Hello everyone this is another Midorima x reader chapter. I had so much fun in the last one I decided why not make it another. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Midorima POV

"That's all you may have the rest of the class period to finish up the work," The teacher said as I sigh while looking at my hand. It's been a month since she quit and lately, it's been boring without her there to talk to. It wasn't long until Kuroko left too and I have classes with him still.

"Um, Midorima can you help me with this problem?" A girl asked as she stood in front of me with the work we were given.

"Didn't you pay attention in class? You do realize this is going to be on our exam," I said not caring if I was rude to her.

"Well I... um," she seemed a bit ashamed and looked ready to cry. The bell rang as I got up and made my way out of the class to go to the basketball practice.

"Was it me or did Midorima seem in a foul mood today?" I heard a few of them say out loud as I walk away.

"Oh, Shin-chan heading to practice?" I saw (F/n) standing there with a smile.

"Yeah are you heading home too?"

"I'm head to dance practice," she said a bit embarrassed.

"Didn't expect you to be a dancer," I said as she laughed softly. She seem a bit more lively than before which made me glad that she's feeling better.

"Well I did start as a beginner when we were first years, but it a good way to let distract me from the stress that I've been having. Not to mention it was Akashi who took me there one time just so I see what it was like. Now I just dance to distract myself from being bored and see if it's something I would enjoy doing for the rest of my life. So do you want to come with me next time you have off? I could use a dance partner to practice," she said with a smile as I felt my heart beating faster.

"Sure," we walked beside each other in silence but it didn't feel awkward, but it felt like we didn't need to say much.

"Hey isn't that the vice-captain with her?"

"Yeah, you don't think they're dating?"

We passed a few other classmates and hear them whispering about us. Ever since they broke up a lot of people have been talking about their break up and what could cause them to separate.

"I wonder if Akashi-kun is mad that they're together," someone said as we sigh.

"People sure like to talk," she said as I couldn't agree more.

"It's quite annoying, but eventually things will quiet down and we'll be able to enjoy the quiet time we have." She smiled as kept walking.

'Graduation will soon come and we won't see each other often like now.'

"Shin-chan since we're going to be in different schools next year, I was wondering if you ever get a girlfriend will you stop hanging out with me?" She asked as I was surprised about her question.

"Why would I do that? If the girl I'm dating doesn't like you then I don't want anything to do with her." She seem surprised by my answer but started to laugh.

"Are laughing about me!"

"No, it's just you make it sound like I'm your mom," I blush seeing it did sound like that.

"Well... I... shut up, Nanodayo!" I began to walk away quickly as she apologize.

"Shin-chan I'm sorry, but I'm glad you said that," I looked over to her as my cheeks were still red.

"Why?"

"Cause you trust me a lot to see if she's the right person for you, and I guess that makes me happy cause you're very dear to me Shin-chan," she said as she smiled making me blush.

"Ah Mido-chin, Aka-chin is waiting for you," Murosakibara said as I felt (F/n) grab my sleeve and hide from Murosakibara.

"I'm heading there now," he just walked away and head to the gym. As soon as he was gone I looked over to see her go a bit pale.

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah I just... didn't want to see him," she said as I knew it was more than that.

"When you're ready to talk about it let me know, we'll even go to that ice cream shop that just open if you want." She looked up at me and nodded seeing I was trying to cheer her up.

"Right thanks Shin-chan, good luck at practice today," she said as she began to walk away.

"Thanks and good luck at dance," I said back to her as she nodded.

'Murosakibara must have triggered something inside her to be afraid of him,' I began to make my to the locker room to change and be ready for practice.

"I hate it when Oha Asa is right about everything."

Your POV

As I made my way to the dance studio I could hear the commotion inside. Making me wonder what is going on that could be causing this.

"Sora calm down it's not the end of the world!" I heard Haruto say as I walked in and see the mess.

"Calm down! If I had known this was going to happen I wouldn't have bothered to stay in a nearby school for you idiots!" Sora yelled as some of the students were trying to stay clear of the argument.

"Sora we get your upset but making it a big deal is just childish," Masaomi said as I see Ayame protecting Rika.

"What's going on here?"

"Ah Kurosaki-san, you're here," Rika said as Sora looked at me with hatred.

'Something tells me that I did something that piss him off.'

"You! This is all your fault that Rika wants to split up as dance partners!" He yells at me almost like I'm to blame for everything.

"Oh I'm sorry for putting her well-being first over yours, but since I have your attention now how about you just stop acting like a brat. Rika has always put your dreams first and now she wants to put her dreams first you get mad over that. If you hate that then there's the door and don't ever think of hurting Rika cause she's doing what she thinks is right and that putting you in your place." I said as he seem ready to punch me but was held back from Haruto.

"Sora this is Rika's choice and no one else, and you need to control that attitude of yours," Haruto said as pull his arm away and head for the door.

"Don't expect me to come back to this dump again," he slammed the door open and left. Leaving us to clean up the mess that he made, a bunch of papers, and a few broken chairs.

"He needs therapy or he'll end up in jail for assault in the future," Haruto said as he was worried about Sora.

