Payback from a friend who slightly pissed me off today.

You had a brain disease. The doctor told you that you wouldn't be able to hang on longer unless you did the surgery. But the percentage of success was pretty low. Your parents looked at you with grey faces.

"(Y/n)-chan are you ok?" Your mother asked worryingly.

"Yeah, I'm fine mom! Promise!" You replied cheerfully, forcing a smile.

"Well, we will give you some time to think about this (Y/n)-san," Your doctor explained.

"Thank you very much Dr. (insert name)," Your mother said then stood up and bowed. You followed your mother's gesture and bowed too before you left the hospital.

"(Y/n)-chan, you're back! Where have you been?" Isshiki called at the top of his voice and practically pounced on you.

"Ah, nothing important I just went to visit my mom," You lied, prying him off. "So, when is your Shokugeki?" You asked changing the subject.

"Oh that? It's in a month,"

"Hm... Should I go spectate?" The truth is, you have your surgery on the same day as the Shokugeki.

"Of course, and also, could you please taste the dishes I created?"

"Wow already? Yeah sure!" You said, following him into the kitchen where there were three dishes laid out on the table. "Which one should I try first..." You mumbled picking up the fork. The first dish was a simple looking fried mackerel. You took a piece out of it and saw delicious sauce pouring out of the mackerel, the aroma filling your nose with a sweet sort of smell. "Never knew you could make these," You joked. Isshiki smirked and then gestured you to eat it.

"IT'S GOOD!!!" You squealed.

"Thank you very much~" Isshiki bowed to you and you giggled.

You finished all three dishes and decided that the first one was the best. "Ok! Isshiki-kun I should go back to my room now to put some stuff back so bye!" You waved and ran to your room.

You stood in your bathroom as you brought out a packet of pills. You dropped three pills onto your hand, slipped them into your mouth and gulped them down using water. You started breathing heavily and fell onto the ground as the words your doctor said to you replayed in your mind.

It's ok (Y/n) you can do this, you're strong. I'm sure you can make it through.

You thought to yourself and stood up walking towards the bathroom door. You laid on your bed thinking about what would happen to you.

Today was your surgery; it was also the day that Isshiki had his Shokugeki. You lied to Isshiki and told him that you had a check up to do and may be slightly late.

Your parents waited for you outside the hospital, you held onto your good luck charm as you entered the surgery room. "Ok (Y/n)-san please wear this, it would make you go to sleep during the surgery so you wouldn't feel pain." The surgeon instructed. You just did as (he/she) said and put on the mask (I don't know what they're called and I don't have wifi so I can't search it up). You started breathing slowly into the mask as you thought of your last words.

If I went back in time, is it possible that this would have never happened? If I hadn't met you that day, the world might have turned out to be a dull place. That one-day was so usual and unexciting... But when I met you... Even that one-day that was so ordinary and uneventful... became that one-day that was so dazzling... I'm sure you will still remember that tomorrow right? So please...
