Ayame POV

"The nerve he has pointing at her does he not know the consequences of messing with the queen?" I said as Masaomi laugh nervously.

"Probably not but this is the first time I've seen someone else try to irritate her. By the look of things she's almost there all she needs is a little push." He said as I began to take note of her physical state. Unlike dance where she's the partner and follows her leader. In basketball, she becomes the leader and makes everyone bow down to her.

'I hope she'll be alright.'

Your POV

Everyone seems surprised that Kagami found his weakness. Well, it's sorta true Kise has never beaten me once, and can't copy Tetsu's misdirection that well. At least when he's not opening the door.

"It's true Kurokocchi and (F/n)cchi are the only two styles I can't imitate. But what does that change?" Kise admitted as the announce the 1st quarter was over.

"It changes everything. Well, bring you to tears in the second quarter." Bakagami said while walking back to where we sat at.

'I am so angry at him now.'

"Are you alright? You seem a bit mad?" Tetsu said as I try to calm down.

"I'm fine I just think I should teach the redhead some manners that's all," I said as I look at the scoreboard to see an 8 point difference.

"What the Hell are you doing?! They're closing the gap!" I heard their coach yell as I clam down a bit more.

"Yes sir!" They yelled as their coach told them their fundamental suck and some other things.

"I see yeah that could work. Kagami it looks like you've finally cooled down." Coach said as I draw my attention back to our team.

"No I was always-" he was about to say he was cool but he was cut off by us.

"You were really pissed!" Hyuga, Izuki and I said at the same time.

"But Kuroko and Kagami your coordination will be key. Can you do it?" Coach asked

"Yeah... probably.." He said unsure about himself. I was about to punch him but somehow Kuroko beat me by jabbing his side hard. Which I know from experience are painful.

"You bastard where did that come from?" He asked as I sorta feel bad for him since Tetsu would do that to me whenever I'm unsure of things.

"You want to beat Kise don't you?" Kuroko asked as he looked down on him.

"Of course I do!" He said as he jabbed him back but unlike Tetsu's strength, his must have been stronger.

"Let the second quarter begin!" They announce but I need to watch the game more carefully. Now that I know almost all their basic moves I can give it back to them twice as strong. The question is can Kise keep up with my new style?

Masaomi POV

"It looks like things are finally getting interesting," Ayame said while we kept watching.

"It looks like Kuroko can coordinate with Kagami as he does with (F/n). But I think they still need work on it." I said when Kagami tries to pass the ball to Kuroko but ended up missing.

"Idiot." I could hear what (F/n) said as she facepalms.

'Her body language says she's ready but she now needs a reason to be in now.' As we kept watching Kise passing Kuroko but Kagami stop him allowing Kuroko to do a back tip and allowing Seirin to get the ball.

"Amazing they might beat Kise if they keep it up," Ayame said as I smirk.

"Yeah"

Your POV

'Looks like they're finally able to combine their moves to stop Kise.' You kept watching as you tap your foot being anxious to join the game. You finally got your reason and motivation to play. As you see Kise going for a three-point shot Kagami uses Kuroko head to boost his height. This allowed Kuroko to cover the lower part while Kagami took care of the up top.

"Fast break!" Kagami yelled but as he said that Kise turns too fast that he hit Kuroko in the head.

"Kuroko!" Coach said as I didn't waste time to go to his side.

"Referee time out!" They announce as I reach his side and help him to a sitting position.

"Tetsu are you alright?" I ask as I see the blood coming from where he got hit.

"Tetsu can you get up?" I ask as he nodded and got up but I made sure to help him.

"Are you okay, Kuroko?" Hyuga senpai asked as he came running towards us.

"I feel lightheaded." He said as Hyuga looked to see his injury.

"Get a first aid kit!" I yelled as coach nodded and went to get one.

"Are you okay?" Kagami asked.

"I'm fine. The game is just getting start-" Kuroko said but somehow fainted before he could finish his sentence.

"Kuroko!"

"Tetsu hang on okay!" I said as I gave him a piggyback ride to where the bench was at and Ayame and Masaomi waiting for us.

"Lay him down here Masaomi place some mats so he can rest on the floor," Ayame said as she began to clean the blood off of Kuroko.

"Riko senpai can you get me the ointment please as well as the bandages," Ayame said as coach got what she was asked to get.

"Will he be alright?" I ask worriedly about any medical problems he might have.

"I don't know after the game take him to the doctor this is the only thing I can do for now," Ayame said as she patches up Kuroko head.

"What are we gonna do?" Hyuga asked.

"Kuroko can't play anymore. Well, have yo make do with the players we have left." Coach said as the other guys seem unsure about her decision.

"Make do?"

"Isn't this gonna be tough without Kuroko? "

"Don't worry about it. Coach I can sub in for Tetsu." I said as they seem shocked that I'm willing to play.

"Wait are you serious?!"

"More serious than ever. Kise hurt Tetsu and I'm not the type to let things go so easily." I said as I took off my shirt to show my jersey number.

"Alright, then Kagami and (F/n) your going to mark on Kise. The second years will be on offensive core. It's only the second quarter, but we can't let them get too far ahead of us. I know it's early, but it's game time, Hyuga." Coach said.

"Okay," Hyuga senpai said as I could sense the change in the air all of sudden.

"Kise will just copy you, so don't play offense Kagami. Focus on defending. Do everything you can to stop Kise from scoring. (F/n) do whatever you can to win this game." Coach said as she seems to know what I was thinking.

"Understood coach."

"Are you sure that will work?"Kagami said as I turn to face him.

"It'll be fine Bakagami. Have some faith in our senpais." I said but he seems unsure.

"But..."

