Rika POV

"Rika-chin I'm hungry can we get some snacks?" Mura-chan asked as I sigh.

"Mura-chan did you finish the ones I packed already? Those were for the three of us," I stated as he apologized for not sharing.

"Why don't you two go grab some more I'll be here looking at the games," Tatsuya said as I worried that he might get dragged into a game but Mura-chan snacks should come first or he'll be in a bad mood for the rest of the day.

"Alright, we'll be right back just don't get lost, alright?" He nodded as me and Mura-chan began making our way to a convenience store that was a few blocks away from the games.

"Rika-chin can I ask you something?" Mura-chan asked as I nodded.

"Sure what is it?" I asked as we wait for the crossing light.

"Do you like Mura-chin?" I blushed as looked away.

"Is it that obvious for everyone to see?" I asked worried that the rest of the team knows my secret.

"No, but all the girls in school have given him love letters or chocolates. Even the lunch ladies too, but you act differently around him or when the three of us are together. So I'm just curious if you like him like the rest of the girls." He said as the light turn for us to cross.

"Mura-chan if I do like him I'm not ready to let myself be in a position where I might get hurt again," I stated as I remember my time with Sora and his insults.

"Why not?" He asked as I looked up at the sky.

"Cause the past my come back and repeat for me again. Someday you'll understand but for now, just remain your innocent and cute self." I said as he pouted.

"I'm not cute, cute is for girls." He said as I smile.

"Okay how about adorable then?"

"I take it back I'll accept cute." He said as I couldn't help but laugh at how easy he is to tease.

Your POV

"Bakagami this is all your fault if we're late!" I yelled as we all ran to see the game.

"It's all cause Kagami said he was hungry again!" Furihata-kun said as Kagami ate his corndog.

"I bet Seiho already won!" As we reach the court I saw that the game was over but notice that Seiho lost the game.

'Wait how is that possible it took everything we had to beat them in the inter-high, but they lost in this small competition?'

"What... what are you doing here?" I looked over to see Kagami in shock about the guy in the court. He turns around and I notice he has a necklace that looked exactly like the one Kagami is wearing.

"Himuro Tatsuya!" He looked surprised as well to see Kagami was here.

"Taiga?"

'Wait do they know each other?' As he turns around and started walking towards us at the same time started speaking English.

"Well, well Taiga, what a surprise to find you here." He said sarcastically.

"You don't look surprised at all, keeping the usual poker face?" Kagami said as he started speaking English too.

"I ain't keeping a poker face, it's my nature." He said in a calm voice.

"I apologize but is it Himuro? Are you friends with Kagami?" I asked as everyone seem surprised by my English.

'I guess Ranmaru was right learning English would help me someday.'

"Oh I can speak Japanese, I just lived there for so long, that I'm still not used to it. Though I am surprised that your English is very good." He said with a smile that can charm any girl.

'This guy something about him tells me to keep an eye on him.'

"We're not friends, I guess you can call me his brother." He said as we were all surprised.

"I'm sorry but did you say, brother?" I asked as he nodded I turned to Kagami and he seemed to notice I was going to question him.

"So Kagami when we're planning to tell us you had a brother? You get mad when I keeping secrets from you but you don't bother telling us this very important secret." I said as he seems to be shaking but everyone looked at him wondering the same thing.

"Well?"

"Alright, I'll tell you just stop with the sweet and innocent smile I know better to know when you're mad." He said as he began to explain their relationship and their promise.

"Oh I see you agree to play against each other without any handicaps but before you could you moved from America to here and therefore couldn't keep your promise. Am I missing anything out of this?" I said he shook his head.

"Nope you got it pretty much correct," Himuro said as I looked at Kagami.

"Kagami you are an idiot and not just any idiot, no your stupidity is so stupid that all idiots can't even compare to you," I said as I was getting a headache with his stupidity.

"I get it I'm an idiot," he said as I glared at him.

"I was disappointed then, but I came back to Japan this year, and now I attend Yosen high." He said as felt that the life in me was sucked out.

'Yosen high that means he probably with Murosakibara and Rika-chan?' I try not to show any kind of fear due to what Murosakibara did.

"I thought we'd meet eventually, so let's fulfill that promise today," Himuro said with a serious face. He began to head to his team but I get the feeling there's more at stake for Kagami here.

