Nobody ever noticed her and she was okay with that. She never wanted to draw attention to herself. Just the idea of that frightened her from the world. To her the world was a dark and dangerous trap.

She was always used to being alone. Five years ago, her parents passed away in a car crash so she lived on her own (because her 19-year old brother was never at the house).

Star went to a prep school in a small town called Amirsville. Her school was rivials with the school that her only two friends went to. Apart from her friends, Star was considered and outcast and a loner. She never said a word to anyone or ever had the intention to do so.

Even with her emo style, she was never noticed. Styles like that in a prep school tended to cause comotion but not for her. It was if she made herself invisible to society. She had long straight black hair with pink streaks and always wore black makeup. The only negative was that the uniforms restricted her from wearing the clothes that she likes, including band t-shirts.

Star was the type of person to bottle up her feelings and not share anything with another living soul. Even her two friends believed that there were secrets deep beyond her surface. She showed no emotions as if she was frozen in time.

But there was one day when this all changed.
