Your POV

"A new pass?" Coach asked a bit surprised about Tetsu's passing ability.

"Why haven't you two said anything before?" Hyuga asked a bit surprised at it as well.

"Only a few people can catch it," I said as they seem to get what I was saying.

"But in his current condition, Kagami may be one of them. However, just passing to Kagami won't work until the end. We have to break free from Takao-kun and use normal passes as well."

"But maybe we can do it." Izuki senpai said as he smiled.

"Besides my are cramping up," he said which made me a bit concerned about that part.

"What does that mean?" Koganei senpai asked as everyone just smiled seeing him like that.

'At least Koganei senpai is funny when we need to lift our spirits.'

Ranmaru POV

"I wonder what was going on with them? They seem to be some in a disagreement and now it's like nothing happen." Reiji asked as I looked at the scoreboard and back to them.

"I guess that redhead giant said something to make them snap," Camus said as he watches.

"It seems they resolved the problem," Ai said as I beginning to worry about the outcome.

'This the final quarter and they're behind by 14 points. I wonder how they're going to pull this off.'

Kuroo POV

"Well, I guess that redhead will get in trouble after the game is over. I just hope he doesn't get slapped by kitten after this." I said as I nervously remembered the last time she slaps me in the face.

"Why it's not like she can slap that hard?" Yamamoto said as I shivered.

"Well she may not look like she can but her slap can hurt enough to leave an imprint for a few days."

"Wait so that's where you got that slap from. I remember you had that imprint for a few days." Kai said as I smiled.

"Yeah, I learned to never get her angry  and to never call her shorty ever since then." I looked at the court and see number 11 is back but they kept her in to keep playing.

'Seem like they come up with a plan now. I'm curious what they're going to do.'

Ayame POV

"Looks like kuroko back in but with Takao, in the game, he's not much of a trump card," I said as Masaomi seem to be thinking about something.

"Maybe they have a plan? I see they still have (F/n) in the game that means they got something that might work." He says as I seem a bit worried about what this plan is.

'Even if he plays it will be a repeat like the first with Takao. Plus the side effects of overusing her coping skills will take a greater toll now.' I clenched my fist but felt Masaomi grab my hands.

"Trust them I'm sure they will win so stop worrying about it." He said without looking.

"Masaomi... your right," I smiled as I felt myself relax and watch the game go on.

Sora POV

"Hey, Akashi have you heard? One of your teammates is up against two kings today." I said as we finished our workout routine with our teammates.

"I've heard but I highly doubt that they'll go down without a fight. Plus they got my fiancee with them so they can't lose." Akashi said as took a sip of his water bottle.

"I hope they do lose makes it much more entertaining to see their hopes being crush down on,"  I said as he smiled.

"True if they do lose it be much easier to keep them in line but I'm more curious about what they can do. Especially when they find out her little secret of that coping ability she has." He said as he got up.

"Secret? You mean there's something that no one knows about her." He smiled and looked at me.

"If she overuses her coping ability too much. She won't be able to have enough to move and her body will collapse." He said as I was surprised about this.

"So in other words she gets very weak and frail. Even though she's strong and healthy the effect of her coping abilities will take a huge toll on her body." I said as he kept walking but I couldn't help but smile.

'Now I'm curious to see what her team can do without her.'

Your POV

Seem like Kagami already used up one of the jumps we have reserved. Yet as long as Shin-chan doesn't take those long-range shots without knowing if he can jump or not we still have a chance.

'Alright, Tetsu time to see if your strategy can work against Takao.' 

Unknown POV

"Hey, Momo-chan you said Aomien called in sick today right?" A boy with brown hair and brown eyes asked the girl with long pink hair. She nodded seeing that they are both managers for the team.

"Well I know it's none of my business but I saw Aomine in the court laying on the stage. I thought you should at least know before the team comes back from the game." He said as she sighs seeing how lazy her tan friend has become.

"He said he was sick why would he be there when theirs a game today?" She said a bit disappointed.

"Who can say by the way I heard that Kuroko and Kurosaki are playing against Midorima today." He said as they walked together towards the gym.

"Eh really but (F/n)-chan retired didn't she?" She asked surprised by the news.

"Yeah she did but her fan page is reporting that she is back, and by the looks of it the team they're in they're evenly matched game." He said as she looked at his phone.

"Amazing Dai-chan needs to know this." She said as she was about to leave but before she could he place a cold blue popsicle on her face.

"Here I thought you should have a treat after all the hard work your putting into the club." He said as she smiled and grab the treat.

"Thank you so much Kotaro senpai." She said as she smiled at the blue popsicle.

"I told you to call me Haruto or Haru for short." He said as she patted her head.

"Sorry, but thank you Haru-chan." She said as she left to find her friend

'Some things never change and I guess that's a good thing. I wonder what the outcome of this game will be. Plus I wonder how Kurosaki is doing along with the others.'

Time skip

Your POV

We only have two minutes left and we finally caught up, but it looks like Shutoku isn't going down without a fight. Plus there's Kagami who's at his limit in making those high jumps can't make another one. Not only that we only behind two points.

"(F/n)!" Hyuga senpai yelled as I made a move. The guy marking me to follow but was blocked with Kagami. I didn't hesitate one bit and took the shot for a three-pointer. I'm glad it made it in and with three seconds left on the clock, we might be able to win.

'Three more seconds that's all we need... and then I can rest for the next few days.' Before I knew it Shin-chan has the ball in his hands.

"Let me tell you why I am determined to shoot from so far away. It is not simply because my shots are worth 3 points. It's not unusual for comebacks to happen in the last seconds of a close game. Sometimes they are the result of a disparate shots I will not leave it up to chance!  That is why I end games with a buzzer-beater! That is what it means to do everything humanly possible!" He said as I try to get to him to stop his next shot, but only to get blocked by their captain.

'This isn't good! If he makes the shot then Shutoku wins!' I try to get around him but he seems to be focus on making sure I don't get anywhere closer.

As Shin-chan takes position to make the shot Kagami jumps one last time. Yet it was a fake jump making sure that if Kagami jump he won't be able to jump again. Yet something surprised everyone and that was Tetsu. The buzzer finally went off meaning the game was over. Everyone yelled all happy that we won.

"Game over!" They announced as I felt a lot of the pressure finally out of my system. We all lined up to thank for the game as I stood up in front of Takao with Tetsu on right and Kagami on my left.

"81 to 82 Seirin game!" They announced as I looked into Shin-chan eyes for a second.

"Thank you very much!" We all yelled and headed back to our teams to pack up.

'Championship here we come!'

Kise pov

We finally got out of the stadium only to have rain pouring. We ran into Ayame and Masaomicchi. Since senpai needs to make sure his brother was alright we decided to walk together. We grab our umbrellas out and started to head towards a close-by restaurant. Seeing that we haven't eaten since we left for the game.

'I guess the rain isn't going to stop today. The championship leak is next, which means I won't be long before the play Aominecchi.' We reached the restaurant and took our table and looked to see what looks good to eat.

"Ayame since it's our off-season can we at least eat some meat?" Masaomicchi asked as Ayame pouted.

"Fine but I expect you to lose that bully when your 100% better." She said as smiled.

"Yeah, I get it coach I hear you loud and clear."

"Why don't you guys date already." They both blushed at senpai seeing that he could tell they like each other.

"Yukio don't say things like that out of nowhere," Masaomicchi says all read as Ayame was blushing bright red.

"Honestly you two grew up together right? So there should be any doubt you guys liked each other more than just friends." Senpai said Masaomicchi stayed quiet.

"Can we change the topic already and decide what to eat."

'They really are brothers only that they can handle some situations differently.'
