There was a rasp to his voice, a power to his music. The way he danced he knew who was watching, knew exactly what he was doing. Even those who didn't like Ajax Starr knew he was smart, knew he knew.

Inside the band was a different story and the same story. Ajax Starr was a bit of a jerk. A narcissist. He controlled the things they did and manipulated them, all of them except the guitarist. He had a soft spot for him, a secret little gap in his armor. But they continued to make music, releasing a total of four albums together before falling apart.

Ajax Starr was seen, but never heard singing again. No one knows why. He disappeared as much as a man of his level could.

Why did Ajax disappear? Why did the band break up?

This man. The press went wild for him and his antics, the things he did. The way he erratically climbs the beams around the stage, throws eggs into the audience, winks at the girls, says things he maybe shouldn't. They love him.

The way he draws in teenage girls in a storm. His self-obsession. He was a character. Ajax Starr, son of Jackson Starr, everyone's favorite nepo baby. He owned it, just like he owned everything.

Oh, he's a jerk too, by the way. Narcissistic, manipulative, controlling of the band. He had someone to learn from, but is that an excuse? 

Except...he's never like that with the guitarist. Never. Ajax was always softer with their dear guitarist. It wasn't fair, and the band knew it, but they were all waiting, watching to see what would happen when those strings of tension between them broke. Ajax would never admit any form of attraction, he cared too much about the throngs of teen girls who appeared at their concerts. Cared too much about what his father thought, although he wouldn't admit it. If they were honest, the entire band was fascinated by the way he acted around him, fascinated by the tension and the strange change in character. None of them knew what caused this sudden shift.

I am beyond excited, partially because music and bands are fun and partially because Ajax is so fun to write. You may have seen some announcements with snippets about him, but if you haven't he's such a self-centered obsessed little guy it's almost funny. It won't always be funny because there are going to be some fun fights within the band, but it is right now :D

You can apply as many times as you want! It'll close whenever I have enough applications. If you really need a date, let's say October 20. No clue what day of the week that is.
