"I know this might be personal but I'm bored so, how or when did you know you were gay?" Lance asked looking up from his laptop

"Well, I was ten and my 'brother' shiro was around thirteen or fourteen and had just gotten a boyfriend, I asked if he loved him and he said yes and that it's okay for me to love whoever I want, a year later I was moving foster houses again and I met this boy, he made my heart flutter and my cheeks get warm and when I asked shiro he said I had a crush, I had kissed a girl before and I knew I didn't like it so this crush I had only confirmed it for me, although I didn't come out to my friends until last year" Keith said without looking up form his notebook

"How about you?" He said looking up and motioning to the bi flag

"Well I was dating this girl and we decided to go to a party to celebrate our three month anniversary, turns out she's a lightweight and a big yaoi fan, don't ask what yaoi is just google it, we sat down to play truth or dare and she dared me to make out with a random straight dude that was sitting next to me he kinda shrugged so I did and the next morning I woke up with a huge hangover and a lot of questions about my sexuality, I came out to my parents a few months ago and haven't really been home since so I don't know what they think or if they care"

"Damn so were both kinda fucked at home.."

"The hell no my parents don't fuck me!" Lance said with a smile

"Oh my god you dork" Keith said throwing a pillow across the room and hitting lance in the chest

They started laughing and making stupid jokes before lance fell asleep to some jazz music Keith was listening to while drawing

Keith looked over and smiled as he got to work sketching his face

Keith got out his favourite expensive markers shiro had gotten him for his birthday one year and coloured in the drawing

After he finished he closed the book with a smile and switched off his lamp turning his red fairy lights on

The blue hue from lances lights made a purple in the middle of the room

Keith fell asleep with a slight smile and visions of lilac in his head