"I'm sorry everyone this is all my fault," Rika said as she grabbed the last group pictures we took two weeks ago.

"Rika shouldn't blame yourself you just wanted a change for the good and he seems to get the wrong idea." She looked down and I noticed something that you wouldn't notice immediately. I grab my handkerchief and rub her cheek to see the bruise she had covered in makeup.

"What happened here?"

"I just trip," she said but I knew she was lying.

"It was those girls again," she stayed quiet but I couldn't stand by and let them get away with it. I took a picture for evidence and calm myself.

"Rika if they try anything like this again we'll let me say this I will not hesitate to break some bones now." She was surprised that she grab my hand and shook her head.

"Don't I don't want you to ruin your reputation because of me," she said as tears began to fall.

"It's alright Rika I won't do anything that crazy," I said as she seem worried but I started cleaning.

'At least I won't kill those three.'

Ayame POV

As we clean the mess I had to ask all students to take the day off. Seeing that it would take time to clean up the broken glass and chairs.

"I didn't expect him to get this riled up, it's almost like he had a breakup with his girlfriend." Everyone agreed as I notice that almost all but one was unharmed.

'Only the one with (F/n) in it was broken, but why only this one?' I grab the picture and took it out of the broken frame.

'Something tells me that Sora is hiding his true feelings from us, but what could it be?'

"Ayame what happened here?" Mom said as she came into the studio with her bag ready to go.

"Oh Sora had a temper tantrum so we had him to calm down, but he left us a parting gift." She sigh and saw it wasn't the first time he's done this.

"Honestly that boy, will he ever learn violence won't do him any good."

"Mom, did you forget something?" I asked as she nodded and grab her makeup bag in the back.

"Alright I'm ready now I'll be back in a few days and hopefully your father won't do something stupid while I'm gone. Listen to your brothers and stay out of trouble," she said as she hugged me and made her way out.

"Bye mom travel safe, good luck to you and uncle!" I yelled as she waved goodbye. I walk back inside and see the guys talking to each other.

"Do you think it can be fixed?" Masaomi asked as they check the stereo we use to play the music

"I don't it can be fixed, he punch it pretty hard that the parts fall out," Haruto said as I sigh.

"Seriously what are we going to do?" Masaomi asked as (F/n) came up to them.

"If you guys want I can bring the one I have at home," she suggested making us look at her.

"You have one why?"

"Well my brother's coworker gave it to him as a present but he didn't want it so he gave it to me. I don't use it much but if the studio needs one I could bring it in tomorrow," she said as I hugged her and thanked her.

"Rika will you be coming tomorrow?" I asked as she shook her head.

"I can't tomorrow I have plans already," she said as we looked at her.

"Well I hope you have fun," she nodded as we finished up cleaning the mess. I check the mirror for any damage and we miss a bullet cause there were no cracks or broken mirrors.

"Well since we're done cleaning let close up for the day and pray that he's calmed down," Haruto said as he looked at his phone.

"Yeah I have a ton of studying for the entrance exams," Masaomi said as everyone agreed.

"Well that's what growing up is about," Haruto said as we made our way out.

"Have you decided which school to go, Rika?" (F/n) asked as Rika nodded.

"I'm applying for two schools, one is Kurasuno and the other is Yosen," she said surprising us that she going to apply for schools outside of Tokyo.

"Well your smart to pass the exam I'm sure you'll make it with high scores," (F/n) said as she patted her head.

"And what about you?" Rika asked as she place a finger on her lips.

"It's a secret but once we graduate I'll let you know where I'll be going," she said as stretched her arms into the air.

"Well wherever we go let's not forget that we're all still friends," Haruto said as we agreed.

'Hopefully, Sora can learn what it means to be friends too.'

Midorima POV

The weekend passed by so quickly that I thought of calling in sick, but I still came to class. Even sitting with the guys I didn't know when I got there. I heard someone trip and saw that girl from before, Rika if I remember correctly, getting kicked by three girls. No one seem to stop them but that didn't stop one person from walking up to them.

"Didn't I warn you what happens if you hurt Rika," (F/n) asked as someone came behind her and hit her head with the tray. Any normal person would have been knocked out but she still stood up.

"Thanks now I have a reason to fight back," she said as she grabs the guy and kicks him in the stomach so hard that he hit the wall. The three girls try to fight her but she steps back and knees one of them in the stomach. The other two froze seeing their leader was on the ground.

"Guess you guys seriously want to die," she said as they step back but they trip from their own feet.

"I'm not in the greatest mood so you have two choices, either you want a broken arm or leg," they were scared by how she didn't hesitate to break their bones.

"Well?"

"Kurosaki-san please stop don't worry I'm fine," her friend said trying to calm her from doing something crazy.

"Very well, but just to make sure," she walk to the girl on the ground, seeing that she was the leader of their group, she brought her arm up and without hesitation did something to her arm. She started to scream but (F/n) ignore her screams.

"Let this be your lesson if you ever hurt or attacked Rika again, or go after any of my friends, I'll make sure no one will ever recognize your faces," she threatened as the two girls ran away she looked at everyone else but when we locked eyes she just looked away.

