Your POV

After Momo-chan calms down she finally got off Tetsu and got up from the floor. Our senpais came in from running though I wasn't sure why they would run outside when it's raining outside.

"Now Momo-chan, what did you mean Aomine hates you?" I asked as she looked down in her lap.

"Well I..." she started to tear up but I place my hand on her shoulder.

"Don't worry if he hates you then I'll go personally and set him straight for making you cry," I said with a smile as she try to not laugh.

"(F/n)-chan you're honest as ever and reckless like always." She said as she smiled.

"What can I say I put others before my wellbeing, so now that I got you smiling are you ready to talk?" She nodded and began to tell me what happen.

"He found out why he didn't get to participate in the inter-high final game." She said as everyone listen to her story.

"Why wasn't he allowed though?" I asked as she looked at me.

"Cause of his injuries, mostly his elbow." She said as I see why he wasn't allowed to play.

"Well, I thought that might be it, the reason must be the quarterfinal game against Kise-kun and Kaijo, right?" Coach asks as Momo-chan agreed with her.

"That's right, you may be a B, but you're right," Momo-chan said as the coach got very defensive about her cup size.

"I guess the game against Kise-kun took a major toll on his body as well," I stated as I grab their attention.

"If the members of the generation of miracles have a weakness, it's their overabundance of talent," Tetsu said as everyone was surprised by this piece of information.

"The generation of miracles possess strength far greater than any high school student. However, because their bodies are not fully developed, their bodies cannot keep up with their talent. Because of this, they must restrict the use of their power. If they don't, they'll end up hurting themselves." Tetsu explained as I couldn't help but remember the time I  got sick.

"Aomine-kun was reckless when he faced Kise-kun. I asked the coach to not let him play but Aomine-kun was furious, but the coach forced him off the starting lineup halfway through the game. But he just found out about it..." she started to shake and I couldn't help but place my hand on hers.

3rd POV

Flashback

"What do you think you're doing?! You shouldn't have done that!" Aomine yelled at Momoi while outside the gym. The rain was falling pretty hard that they stood under the roof of the front entrance.

"But you'd just play recklessly again against Akashi-kun, wouldn't you? If anything were to happen..." she was cut off by Aomine yelling at her.

"I told you not to worry about that! Since when did you become my guardian?! Don't show your ugly face around here again!" He said making her shocked at what he just told her that she threw her books at his face.

"What's your problem, you ganguro!? See if I care!" She began to run in the rain.

"Satsuki! Hey..." Aomine yelled but didn't go after her. As Momoi-san ran past the gate she passed Haruto as he came from the convince store nearby.

"Momo-chan?!" Haruto seem surprised that she ran past him. As he wanted to go after her but figure that she need to go home. Once he reach the gym he saw Aomine there in shock

"What's up with you?" He asked as Aomine looked at him.

"Satsuki... I made her cry," he said as he got hit in the head by Haruto.

"What the hell was that for!?"

"You idiot pervert! You just let your childhood friend run in the streets alone in the rain?!" He yelled as he notice the look in Aomine eyes.

"Tch get inside I'll go and find her," Haruto said as he pushed him into the gym.

"Haruto senpai," he seem surprised that he wasn't being punched by him. Haruto was even more surprised to hear him call him senpai.

"Oh don't get too comfortable once I know Momo-chan is safe then I plan to punch the life out of you." He said as grab his umbrella and began to head where he last saw Momoi-san.

End of flashback

"That's what happen," she said as she told them what happen between her and Aomine. She could tell that that (F/n) wanted to go over and punch Aomine square in the face.

Your POV

'I swear next time I see Aomine he'll have more than Haruto to deal with.' After hearing Momo-chan's story I wouldn't blame her for getting Aomine out of the game but even an idiot knows when to pull back from a game.

"Wait a minute, don't you like Kuroko? Who cares if Aomine doesn't like you?" Kagami asked as I looked at him with 'are you serious?' look.

"Yes, but that's not the problem. It's different from how I like Tetsu-kun. I'm worried about him, and I can't just leave him alone." Momo-chan said before she started to cry in my arms.

"Uh, sorry," he try to apologize but everyone stared at him.

"You made her cry," Everyone said as I glared at him.

"Bakagami you seriously can't read the situation she's in."

"And you can?"

"Of course I can, Aomine is like her idiot brother that she wants to make sure he doesn't screw up his life. It's like my relationship with Tetsu, we see each other as a brother and sister." I explained as he finally understood what he did wrong.

"You lack delicacy," Tetsu said as he patted Momo-chan's head which caused her to look up at him.

"It's okay, Momoi-san, Aomine-kun won't hate you over that. He knows you were just worried about him. So let's go back together, I'm sure Aomine-kun is looking for you." Tetsu said as she jump out my arms into his.

"Kagami, that's how you do it," Hyuga said as I rolled my eye by Kagami stupidity.

"Shut up, I get it!"

"Sure you do that's why you chose basketball over a girl." He flinched as I walked past him.

"Do you have to remind me about that right now?!" He whispered yelled as I ignored him.

"Momo-chan can I ask you something about the inter-high." She looked at me and I took a deep breath to get a few answers about the few games we missed.

"I know Aomine didn't play in the inter-high, but do you know why the other two didn't?" I asked as she looked down.

"This is just my conjecture, so I can't say for certain, but Muk-kun... I mean Murosakibara-kun only listens to Akashi-kun and he doesn't want to play against him. I believe he sat out the Rakuzan versus Yosen game for that reason." She said as I began to wonder why he would do that.

"What about Akashi?" Teppei senpai asked her as she looked at me.

"He is not interested in the championship," she said as making everyone surprised.

'Then what is he interested in other than the championship?' Thought as I kept listening to her explanation.

"Not because he doesn't want to win but because his victory is assured. After his team beat Touou he asked if he couldn't have beaten us more easily if he had played. He said only one thing in reply, that it wouldn't have been interesting." She then looked at me with concern.

"He came to me to give you a message, he said stop avoiding the inevitable and accept your place beside him." She said as I looked away.

"That bastard, he has the nerve to say that and not apologize to his actions." I felt so much anger building up that I wanted to punch someone so badly.

"(F/n)-chan?"

"I'm fine Momo-chan, don't worry about me."

'I will never understand what goes through his mind.'

Riko POV

After some time the rain finally stopped and the sky cleared up. I looked over at (F/n) and debated if I should tell her that I know about her past.

"Well then we'll be off," Kuroko said as (F/n) grab their umbrellas.

"We'll make sure that Momo-chan gets home safely senpai," (F/n) stated as Hyuga nodded.

"Okay, be safe you three." They nodded and Nigō followed beside (F/n) and Kuroko.

"That was quite the surprise," Hyuga said as we all saw them leave together.

"Anyway, that conversation..."

"Yeah..."

"The generation of miracles is full of monsters," Hyuga comments as I remember my conversation with Momoi-san.

'It's best if I don't mention it to the others, at least not yet. She'll have to tell us when she's ready herself.'

Finally, I could update I feel more alive again. Who would have thought getting sick would prevent me from writing. Anyhow, I'll be posting a Kagami b-day cause it was supposed to have been in August but as some know I got sick and couldn't even finish or edit the chapter on time. So yeah it should be posted in a few hours or so. If I don't have to go out to get errands done. I hope you guys enjoy the chapter and I'll see you guys in the next chapter.
