Ayame POV
As I watch the guys do their dance practice I place my earbuds and watch the game online. Someone was smart enough to live stream the game, which allowed me to watch Seirin play today. The comments were full of everyone cheering for Seirin or asking if the referí was blind.
"Ayame-chan what are you watching?" I looked up and see Nagi looking at me curiously.
"Well a few friends of mine have a game today but I wasn't allowed to go and support them in person. So I'm watching the game from a live stream," I explained as he sat beside me and watch me.
"I didn't know you like basketball since you mostly in dance competitions," he said as I blush feeling a bit embarrassed about how close he was.
"Well I only started to get interested in it just last year but one of my dancers has done basketball since middle school. They sorta explain the who sport to me in the most simple ways she could but there are a few terms that I still don't understand." He smiled and got comfortable watching the game with me.
"So which team are you rooting for?"
"Seirin, they're the white team and my friends are on that team," he nodded trying to see the game from the small screen of my phone.
"What are you two doing?" Amakusa-san asked as he was curious about what we were watching.
"A basketball game want to watch too?" Nagi asked as I noticed something that caught my attention.
'Number 7 is covered in bruises and he's badly injured, not to mention his right knee seems more injured than the other. If he keeps going like this he'll end up just like Haruto.'
"Hey hey hey why are you two suddenly so interested in what my sister is watching?" My brother Eichi asked as he grab my phone to see what we were watching.
"Oh, a basketball game?"
"Eichi give me back my phone I want to know who'll win!" I get up to grab my phone he made sure I wouldn't reach it.
"Ayame if he finds out your watching this he'll lock you up for disobeying his orders," he said as I look away.
"I don't care," I said which surprised him enough for me to grab my phone.
"He's not the same dad that I once loved as a child, now some guy who's obsessed to beat his rival at everything. It makes me sick to my stomach that he's such an ungrateful person," I said without hesitation but I didn't care about it. I've held my tongue to say what I truly thought of our dad. As a child, I never understood why our mom would choose to compete out of the country or why our dad was always angry when he lost to shining. I guess that's why Eichi and Eiji would make sure I wasn't near dad when he was like that, they were trying to keep me safe from his temper.
"I'm going home now, seems like if I stay dad will get mad for disturbing your rehearsal," I said as I grab my things and headed out the room.
Eichi POV
When she left I felt like I failed to protect her from our father's anger and stand by her side. I promise mom that I would keep her safe while she was gone to her competitions.
"Give her some space Eichi, Ayame is in that phase when she wants to prove our dad he was wrong to do what he's done to us. In time she'll be happy and energetic like she normally is with her friends," Eiji said as I sigh.
"Yeah, let's get back to rehearsing our choreography," I said as everyone started to take their place
'Hopefully, Eiji is right about Ayame.'
Haruto POV
Ever since that number five entered, Hanamiya's been stealing more balls than usual.
"Imayoshi-san you said earlier that he's a genius, is he a genius just because he's an Uncrowned King?" I asked as he looked at me.
"No, not like that, I'm talking about his brain, he's really smart," he said as I was surprised to hear that.
"Huh?"
"How do you know that we're you guys' friends or something?" I asked feeling a bit jealous that he was talking about someone else.
"No we attended middle school together, he always did well on exams without studying," he said as I still felt a bit annoyed but he just smiled making and look at the game.
"He's that smart?!" Wakamatsu said in shock.
"So does he remember everyone moves if he sees a game just once?" I asked as he smirked making me feel a bit nervous but I don't show it.
"After seeing a game once Hanamiya can perfectly recall that game and based on that he analyzes the movements of an opposing team," he explain as I began to get concerned about (F/n) and her teammates.
"The team's moment? What do you mean?" I asked a bit curious about it.
"Seirin style for basketball is based on passing and it's pretty high-level, too. Everyone constantly observes the floor balance and makes the most effective choice, but that's the trap. Hanamiya reads all of his opponents' attack patterns and steals the ball, especially Seirin's number 5. He's a good point guard, his eagle eye affords him composed judgment and accurate passes. He doesn't stand out, but he supports seirin from the shadows. However, that precision makes him ideal prey," he explained as Hanamiya stole the ball and scored again.
"Amazing.." Sakurai said in awe.
'So this is what Hanamiya is capable enough but that knew guy what about him.'
"In other words, the first half rough play was just preparation. If they can crush them with rough play, good, even if they can't, their opponents become angry. Their attacks become simpler and easier to predict. He deserves to be called the bad boy, it's a nasty scenario," he said as he lean back in his seat.
"So the more you struggle, the deeper you fall into their trap, so that means that Seirin's in trouble," I said as he smiled.
"That sums it up," I smile as looked at Aomine from the corner of my eye.
"Well, then I'm going to place a bet on her and say that Seirin finally needs to use one of their trump cards that were kept hidden."
"Trump cards what do you mean?" Sakurai asked as I smile.
"Aomine knows after all he's never beaten her in a single game before, am I right Aomine?"
Your POV
The buzzer rang to alert us that the third quarter is over and during that time we were only able to score that dunk Kagami made. As the guys came in we had the drinks and towels prepared for them but Izuki senpai seems frustrated with what was happening.
"Damn it!" He yelled as he slammed his hands on the bench.
"Izuki.." Kogenai senpai tries to keep him calm.
'This isn't good, they've managed to get under his skin now and if this goes on Kiyoshi senpai's sacrifice would all be for nothing. That means we have only one option left,' I looked over to Tetsu and nodded to him.
"We may be able to break free if I stop playing with the team," Tetsu said as they were all surprised by his suggestion.
"What do you mean Kuroko?"
"I meant exactly what I said, you four keep playing as you have been.
"Tetsu has a point they can't keep an eye on him constantly but if he goes back to playing like before the chance of them not scoring will help us," I suggested as the coach thought about it.
"I see, it's a gamble," she said a bit worried.
"A gamble is something you win or lose, this isn't a gamble, this team can do it," Kiyoshi senpai said with a confident smile.
"He has a point why else would we be here if it weren't for everyone's hard work?"
"Alright then let's go with Kuroko-kun plan."

Hello, I apologize for not updating much I've been busy and have been communicating with my family from Mexico about my grandmother's health. As I'm editing right now I'm heading to go see her with my mother since she can't travel alone. As much as I hate traveling this is a family emergency trip so I'll try to get some editing done and post as soon as I can as well as get some chapters done. Hopefully, I can get some connection over there cause where I'm going it's hard to get service unless they have internet. So wish me luck and I'll update you guys as soon as I can.
