Your POV

I sigh as I wash my hair and body before going into the hot springs the coach suggested to go. It's only been a few days since we got qualified to go to the winter cup and ever since we haven't had a day to relax and enjoy some time to have fun. I don't blame her for pushing the guys too much she can learn a thing or two about how to relax.

'Maybe I should start getting new game strategies for the guys so we can be prepared.'

"Hey you, don't tastelessly wear your towels around your waist!" Someone yelled and by the sound of it, I knew exactly who it was.

"Swim trunk!?"

'Just what is going over there and does he mean by swim trunks?' I shook my head and finished rinsing the soap off.

"Hyuga!" Izuki senpai yelled as I was curious about what was going on.

'Did something happen? I'm starting to get curious about what is going on with the guys.'

"Huh, Kurosaki-san is that you?" Someone said as I turn and see Hanaoka-san with her towel covering herself.

"Oh, Hanaoka-san what are the odds we run into each other here?" She smiled as I clip my hair up so it won't fall into the water.

"May I take a seat next to you?" She asked as I nodded and walked into the warm water with my towel in hand. She timed her hair up with a clip and took a seat next to me.

"I notice that you and Kasamatsu-san aren't in this season, did something happen?" She asked a bit worried about our sudden disappearance.

"A small injury happen and to be safe we decided to take this season off to let it heal properly. Also Hanaoka-san you can call me (F/n), most people that know me call me by my first name," she smiled as looked at the sky. That is until we heard the commotion on the other side.

"With a scrubbing brush?!" Izuki senpai yelled as I blush.

"Seems like the guys are rowdy today," she said as I nodded.

"When you're in a basketball team it's usually not this rowdy," I said as she smiled until a bunch of girls came in giggling and talking.

"Hanaoka-san are you here for a competition?" I asked trying to avoid any problems with the guys.

"I just lost a challenge to someone today," she said as the guys scream.

"Um, should we tell the manager if everything is alright with the guys?" I shook my head knowing what is going on over there.

"I wouldn't bother I'm sure it's just my teammates getting disciplined by our coach for doing something stupid." She seem a bit confused but didn't bother to ask what would cause the discipline in the first place.

"I see so you are in a sports team at your school," she said as I was curious about what had been going on since we took the season off.

"Yeah, but who knows how long I'll play this time," I said as she seem a bit down.

"So you're quitting competitive dancing as well?"

"No, I'm just taking some time off at least until we finish the winter cup."

"Winter cup?"

"Yeah, my teammates and I got qualified to play last week so we been training like crazy to get ready. It's also the reason why we're here today to relax a bit before going back to intensive training." The door opened and coach came out to wash up and join us.

"Hey coach what was all the racket with the guys?" I asked as she sigh.

"The typical guy stuff they normally do, they were trying to peep on the girl side." She said as I sink into the water some more.

"Not to worry I took of them," she said as I was now worried if they were alive or not.

"I'm sorry to interrupt but is she your coach?" Hanaoka-san asked a bit surprised about coach's looks.

"Yep, this is Seirin basketball coach Aida Riko, a second year in my school."

"I assume your coach was a guy much more older than us," she said a bit surprised.

"Well her dad is a sports trainer and she just so happens to know how to train a person who needs to get stronger for a game," I stated as coach was a bit embarrassed.

"Seems like you're having fun in your school, I'm glad you're finally having some fun," Hanaoka-san said as I was a bit taken aback.

"When I first met you with Kasamatsu-san you had this look in your eye like you didn't even care if you win or lose. Then at the grand Prix, you had an actual desire to win, it made me wonder what motivated you to change in the last two years?"

"Honestly nothing changed, I just only stopped running away from what I love to do," I looked up at the full moon and simply enjoy the quiet atmosphere.

"Unbelievable," coach said as I feel she was still annoyed about the guys.

"Do you mind if I sit next to you?" Someone asked to coach since she was on my left and Hanaoka-san on my right.

"Go ahead"

"Thanks," I was curious about who was next to our group and noticed familiar pink hair.

"Momo-chan?!"

Hyuga POV

"We shouldn't have peeped," I said as let the warm water heal my bruise from Riko's slap.

"Of course not," Izuki said a bit mad at us seeing that he was trying to stop us and ended up getting slapped too.

"You're as lively as ever," someone said as I notice a group among the steam.

