~-Lindsey's POV-~

~Continuing From Chapter Thirteen (Guardian Angel)~

Garroth ran excitedly towards the gates. But he stopped suddenly and frowned. He looked at me with a confused look. 

"Lindsey, do you know what happened here?" He asked. 

"No, not exactly. Why, has it changed much?" I asked him. Then I used my magic to open the gates for us. 

"Yeah...the forest looks bigger and...the village looks abandoned! Hold on...maybe..." Before Garroth could finish is sentence, he ran into the village.

"W-Wait!" I yelled after him. I chased him into...wherever he was going.

He soon found another set of gates and we saw a safe hold! A guard on the other side of the gates smiled and opened them. People started crowding us. Well, not me, but Garroth. I understand though. He's been gone for fifteen years. People asked him questions like: "How did you get out of the dimension?" And, "Is Zane with you?".

"Whoa, hey, I'll explain to you all later. But...can you show me where Aphmau is? It feels like it's been forever since I've last seen her." Said Garroth. I raised an eyebrow. 

Is that...his girlfriend? Ugh, No, stop, I can't be in love with a guy I just now met in the forest! 

"She's up in the tree house. Along with Laurance, some...guy, and your sister." Said the guard that opened the gates for us. 

"Wait, my sister?" He asked. 

"She's not exactly...awake. Something happened to her. But...she'll be fine." Said another female guard. 

"Okay, can you...take me to the...'tree house'?" Garroth asked. 

"I'll take him." Said the guard that opened the gates. He turned to me. "Hey, did you safe him?" 

"Who, me? No, I don't exactly know what happened. But I saw him in the forest and wanted to help." I said. "My name's Lindsey."

"I'm Dante. And thank you for helping Garroth." He said with a smile. I smiled back and he took us to a huge Yagrasil (I think I spelled that wrong) tree! 

When we got to a small room with a ladder, Dante climbed up it and said,

"Aphmau, Laurance, big news! Garroth showed up at the gates!" I herd two gaps. 

"G-Garroth?" This sound like a woman's voice. 

Me and Garroth climbed up the ladder after Dante. Garroth went up first and me second. It was nice inside the tree house. It was nice and cozy inside. Inside, I saw a man with light brown hair and baby blue eyes, a girl with H/C hair and E/C eyes sleeping, and a girl with black hair and hazel eyes who looked like she was about to cry. The room as silent for a few seconds. Then the girl ran up to Garroth and hugged him tight. Garroth hugged back. I felt a new feeling, jealously. The man just...stared. Maybe he liked the girl. 

"Heh, miss me?" Asked Garroth to the girl. 

"Yes! I mean, I know we could communicate in our dreams but still! I thought you died when I wasn't seeing you for the past couple weeks!" She yelled happily. 

"Aphmau..." Garroth began. Then he leaned closer to her and kissed her...on the lips. She kissed back. I groaned and tried to control my emotions. I took a step back. 

"No..." I said under my breath. "Crap...h-he's taken..." 

I sat back on the bed behind me and looked at the ground. 

"Hey, you okay?" Asked someone. I looked up and saw a man with dark blue eyes and red hair. He smiled at me. He also had black and white wolf features. I sighed and looked back down. 

"No. I'm not." I said. 

"What is it?" He said and looked over at Garroth and 'Aphmau'. "Oh, I see. Well, it's okay. There's plenty of fish in the sea." 

"Yeah, but...ugh, I'm so dumb. I just met him. I thought-- never mind." I said. 

"Hey, my name is Even, by the way. You?" He asked. 

"Lindsey..." I said quietly. 

"Lindsey, huh? That's a cute name. Say, you're kinda cute too." He blushed. "Uh, s-sorry." 

"Pfft, wrong time, man." I said. He sighed. 

"I know...hey, uh, be right back." He said. I looked up and he was gone.

"What?" I asked myself. He soon came back in the same spot but with a flower in his hand. It was a white flower. He handed it to me.

"Heh, how...did you get this? What did you do?" I asked. 

"I can...freeze time and teleport. So, yeah." He said.

"Thanks, I guess." I said. 

"Heh, time has changed in the past 100 years." He said. I looked up at him fats. 

"100 years!?" I asked. 

"Oh....uh, you see, I've been trapped inside an amulet for....I dunno, 100 years? Luckily that girl found it. Hope she's okay." He said and looked at that girl on the bed. 

"Who's she?" I asked. 

"Y/N. She's also a pretty cute girl. But...I think she has a boyfriend. It's a little obvious...kind of." He said and sighed. 

"Um, who? Sorry, I'm a little curious." I said. 

"That guy who just ran out of here. Heh, I think his name is Laurance. He waiting at Y/N's bedside for the past day. So...yeah." He said.

"If that's his girlfriend then...why did he just....never mind." I said. 

Even sat next to me. I looked at him. He blushed then he leaned in to try to kiss me. I scooted to the side and eventually fell off the bed. 

"Whoa! Hey!" I shouted, blushing. 

"Heheh, s-sorry. Bad timing? Yeah, I'm a little....impatient." He said blushing. 

"That doesn't mean you get to kiss a girl you just met!" I yelled. 

"Yeah...your right I guess. Um, I'm just gonna go now. B-Bye." Then he walked over to the ladder and climbed down. I sighed. 

Soon, a girl with blond hair and glasses and a meif'wa with pink hair came up. They walked over to the bed the girl was in. So did Aphmau. 

"I think she might be waking up! She's been tossing and turning in her sleep!" Said Aphmau to the girl in glasses. 

"Yeah, your right. Maybe she's gonna be okay! Hmm, but I wonder what happened when she touched that amulet." Said the girl in glasses. The meif'wa gasped. 

"Aphmau~Senpai, Emmalyn~Chan, look! Y/N~Senpai might be waking up! Kawaii~Chan's sure!" She said. 

I assume that she woke up because everyone started talking and questions were thrown everywhere. The meif'wa said that someone was here and that she should see him. 

Garroth...

I sighed. Then the girl saw him and tears filled her eyes. She said that she was his sister. 

Hmm...so this is the 'sister' that Irene was talking about...