"Like she said it'll be fine, dumbass. Listen to your seniors once in a while or I'll kill you." Hyuga senpai said as I hold in my laughter.

"Hyuga senpai your defiantly my favorite on the team," I said as he smiled at me. As they blew the whistle to tell us time out was over we heard Hyuga senpai talking to himself.

"What can't the first years show more respect for their seniors like her. Get on your knees!" I was confused but I was glad he doesn't think of me like that. I should thank him when he comes back.

"You're showing your true colors, captain. Don't worry about him. He s always like that during clutch time." Izuki senpai said as I was curious about this clutch time thing.

"What do you mean?" I asked just so Kagami won't say something stupid.

"When he speaks his mind, he won't miss many of his shots. Leave the offense to him. Kagami you just defend like your life depends on it. (F/n) do what you need to do were counting on you." Izuki said as I smiled and nodded.

"Right."

"Member change!" They announce as I step on the court.

'It has been a long time old friend. Even so, they need my strength to win. I'll do whatever I can for my team.'

"Seems like I can finally take that title away from you now. Good luck Queen of the court." Kise said as they resume the game.

"Trust me you're going to wish you hadn't hurt Tetsu."

Kagami POV

As we started the game I manage to pass the ball to her and we were able to match quickly. It's almost like she became like Kuroko she was doing all his moves as he does. Even when she went up against Kise he couldn't react quickly.

"Captian!" She was able to pass the ball to him. Once he caught it he went for three points.

"Take that." He said as he made the shot.

"Nice shot captain." She said as she smiled.

"Let's keep it up!"

"Right!"

Time skip

Kise POV

She's still the most amazing person I know. She's the only person who can copy Kurokocchi misdirection and do it perfectly. Yet every time I've tried to copy her I ended up missing each shot. Almost like her moves are being protected by some unknown force.

Yet it looks like her team doesn't have the same stamina as her. Leaving her to do more work than she normally does. And by the looks of it, it's starting to take effect on her now.

"Tired already? What happened to the fighting spirit you had back then?" I taunted her but I guess it wasn't a good idea. She threw the ball in the air and took a few steps and jump to hit the ball. It was strong enough to make it to the basket.

"Don't underestimate me yet I'm just a bit rusty. It's been a while since I played with a team. Just so you know that move I did was something I copy from a different school. Let's just say their moves were quite useful when I don't feel like running." She said as she gave me her cold glare. Even to this day, those eyes are like the eyes of a killer.

"She stronger and scarier than I thought she would be." Kasamatsu senpai said as he looked at her.

'No this is nothing compared to back then. She was stronger than Aominecchi whenever she went against each other. She only trying to suppress her real strength she has hidden.' They blew the whistle letting us know that someone is changing a member.  I looked to see Kurokocchi coming back. (F/n)cchi was standing close to Kagami.

'So she's still going to be playing with us a bit more. Yet how long will she hold back her true strength?'

Your POV

"Welcome back enjoy your nap Tetsu?" He just gave his usual poker face he has on and looked at Kagami. Almost like they're talking telepathically since they didn't say a thing.

"Let's go," Kagami said

"Yeah" Kuroko agreed as I smile.

'Somehow this brings back old memories of the good old days.'

Ayame POV

As the game went on I felt really happy. For the first time in such a long time, I'm seeing her play as she did before. The real her is now out there thanks to Kuroko and I guess Kagami too. All her passes and shots were perfect like back when I first saw her play.

"Woah seriously?" Someone began to question if this is actually happening.

"80-82?"

"They're catching up!" Someone yelled as I smile seeing her play real heard now. She's not holding back now she using all her strength she has right now to help her team. As Hyuga caught the ball that Kuroko passed to him he made a two-pointer shot. Making them tie.

"They're tied?"

"Seirin in finally caught up!"

"I guess Kise is finally getting a wake-up call." I heard Masaomi say as he looked serious. I didn't get what he meant but as I looked back I notice how she changed. Almost like she senses something different in the air.

"Kise!" Yukio yelled as Kise seem to disappear and reappear behind Kuroko. Since (F/n) wasn't near them she couldn't even help them stop Kise.

'No way he's even stronger?'

"I won't lose. Not to anyone. Not even to Kurokocchi and (F/n)cchi." Kise said.

"This isn't good," Hyuga said but I guess the queen isn't giving up either.

"Give it your all, everyone. This will be just like the first quarter from here on out. A back and forth run-and-gun game!" She said as they began to run and get the ball.

"Hurry up, defense!" Hyuga senpai said as we were on edge to see who will win. Riko senpai began to give them orders on what to do.

"Come on seirin let's go!" Masaomi began to cheer for them as well which was shocking to me. Since he doesn't like going to games a lot I never thought he was the cheering type.

Masaomi POV

This game is getting more intense by the second. No one is letting up and there are less than fifteen seconds left on the clock. As I see my brother go for the shot I see (F/n) block it as Hyuga senpai caught it and threw it to Kagami and Kuroko.

"Don't let them through!" Yukio yelled as Kise went to stop them.

"Kuroko!" Kagami yelled as he passed it as Kuroko.

"Kurokocchi can't shoot! With only two of them, he'll have to pass it back to Kagami!"

"Don't underestimate them, Kise," I said as Ayame seems to know what I meant.

"He shot it?" Everyone was waiting to see if it would make it. At that moment Kagami jump.

"No, it's an alley-oop!" Yukio yelled as Kise jump to stop him.

"I won't let you do that! Kise said as he began to sink.

"I don't need you to return the favor! Because this ends now!" Kagami yelled as slam dunk at the same time the buzzer went off.

"They did it they won!" Ayame said as she jumps into my arms and I spin her around.

"Haha, they won!"

'Well done seirin we saw her alive again. Now we have to start our plan to let her stay in your team again.'
