Ayame POV

We will have a short intermission for the second half. Please return in one hour.

I sigh in relief after seeing that they got full marks again. Yet I've never seen them dance like this not since when they first started competing together. I guess the game yesterday inspired them to win.

"Oh man, I could eat a full course meal," Masaomi said as they came walking but it seems that (F/n) changed shoes. Which is good since if she's on her heels all day she'll get more pain.

"You know you shouldn't eat a lot or you won't wake up for the next round," I said as they sigh.

"Well, shall we get something to eat I'm sure your both hungry." They nodded and began to walk towards everyone else.

"Tetsu you did bring the bento boxes I made right?" (F/n) asked Kuroko which he nodded and showed two huge stacks of bento boxes. We went to the lobby and find a space for everyone.

"Since I know Kagami was coming I sorta prepared this last night so I hope you guys like it." She said as she places them and spread the boxes out.

"Woah there's even lobster here what can't you do?" Koganei asked as she smiled.

"Sadly even I don't know what I can't do." She said as she gave everyone grabbed a plate.

"Yes, I get to eat (F/n)cchi cooking again!" Kise said all happy that he gets to eat her food.

"Well everyone dig in."

Kagami POV

'Man her cooking is amazing. Even the bento box from last time tasted amazing.' As I took another bite but I looked at her and see her eat some rice balls.

"Hey, why are you just eating rice balls? "

"Oh, we can't have a full stomach." She said while she took another bite.

"Why is that?" Hyuga senpai asked.

"Well, it was a long time ago when me and Ayame use to dance. When we eat a lot our stomachs get a little bigger. And since the girls need the dress not to rip and for us guys, we can't pull any muscles. So to avoid that we eat half of our meals." Masaomi said as he ate a rice ball.

"Plus one time one of the dancers puked on the floor." (F/n) said she took another bite.

"Yeah that was disturbing but lucky for us we won that competition easily," Ayame said.

'Well, I guess this is just a normal meal for them.' I looked to see her look at her phone but she seemed sad about something.

"Is something wrong?" She seem to snap out and shook her head.

"No I'm fine really just a bit tired that's all." She said as she looked at her phone again.

'Is she waiting for someone?'

Ranmaru POV

After two hours of trying to leave we finally arrive at the stadium. Since Reiji invited STARISH and Haruka we had to wait for them to get ready. Well, at least Haruka got an idea for our next song and solo songs while waiting. When we arrive I see they just were about to announce the finalists.

"Woah so many people."

"Looks like they're in the final round. We should have left earlier." Camus said a bit irritated at how late we arrive.

"Oh look I see her! (F/n)-chan!" Reiji screamed but it seems she couldn't hear us.

"This is amazing I've never been to a dance competition," Haruka said as I began to find a seat. I found some close to the rails and took a seat near the edge. Soon everyone took a seat where they could see.

They began to announce the final seven dancers. When I heard their names I couldn't help but smile that they made it to this round.

"Way to go (F/n)-chan! Masaomi-kun!" Reiji yelled as the other were curious about the pair.

"She's so pretty and it's hard to believe your siblings," Haruka said as I smiled. I wouldn't blame anyone if they saw us together here. Yet they don't know we're very much alike.

'She's grown up a lot since mom died.'

Unknown POV

I was sitting near a dark area where it's hard to see someone. I had someone keep an eye on my beloved empress. If she thinks she can end things with me then she's wrong. My word is absolute and no one can defy me not even her.

"Young master would you like me to deliver the package to her?" My servant said as I smile.

"No, wait after the competition I want to see how much she has changed since we last talk." He bowed as I looked beside me.

"I'm impressed you didn't argue on joining the basketball team. Even after you quit dancing." The guy beside me looked away from his book but went back to reading it.

"Dancing was getting boring without her competing against. Plus what's the point of it win or lose you can't beat the best." He said as I smile.

"True but our team is the best."

Your POV

Final heat quickstep

I was panting keeping my composure I looked up to Masaomi and I couldn't help but smile. I never knew that I would be this determined to win a competition against the Hyodo pair. Still, I want to make this season the best one we have ever had together.