"You're Touou Academy?"

"Why are you here?"

"Why not? We just happened to be practicing in the area. We happen to decide to relax in the hot springs and you just happened to be here," Imayoshi said as I notice the guy from before.

"Please don't be so tense, we're both representing Tokyo, let's at least get along while we bathe." He said as the other guy suggested something.

"Alright then," we try to relax but the air is so thick we could probably cut it.

"I know how about we play a game, the first person to leave the sauna has to pay for a drink for the winning team. Wouldn't be fair if it everyone against each other," Haruto said as everyone smiled and liked the idea.

"Alright, you're on!"

Riko POV

"Ahhh this feels so good! My shoulders have been so stiff lately," Momoi-san said as (F/n) was surprised to see her here.

"You don't seem like you'd have that problem like (F/n)-chan and her have sometimes."

"Shut up!"

"Coach she's just trying to make you mad don't take it seriously," (F/n) said as she try to calm me down.

'What is she doing here? Actually...' I notice how her numbers.

'She's so huge! She's bigger than (F/n),' I sank into the water and began to get annoyed at how they had bigger chests then than me who just so happen to be a year older.

"Momo-chan so what's new with you?" (F/n) asked trying to break the ice since we sometimes don't get along.

"Oh right, there's something I wanted to tell you," she said as we. Oth at each other and what she said shocked me.

Haruto POV

"Hot! I can't take it anymore!" Wakamatsu yelled as he ran out of the sauna.

"Wakamatsu-san!" Sakurai yelled as I sigh.

'Pathetic it hasn't been five minutes and he runs out like a weakling,' I was annoyed that Wakamatsu caused us a free drink to the team.

"What? It hasn't been five minutes, come on, we bet drinks on this," he said as he place an arm on my shoulder but the heat kept me distracted for me to react. I could tell that a few of us were ready to tap out but didn't want. Sakurai seem like he was about to faint from the looks of it.

"Are you okay?" Kiyoshi asked Sakurai as he snapped back from almost fainting.

"Yes, I'm fine, sorry!" He said nervously.

"You don't need to apologize," he said as I waved it off.

"Don't worry about his apology he does it all the time," I said as Wakamatsu came back inside.

"I'm back!" He yelled as I sigh and pushed my hair back from my forehead.

"You're already out," I stated as leaned back to relax.

"By the way, we saw your game the other day, congratulations on making it to the winter cup," Imayoshi-san said as their captain thanked them.

"You seem to have improved dramatically since this summer, I didn't recognize you," Imayoshi-san said as I felt the tension rise again.

"That's not what you came to talk about, it's too much of a coincidence for us to run into each other here, what are you up to?" Hyuga said as if he knows there is more than us bumping into each other.

"It's true that we were practicing around here but it's not a coincidence either. We knew you were here and dropped in to say hi, one of our managers got her hands on these winter cup matchups." Imayoshi-san said as they grab the paper to see who they were going to be matched with.

"The official announcement isn't until later," I stated as they were shocked.

"What? Schools from the same prefecture shouldn't play each other in the first round," he said.

"Normally, they don't, but schools from the special bracket are an exception," I stated as Imayoshi-san smiled.

"Which means... we look forward to be playing against you, your first opponent in the winter cup is us," he said as I realized that we have two new players to play against then but one seems unwilling to share her secrets that she can only trust.

Your POV

As Hanaoka-san was confused about the conversation she try to understand as much as she could with what she knows now.

"What did you say?" Coach seem surprised about our next opponent would be against Momo-chan team.

"I like Tetsu-kun and that's why I won't hold back this time, it's too bad you'll be out after the first day, though, let's have a good game," she said as she got up and looked down on coach.

"Hold on a damn minute Momo-chan," I got and looked at her straight in the eye.

"You only won that time cause we weren't prepared but this time is different cause we have a few new tricks up our sleeves," I said as she seem unfazed by my voice.

"You're acting pretty superior, aren't you?!" Coach said as she got up and bump her chest against Momo-chan's chest.

"Don't underestimate us! My boys aren't that weak, just you wait and we'll show you!" She said with so much pride.

"I'm sure we're not the only ones who think that way either, so just you wait Momo-chan, we'll be repaying our debt in the winter cup by winning. That I can promise you," she smiled seeing how serious we are.

"Game on (F/n)-chan."
