A/N Actually I will do this first because I feel like this is more important lol. Also, I'm no doctor here so like idek what I'm writing myself. I never intended on making Kuga date the best friend because that would just be too cruel lol.

"Her ribs are completely shattered and it damaged her lungs..."

"Wait what do you mean by that?!" Kuga shouted.

"Please prepare yourself,"

"Is there anything you can do to help?" He asked.

"Well, if you can find someone who is willing to donate their lungs within the next two weeks then we might have a chance, though the surgery may or may not be successful. Please think through it before you come back to me." The doctor replied and left the room. Kuga watched the doctor leave the room. He then turned his head to you and grabbed onto your hand so tightly that alone can possibly kill you. He heard footsteps behind him and saw (B/F/N) near the door of the hospital room. "Kuga-san I... I-"

"What are you doing here? You're not welcome here... Please leave," He said 'calmly'.

"I know, I'm sor-"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE SORRY?! (B/F/N), YOU ALMOST KILLED (F/N)-CHAN!"

"I... D-didn't mean to..."

"I have nothing to say to you. Please leave."

"Ku-"

"JUST LEAVE! AND PLEASE DONT LET ME SEE YOU AGAIN!" Kuga screamed. (B/F/N) shivered slightly in fear and quickly left the room.

"Kuga-san... Are you okay?" Tsukasa asked his friend in a slightly worried tone.

"I'm fine senpai,"

"I know what happened to (F/N)-chan, maybe you could just take a break off school just to calm down,"

"No Tsukasa-senpai, I'm fine. Really." Kuga replied. Tsukasa sighed and patted hugs gently on his shoulder before leaving. He decided to visit you again today and went to the hospital. When he entered your hospital room he saw the doctor standing next to your bed, writing something on a clipboard. "Doctor! How's (F/N)-chan?!" Kuga asked as he ran into the room.

"Oh Kuga-San, what great timing! I just needed to tell you something," the doctor said.

"What is it?" He questioned anxiously.

"Someone has offered their lungs to (L/N)-san," The doctor replied. He was so happy he couldn't even move nor talk. Who would be so nice to offer their lungs to (F/N)-chan? Whoever it is, I want them to note that I'm really grateful. He thought. "But please note that the surgery only has a 50 percent chance of success so please at least be prepared for the worst case scenario." The doctor said which snapped Kuga out of his thoughts. He just nodded at the doctor and the doctor left the room.

Today was the day of your surgery. The surgery light went on and he waited anxiously outside. The surgery was longer than he expected. Seven to 12 hours? He woke up and the lights suddenly went off. Surgeons came rushing out of the surgery room, carrying you on a hospital bed. "Wait! How did the surgery go..." When he finished the sentence the surgeons already went somewhere else. The doctor walked up to Kuga and put his hand on Kuga's shoulder. "Don't worry Kuga-san, (L/N)-san's life is in not danger. The surgery was a success." And with that the doctor left.

Kuga silently walked up to your room and saw you lying in bed with a lot of drips connected to your arm. At least she's okay... He thought.

When he walked back to his Totsuki dorm, he found an envelope on his bedside table. "What is this?" He mumbled. He ripped open the envelope and took out the letter inside.

Dear Terunori,

By the time you read this, I would have already been gone. I'm sorry I couldn't live up to your expectations and I'm terribly sorry that I hurt (F/N) so much even after she's been so kind to me. That's why, in return for her kindness, I decided to offer my lungs to her (sounds disgusting right?). I know, I've been an idiot, I wasn't thinking right and then that happened. I was jealous, jealous that you gave so much attention to her. I thought, I knew you longer than (F/N), why do you still like her more than me? Isn't that selfish of me to think that way? I can tell how much you need (F/N) just by looking at you. So please, live on without me, and please forgive me. Ah I'm sorry, this sounds so cheesy. Haha don't worry about me! I'm going to be watching over you two like a creepy guardian angel.

Again, I am terribly sorry for what happened. I hope you will forgive me someday.

Months past, and you were finally released from the hospital. Kuga and Tsukasa went to the hospital to pick you up.

"Oh my god, fresh air!" You shouted as you held your arms wide out.

"I can tell you've been craving to go outside for a long time," Tsukasa laughed.

"It's good that you're alright," Kuga smiled.

"Yeah..." You whispered.

When you got back to Totsuki the Elite ten decided to hold a welcome home party for you. You were so happy you could've sworn that was the best day of your life. Everyone greeted you and talked to you. That was the best thing you could've hoped for.

The party was still going when you decided to take a break by walking outside and you sat on a bench nearby. Kuga followed behind you. "Hm? What's wrong (F/N)-chan? The party's still on." He said as he sat next to you.

"I'm fine, I just wanted fresh air once in a while." You said as you gazed up at the stars. "Also, I've been wondering for a while now, but do you know who offered their lungs to me? I really want to thank them somehow." You added. Kuga hesitated for a whole before he replied. "I don't know either," He laughed nervously.

"Oh, is that so? I wonder what they're doing right now." You murmured.

"They're dead you know." Kuga said bluntly.

"Oh! Um right! Also, where's (B/F/N)-chan?"

"She... Uh... Went back to America," Kuga lied. You didn't reply.

"Come on Terunori-san, let's go back to everyone together." You grinned happily at him as you quickly grabbed his hand and dragged him as you ran back to where everyone was. A tint of pink formed on his face as he gently smiled back.

"Just drop the honorifics." He mumbled.
