Ranmaru POV

I sigh seeing that we'll be going out of the country for another shooting again and won't be back for a few days. Just to my luck and here I was hoping to go see their first game for the Winter cup.

"If I'm lucky enough I could probably watch it on my phone Tetsu did mention they'll be broadcasting it on TV," I mumbled as I looked at my phone and see what time their match was going to start.

"Ranmaru-san everyone is ready now," Haruka said as I sigh and grabbed my bags.

"Right let's get this over with," I said as I passed her.

As we all lined up for the welcoming ceremony for the Winter cup I began to look around to see all of the other schools that were able to participate in the winter cup as well. A few were a bit taller than me but sorta around Hyuga senpai's height but that was the least of my worries right now.

"Damn it! What is that Bakagami doing?!" Coach yelled as they let us have some time before the first match begins.

"The open ceremony is already over!"

"Apparently he forgot about the time difference, he'll be here soon," Tsuchida senpai explains.

"Unbelievable," Hyuga senpai said as he hung his head at how forgetful Kagami is.

"Out of all the times he has to be late it had to be today," I mumbled as I felt like punching Bakagami for not realizing the time difference. I took a second to calm myself from wanting to punch Kagami and look at the court we will be playing.

"This is amazing," Furihata-kun said in awe.

"The inter-high Courts were amazing but this is even bigger,"
Kawahara-kun said while I notice the cameras.

"On top of that, everywhere you look are schools we've seen in books and magazines," I mention as they notice it too.

"We're supposed to fight these monsters?" They seem a bit scared but Hyuga senpai reminded them why we were there.

"We weren't invited as guests, hold tour heads high," he said as they nodded but I can tell he was also scared about this too.

'Leave it to Hyuga to face his fear even when he's scared as well.'  I notice Tetsu with his phone out and reading something on it.

"Tetsu is something wrong?" I asked as he passed me his phone to read the messages. I began to feel uncomfortable that he wanted to see us now and with no excuses.

"Alright let's tell coach before she gets mad," he nodded as we walk to let her know.

"Sorry, but could we step out for a bit?" He asked as everyone seem surprised by his request.

"I told you not to wander off, didn't I," she said as she brought out the slapping fan.

"Yes, but..."

"We've been summoned," I try to explain seeing that she would have hit Tetsu if I didn't get in the way.

"Summoned?"

"We're going to see Akashi-kun," Tetsu said as they seem surprised about this.

"The captain of the generation of miracles," Izuki senpai said a bit worried in his voice.

"Fine, but we've got a game this afternoon be back by then," coach said as we nodded.

"We won't take long, it will only be a few minutes and we'll be back. Hopefully, Kagami will be here too," I said she sigh hoping for that too.

"Furihata-kun, could you follow them?"

"Okay," Furihata-kun said as I waited for him so he wouldn't get lost. As we made our way looked at Furihata-kun and see he was a bit nervous to come.

"Don't worry we won't take too much time since I would like to avoid him as much as possible," I said as he nodded.

"Also if I act differently just know it's the only way to make them think I'm not afraid of them, so if you ever get a bit scared just stand behind me and Tetsu, alright?" He nodded as I could see them waiting well almost everyone.

"You've got a babysitter? I would expect it from Tetsu but not you (F/n)," Aomine said as he spun the ball.

"Minechin, you've got Sacchin," Murosakibara said while eating a chocolate bar.

"Satsuki's got nothing to do with this," Aomine said defensively.

"Midorimacchi, why do you have scissors?" Kise asked Shin-chan while he was on his phone.

"It's obviously my lucky item, you idiot, " he said as he opened and closed them.

"It's dangerous though, I wish you wouldn't walk around with them out like that," kise said hoping he would put them away.

"Sorry to keep you waiting," Tetsu said as I could feel Furihata-kun was terrified at how everyone was together. Kise's phone began to ring and by the look on his face, it was a message.

"Your phone's annoying, kise, is it Akashi?" Aomine said as he didn't like to be disturbed.

"It's... a text from a fangirl," he said dramatically.

"Go die!" Aomine yelled as Murosakibara tried to open his bag of chips but looked at Shin-chan.

"Mido-chin, let me borrow those scissors," he said as Shin-chan sighed.

"No," Shin-chan said ad looked at me.

"What? Kuro-chin, do you or (F/n)-chin have any?" He asked Tetsu I step a bit away from him.

"No we don't have any," Tetsu said as Shin-chan motioned for me to come closer.

"Here this is your lucky item, I figured you would want it for good luck," he said as he gave me his karate bear. I couldn't help but smile and accept his cute gift.

