It's gonna be a rough night for everyone when the match picks up the pace.

I will speed the whole thing up a bit, because writing a 30 minute match could really take a lot of time to complete. I normally don't do this, so forgive me just this once.

There are maaaany highlights throughout this match, such as Kay tackling Jinny through the barricade,  Jinny delivering a Piledriver through a table with Kay, both of them crashing from the top of a ladder and Kay diving down on Jinny who was on the commentary table. The current score is two falls for Jinny and three for Kay as the last few minutes of the match have begun. Their Make-up has clearly worn down from the fighting and both are gripping either an arm or a leg as they stare each other down. Kay grabs a sledgehammer while Jinny takes a steel chair to defend herself. Both circling around each other, making sure they're even before trying to hit each other. Light pats against the back are a first step towards more pain, which follows by Kay getting hit in the mid section by the chair. She's bending over because of it, giving Jinny more space to attack. A barrage of hits with the chair follow until the poor object is no longer usable. The black haired female looks down on her opponent, knowing exactly what to do now. She grabs one of Kay's arms and wraps it around the woman's throat as if she's going for a Cobra Clutch, but that's not the case. Jinny pushes Kay forward, unwinding her and uses the rebound for an Acid Rainmaker. Many people recognize this move from Jimmy Havoc and its original User Kazuchika Okada, as it sends the scottish woman back to the matt with Jinny going for the pin.

That evens the score as time runs on. Both women scored three falls now and only five more minutes remain. The wear and tear on both is extremely obvious as everything becomes a bit more loose. The crowd is quiet in anticipation, not knowing what's gonna happen next, but that question is answered by a Pump Kick from Kay to the face of her opponent. If this match ends, it's gonna end the right way as Kay grabs a new kendo stick because one from earlier broke. She's twirling it around, seeing Jinny slowly but surely get up in the corner with her back turned which is a really bad idea. Kay uses that opportunity and strikes her with the stick as much as possible, even when some of the strips come undone. Red marks and some scratches now plaster Jinny's back while Kay steps back and takes a deep breath. Time is running out and so does the chance to successfully retain the title. But she shakes that thought for the moment and grabs a steel chain that was introduced after falling off the ladder before. She trips Jinny and wraps the chain around her face, pulling back hard to get at least one fall through Submission. The steel digs into the cheeks of Jinny as she tries her best to get to the ropes. But it's too much, the pain is unbearable and so, she taps out, giving Kay the lead again. One minute is remaining and so there's only a few chances to make Jinny regret challenging Kay of all people. Kay is stomping onto her left ankle repeatedly to weaken her for the next few days, the clock counting down. In the last ten seconds, she gets Jinny up, only to knock her down again with a punch right to the nose. Once the fist connects, the clock rings and the match is over.

All this pain, all this suffering, the agony Kay had to go through to beat this beast. Surely both of them will be bruised all over, maybe even have torn a muscle or cracked a rip. If it wasn't for inner core strength, believe and determination, she wouldn't have done it, but there she is: Kay Lee Ray, still NXT UK Womens Champion. Everything she has worked for to come this far has been worth every single second and David also pushed her to her limits more than anyone else would have. Of course, Kay doesn't completely unharmed as her lower lip is bleeding a bit from a hard Superkick she received. The scottish woman is overwhelmed by everything happening. Fans are chanting, the commentary team is going all out and even the referee is congratulating her to her win. Kay gladly takes the title and raises it in the air as she sheds tears of joy. This has to be celebrated one way or another.