"Hey (F/n) I need to ask... What's your reason to dance?" Masaomi asked as

"Simple it's the only thing that helps me to never give up." Masaomi smiled and once the music began he got into position. The melody of the song almost gives us an energy boost like no other. Suddenly I feel free from everything.

'If it wasn't for dance I'm sure I would have lost myself into the darkness. I'm grateful to have discovered dance and to everyone who helped me get back up.' Before I knew it we had finished our final heat and I look up and see Masaomi calm and collected face. We took our final bow and head back to the others once we reached we both collapsed on the ground.

"Hey, you guys alright?" Hyuga senpai asked as we both smiled and began to laugh a bit. Which caused everyone to worry about what's wrong with us.

"This was the best competition we ever had!" Masaomi yelled as we both laugh.

"Definitely our best one out of all our competition we been in." Agreeing with what Masaomi said.

"I think they both lost their minds," Yukio said as we both control our laughter.

"Well, then it's not over just yet they still have to announce the winners," Ayame said as we both got up.

"Yeah but still no matter what win or lose I enjoy today's dance," I said as I smile.

"Yeah, that goes the same for me," Masaomi said as Ayame smiled.

"Well first sit here (F/n) let me fix your make-up a bit."

"But my makeup is fine why fix it?"

"I think she just wants to hug you like the fan she is," Masaomi said as Ayame began to panic.

"No that's not it at all I just thought she should look her best that's all." We both smiled at her.

"Ayame thank you for everything you've done for us," I said as I bow to her in respect.

"Please don't bow to me it's weird." She said as I got back up and smiled.

"Well, we better head to where the others are to stand," Masaomi said as I nodded and head back.

"See you guys after." I waves back and walked beside Masaomi.

Ranmaru POV

They began to announce the winner as I hold my breath. Hoping they wouldn't be called.

"In 6th place No. 33  Aido Kaede and Yamamoto Emi." They announced as the couple went up and to their place.

"In 5th place No. 59 Nifumi Sai and Nifumi Yui." They went up and took their spot next to the other dance couple that took 6th place.

"In 4th place No. 12 Cross Jiro and Rose Ino."

"They got to be in the top three spots. I hope they don't get called next." Reiji said as he closed his eyes and began to chant for them to not be called.

"In 3rd place No. 20 Akagi Gaju and Akagi Mako." I began getting nervous it just two pairs left.

'Whoever doesn't get call are the winners.'

3rd POV

As both males looked at each other in the corner of the eye they looked back straight ahead. As they waited who would be called next everyone seem nervous due to waiting who would be.

"In 2nd place.." everyone clenches their fist when they were about to announce the 2nd place winners.

"No. 25 Hyodo Kiyoharu and Hanaoka Shizuku." Everyone seemed like time stopped as they took the time to process.

"ALL RIGHT!!!" Ranmaru and scream out of joy knowing that his little sister had won first place.

"Those are my dancers!" Ayame yelled as she stood on top of her chair with one foot on the table.

"The grand winners No. 45 Kasamatsu Masaomi and Kurosaki (F/n)." Masaomi was so in shock that he still had to process what is going on.

"Masaomi!" (F/n) yelled out of pure joy and lean in to kiss his cheek. Which brought him back to earth.

"(F/n)!?"

"As promise, if we win I'll return to court and be the queen of the court again. Are you ready to be able to see my old self come back out of retirement?" She asked with a motivation that he smiled and place his hand out for her to take.

"Of course I've been waiting for you to go back and be the number one basketball player again." He said as she places her hand on top of his. They began to walk towards other pairs but stop in front of the Hyodo pair.

"Hyodo I can't wait to dance against you again. Next time we dance against each I hope it will be in the final again." Masaomi said as he stretches his hand out for him to shake.

"As do I and next time we won't lose." He said as he shook Masaomi hand.

Your POV

"The winners will now do the honorary dance. The dance is Viennese waltz." They announced as we hear the music being and out of habit we smiled and began to switch our roles in the dance. We enjoyed this dance out of happiness and hoped everyone would enjoy and try dancing as well. That was our wish that people would try and have fun dancing.

'Starting tomorrow I'll be a true member of the Seirin basketball team. I just hope that our team will reach high in the sky.'