"Thanks, Shin-chan this will help," he smiled as we waited for the last person to show up. Even though this was normal to us I could tell the air was a bit heavy than last time. Especially since I'm seeing my ex after I dumped him.

"Why's the guy who summoned us here the last to arrive?" Kise asked as I could help but agree with him.

"There's no need to be upset, that's how he is," Shin-chan explained as I hate that he had control over us.

"I apologize that I've kept you waiting," a recognizable voice said, the same voice that used to love to listen to whenever I was feeling alone and depressed. The voice of my first love.

"Akashi-kun"

Midorima POV

I observed her reactions and see that she took a step back and cover her teammate that came along with her and Kuroko. He looked a bit scared but seeing that he's never seen us all together.

"Daiki, Ryota, Shintaro, Atsushi, Tetsuya, and (F/n). I'm glad to see you again and I'm deeply moved we were all able to meet like this. However, there's someone here who doesn't belong. I wish to speak only to my former teammates right now. Sorry, but could you leave?" Akashi said as he began to shake he seem frozen in place.

"Furihata-kun," Kuroko was about to tell him something but someone else had arrived.

"Well you're no fun, come on don't exclude us," Kagami said.

"Kagami!"

Your POV

"Hey I'm back," Kagami said as I felt my anger boil up again.

"That's all you to say for making us worry Bakagami? 'Hey I'm back' will not save you from getting by the coach what's more important is why didn't you tell us about your plans? Care to explain that Bakagami!" I yelled as he took a step back with his arms in surrender.

"Yeah, I would have told you had it not been for the time difference between us. Listen we can talk about this later," he said as I pulled his ear.

"As if I let this slide for later!" I pulled his ear hard until he began to cry from the pain.

"Listen I'm sorry and it won't happen again, and I'm sorry for making you worry," he said as I let go of his ear.

"I wasn't worried one bit the guys were so don't think I was worried about you-" I didn't notice it but seeing it now that I let it all out I notice he had a red stain on the cuff of his sleeve.

"What?"

"Noting I won't say anything until we're in front of coach 'cause I'm sure she has something to say too," I said as I realized that I lectured Bakagami in front of the guys.

"Damn she's got you like that too?" Aomine questioned as Kise laugh a bit.

"(F/n)-chin is strict with him too," Murosakibara said Shin-chan pushed his glasses up. Akashi however seem a bit mad that I wasn't talking to him or looking at him.

"First, you're Akashi, right? Glad to meet you," Kagami said but I could tell he was not happy that Kagami was here disturbing his little get-together.

"Shintaro could I borrow those scissors?" He asked as he walked down the stairs.

"What are you going to use them for?" Shin-chan asked but we all know to never disobey Akashi.

"My hair is annoying me, I've been wanting to trim it," he said as he got the scissors from Shin-chan but before he would trim his hair he walked towards Kagami.

'This isn't good.'

"First... you're Kagami-kun, aren't you?" Before Kagami could react I pushed him to the side before Akashi could cut him. Luckily it was just a small scratch but if I didn't move quickly it could have been worse.

"Kagami-kun!"

"Akashi are you insane?!"

"My, my, you reacted much quicker to save him, I'm surprised that you were able to notice that. You truly amaze me every time we see each other, it's one of the things I love about you." He says as he lightly grabs a piece of my hair before placing it behind my ear before turning to Kagami.

"In light of that display of grace, I'll forgive you this time. However, there will be no second chance next time, so whenever I tell you to leave, leave. In this world, winning is everything, winners are affirmed completely and losers are denied completely. I've never lost at anything before and never will because I always win and I am always right. I show no mercy to those who oppose me, not even to my own parents," he looked at me making me glare at him that I wasn't going to bow my head to him.

"Well, I'm leaving, I just wanted to say hello to everyone today," Akashi said as he gave back Shin-chan scissors to him.

'No that wasn't just to say hello there was more to this.'

"What?! Don't be ridiculous, Akashi! You summoned us just for that?" Aomine said we all looked at him.

"No... I actually wanted to confirm something, but after seeing your faces I realized there was no need. No one has forgotten our promise everything's fine then. The next time we meet will be on the court," he said as I glared feeling that we were just being toyed around as a piece of his game.

"(F/n) I hope you can finally see that it's pointless to run, you'll be out of time soon and eventually have to accept our fate. I'm being very generous with you and letting you be free until we need to fulfill our promise." I tightened my grip seeing how had to remind me of that promise my father made.

"You being generous don't make me laugh Akashi, I would rather die than fulfill that promise," I said as I began to walk away.

'Why did you have to blabber about that in front of everyone.'