"Kurosaki-san come on let's get you clean up," her friend said as she pulled her away. No one said anything but kept doing what they were doing before the fight started. When the teachers came and ask who did it no one said anything or told who did it.

'(F/n) just showed us that she could do more than just give us a hard slap in the face. How did Akashi survive that same faith?'

Your POV

"Well I don't know if I expel kick you out of the school or not, but a lot of students have been harassed by that girl and her friends." The principal said as I stood in front of his desk. After cleaning up I went to confess who broke her arm. At first, he was surprised that I'm telling him directly but after showing a recording that one of the teachers and her supposedly 'tutoring', he seemed unsure what to do now.

"If you force me to apologize for defending my friend then kick me out. I won't apologize after everything she's done to many students. She was given a warning to stop and she ignored them," I stated as he sighs seeing I won't apologize.

"Normally I should expel you but seeing your grades and you never broke any rules. So as long as this never happens again I won't expel you, but you will still be suspended for the rest of the week," he said as I sigh.

"I understand," he started writing a note for me to give to my legal guardian. He handed it to me and start dialing, to what assumed, Kuroko house.

'Well, I had a good life.'

Kuroko POV

After what (F/n) did to that girl, from what Momoi-san said, she only went to the classroom and grab her things and left.

'Something tells me Ranmaru is going to hear about this,' I noticed Midorima in a foul mood again but I can only guess he's worried about her.

When class was over and we could head home I made my way to the shoe locker and to change shoes and head home.

"Kuroko," I turn around and see Midorima waiting for me. Next to him was Rika with a concerned look.

"Ah Kuroko-kun I was wondering if I can visit Kurosaki-san," she asked a bit shy.

"Sure," she smiled and thanked me as we began to make our to my house.

"Midorima-kun won't Akashi be mad that your skipping?" I asked as he followed us.

"He doesn't get made with Murosakibara and Aomine when they skip, I highly doubt he would get mad if I miss practice." I was surprised that he was willing to skip practice to see her. For the rest of the walk, we kept quiet until we reach my house. When I open the door (F/n) shoes were placed neatly inside and my grandmother was sitting reading her book.

"Tetsuya welcome home," she said as she saw I've brought company today.

"Hello grandmother I'm home, is (F/n) here already?" She sigh and shook her head.

"Well she came home early but Ranmaru was the one who brought her home. By the looks of it, they were in a heated argument," she said making worry if they're talking at the moment.

"Ranmaru left some time ago he was needed back but he seem a bit angry with her," she said as I wonder what she's going to react.

"I'll go check up on her and see if she'd calm down." She nodded as we walk to her room which was closed. I knocked and waited to see if she was up. When the door open she was in workout clothes.

"Oh Tetsu welcome home," she said as she open the door for us to enter. She seems calm but knowing her she's hiding it behind a smile.

"I see that Shin-chan and Rika came with you too," she said as she moved her bag from the chair to let one of us sit in it.

"They were worried about you," she smiled and thanked them. Rika gave her the missing notes she didn't take today and apologized for her being suspended.

"Rika it's not a big deal for me, yes I'm suspended for the week, and yes I'm ground, but was it worth it? Yes, it was," she said with a smile as Midorima shook his head.

Midorima POV

I felt ashamed that she would have a week of suspension for protecting her friend, but I couldn't blame her for doing that either. It's one of the things I love about her, she's willing to risk her future for others. We help her with the notes and showing what was going to be on the exam. It wasn't long until her friend received a message and groaned.

"I should get going, my parents have something important to tell me," she said as she gather her stuff.

"If your parents ask what happen place the blame on me Rika," (F/n) said as we were surprised that she would take the blame.

"Your my friend Kurosaki-san I'm not going to let you go through this alone,"

"I know but I would rather take the blame for you," (F/n) said as her friend gave her a sad expression.

"I'll come by tomorrow to give you the notes," she said as (F/n) nodded. Kuroko offered to walk her home which she thanked him and left. It was just us now in her room and without a second thought, I place my hand on top of hers.

"Shin-chan I'm sorry," she apologizes out of nowhere.

"For what?"

"The rumors about us, I found out that she was spreading them and trying to cause problems for me. It's one of reason why broke her arm," she said as I remember the rumors of us.

"So you found out she was spreading rumors about us, and instead of talking it out you broke her arm."

"I gave that girl many warnings to not mess with me, and since hurt not one but two of my friends that's just me going easy on her." I facepalm seeing she was being overprotective of her friends.

"You are an idiot sometimes," I mumbled as she smiled.

"Yeah well whether you like it or not this idiot is your friend," I smiled and push some hair behind her ear.

"Guess I have no choice but to make sure you don't do stupid things," she smiled seeing that I won't leave her side.

"Good I'm counting on you Shin-chan.~" I smiled and began to focus on the work in front of her.

'I know it's the wrong time for me to say it but even so, she's my idiot, at least until destiny comes in and takes her away. I just want to enjoy what little time we have together.'
