A/N I nearly wrote Nikumi ahaha XD and also I decided to make reader-kun here a male. Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to be sexist or homophobic, it's just that I thought a male will suit this scenario more than a female. Actually I think I'm just being homophobic ;-; I'm very sorry.

You remembered those words clearly. Those words were the last words your childhood friend said to you with a smile that could melt any cold person's heat before you left to (insert country) for Junior High (or secondary school whatever you want to call it).

You came back to Japan to attend to Tootsuki Academy where you could hone your cooking skills.

You were walking around the school when you heard some banging sounds. Due to curiosity you peered over the corner and saw a tanned blonde girl pinning a guy with a weird hairstyle to the wall. The guy looked scared so you thought that they weren't a couple.

You were about to walk up to them when the blonde turned around.

"What do you wa-- (Y/n)-kun?!"

"Y-you know him?" The guy with the weird hairstyle shyly asked.

"Shut up!" The girl said letting go of the guy, "I'm letting you go for now but next time it won't be that easy," she growled as she let go of the guy who scurried away.

"Nikumi-chan how long has it been?" You joked.

"Hey don't call me that! And yeah its been three years I think? I don't even remember,"

"You've grown more violent throughout the years I haven't seen you," You laughed.

"Excuse me?" A anime vein popped on her head.

"A-ah sorry," You laughed nervously scratching the back of your head. "So what did that guy do?"

"He didn't want to hand over the room," Ikumi stated.

"Oh, do you want to go somewhere?" You asked changing the subject.

"Uh yeah sure! Where?"

"I don't know your choice,"

You and Ikumi were walking to (name a random place) in silence.

"Uh... Do you remember the promise you told me before I left?"

"Ah! Don't remind me of that please, its embarrassing," She said blushing. You chuckled at her response.

"Still as cute as ever," you murmured.

"What?"

"Nevermind, but I won't forget that promise!" You laughed.

Of course I won't forget the words my first love said to me