"Tatsuya!"

"What?"

"I... you..." Kagami began I sigh and gave Kuroko a look for him to do something. Though it was a bit funny what he did to knock Kagami out of his world.

"Ow! Nigō! You brought him?!" Kagami yelled at Tetsu as I held my laughter in.

"I don't like it when you're indecisive, plus would you prefer that (F/n) would have pinched you instead?" Tetsu said as he places Nigō down and he began to head towards me.

"What?!"

"I understand the situation, in any case... I think it's your fault for going easy on him." Tetsu stated as he seems surprised.

"I... if I had won..."

"What you wouldn't be able to call Himuro-san your brother and winning when he was off his game probably isn't what you wanted, right?" I stated as he looked away.

"Don't be selfish Kagami, I know by experience that no one wants their opponent to go easy on them in the game or sport they love," I stated as I remember Aomine before he changed.

"Besides, even if you're not brothers, it's not as though you would change," Tetsu said as he seems to understand.

"Your right, I like basketball because I enjoy facing strong players. Even if Tatsuya's my opponents, thanks Kuroko, (F/n)." Kagami said as he faces us both.

"I've made up my mind, if we go head to head, I'll play as hard as I can, no matter what, Tatsuya!" Kagami declared.

"Sure, I look forward to playing you today," Himuro said with a confident smile.

"By the way, sorry, who are you?" He asked as I figured that everyone forgot about Tetsu's lack of presence.

"I'm Kuroko Tetsuya, nice to meet you." He said as he seems happy to meet him.

"So you're...you've found an interesting partner, Taiga. Even got yourself a nice cute girlfriend too." He said as we blushed.

"We're not dating!" We said at the same time.

"If I wanted to date someone I would rather date Kise and not this idiot here," I said as I look away.

"I don't know if I should take that as an insult or compliment," he mumbles as Himuro laugh at our denial.

"I'm sorry I guess she was right your too honest with your feelings but can't be easily read." He said as I looked at him surprised by his statement.

'So Rika must have told him about me,' he began to walking away but Kagami stopped him.

"Hey, Tatsuya you know about Kuroko and (F/n)?" Kagami asked as stopped.

"Yeah a little, there's actually an interesting guy on my team too. As well, someone, she may have saved once before." He said as he looked at me but not in a bad way more like he's saying 'thank you' kind of way.

'So she did tell him about our frendship.'

Rika POV

I sigh as we carry the three bags of snacks for Mura-chan. We reached the spot where we last saw Tatsuya and didn't see him anywhere.

"Ah, I wish the flavor had a little more punch," Mura-chan said as he ate the pocky stick.

"I guess that would sell better but the more important question is where is Tatsuya gone." He said as looked around and didn't see him.

"He might be watching a game, let's go check if he's there." He suggested where there was a huge crowd. I nodded and followed beside him making sure I didn't lose him too.

'Geez, this is why I didn't want them to go sightseeing.'

"Oh, I think I see him," Mura-chan said as I was glad he found him.

"I think he's playing in a match too." He said as I froze on his observation.

"Mura-chan there's no time to waste he can't play in an unofficial match without permission from the coach. He'll get in trouble and if he gets in trouble then all three of us will get in trouble." I said as he seems to not care.

"Why should I stop him?" He asked as I looked at him.

"It means the coach won't let you have any snacks during practice," I stated as he held his unopen snack and headed to the court. They threw the ball up in the air but Mura-chan stops it by placing a maiubo on top of the ball.

'I knew he was tall but I didn't know he can place a maiubo on top of a ball.'

"Sorry, could you wait a minute?" He said as everyone was shocked at what he just did.

"You're late Atsushi," Tatsuya said as caught up to them.

"Sorry we got lost," Mura-chan said as a sigh.

"More like we couldn't find you," I stated as he apologized for his disappearance.

"It's been a while, murasakibara-kun," I turn and flinched to see a light blue hair with matching eyes looking at us.

'Was he always there? Wait this guy I've met him once before, but I don't remember where.' I looked behind him and notice someone standing there with a cute puppy.

'It can't be,' she seems to notice me and smiled.

"Kurosaki (F/n)"

"It's been a while Azumane Rika," she said as I felt overjoyed that she remembered me.

'It really is Kurosaki-san.'
