How did I get here, I thought looking around me as darkness slowly closed in on all sides. How did I wind up back here again, In this same dream looking around as everything vanished , including my parents, looking at me as the life drained from their eyes.

 That's easy, I've been stuck in a lab since that day waiting, waiting for the arrival of a hero to break me free from these chains.

 Then I'll make sure no one is ever hurt by him again, the man who killed my parents...Kai Chisaki a.k.a. "Overhaul". Now I wonder what tests they will run today.

DEKU P.O.V

I looked at the clock, as it ticked away the seconds. I wanted to be at home, watching some Naruto or some Black Clover. Yet here I was in class.

 I dozed off until our teacher had an anouncment. "I want to pass out these career aptitude forms, but we all know that you guys want to be HEROES!" said Mr. Oguro, the teacher. "We have two applying for the Hero Course at U.A., Katsuki Bakugo and Izuku Midoriya" said the teacher.

 A lot of kids whooped when they heard that Bakugo was going to apply to U.A., but for me, well, some said I'd do great, someone told me to prepare my funeral, and my best friend, Bakugo looked at me and reminded me of a day, long ago when we were still four, that one day we told each other we would be the two best heroes in the world.

 But, that was also the day that a villain had destroyed parts of Shizuoka Prefecture, including where I lived, I lost my parents in that incident. I don't blame the heroes for not being able to save everyone, I blame myself for not being able to save them, even with my small quirk.

[Analyze- the ability to scan an opponent and instantly know their weaknesses and strengths]. It would work in combat, but I don't have the strength to stop a person who has been powered up by their quirk, even after doing strength and combat training for three years. 

     -After School-

Hey, Bakugo! "Yeah Deku?" Bakugo replied. I'm heading home early man. "Ok, but you might need this" he said as he handed me a red and blue key that said "ALL MIGHT" in bold, yellow letters.

 Thanks, I can't believe I almost forgot my key to the house. "Ok, see you at home Deku" Bakugo said, giving me a smile as he said "Oh and did you forget what day it is" Bakugo said. Nope, I replied. It's Aunt Mitsuki's Birthday, right? "Yep" Bakugo replied as I walked out the door. I stopped by my locker and grabbed my sparring equipment and bokuto. Well, time to head home, I thought

-Later that day-

Well, I have to get a present for Aunt Mitsuki while its still day, I thought as I walked to the nearest S-Mart. As I was walking I heard sirens, and saw that there was smoke coming out of an alleyway. Heroes were on the job, but it looked like none of them could get close because there was a lot of fire.

 The cause of the fire was a slime villain, who had a hostage. At first I thought it was Bakugo because of the fire, but I looked closer and realized it was a girl. She had onyx-black eyes, and raven black hair in a spiked ponytail. What can I do, I thought. The heroes can't get close, that slime villain is causing damage to the area, and that girl is going to die.

 Now how do I save her and not get recognized, I thought. Wait I know, I'll use a disguise.*puts on his motorcycle helmet and then rushes towards the slime villain*"Hey, kid wait its dangerous" said 'The Punching Hero, Death Arms'. I used analyze on the slime villain, and learned that his weak points are his eyes.

 I reared back my fist and used my deadliest move, Bolt Fist. The villain flinched, but then he captured my arm. I thought I was done for, until I heard a whooshing sound, I then heard a voice loudly proclaim "ITS OKAY NOW BECAUSE I AM HERE!" I knew that voice, and so did everyone else.

 It was the number one hero, my inspiration as a hero, All Might! I see that I have to defeat you again, Slimevol. said All Might.

 "Oh sludge" said The Slime Villain, Slimevol. All Might readied his fist, but instead of hitting the slime villain directly, he used the air to blast him into the sky, where the villain blew apart, and was soon contained. Right after that, the person I rescued asked me my name, I told her that I'm The Guardian.

-Fifteen Minutes Later-

I had finally reached my neighborhood, but I then heard someone say my name behind me, I freaked out because the person behind me was All Might! He asked me if i wanted his quirk, at first I was surprised because normally you can't give someone your quirk.

 I asked him why, and he said that he needed a successor because he was dying. I was shocked, because if he was dying, then why did he still look normal. I was about to ask him that, but then he burst into a cloud of steam.

 After the steam settled was a man who looked like All Might, but was skeleton thin. WHAT!!! I said suprised, as he lifted his shirt showing a deadly wound. He told me he had got it five years ago (the destruction of Shizuoka Prefecture).

He said that the ultimate evil had given him that wound. He told me that he wanted me to have his quirk because I had the qualities of a true hero. He also told me that the ultimate evil, All For One, tried to kill me that day because of my father's quirk, [Total Mastery- The ability to copy any physical technique or martial arts].

 He told me I have to do more strength training because even though I am already in good shape for a  kid my age (15), I still have to train my body to contain the energy of his quirk, One For All. I told him that I would be glad to be his successor and that I would bring him honor. I got home and decided to record another song for my cover channel RebelWolfCovers. No one knew that I was the popular cover artist known as RebelWolfBoi.

I put out the cover later that night and rested well. The next morning, I saw something on the news about the heroes All Might, Endeavor, Hawks, and Kamui Woods and how they had found a secret lab, along with some people who were being tested on. I finished my breakfast and headed towards Dagobah Park to start my training with All Might.

IAN P.O.V.

They decide to test my endurance today, holding me underwater for almost thirty minutes. They knew that my quirk could make a shield, as well as shockwaves.

 [Element King- The ability to control elements, some can use elements as a shield, sword, or even a pulse attack]. They also knew that I could only keep up a shield for twenty to thirty minutes at least.

 I wished that someone could free me from my chains. I wished hard, praying for a hero. I couldn't control my quirk, so I had no way to really organize a breakout. They made us all fight once, but now there are only four of us left here.

 My power was trying to tell me something, but I couldn't understand it. I was being put back in my cell when there was a huge explosion somewhere in the building. I felt the power surge through me, and it released in a huge pulse killing about two minor villains. I didn't want to kill those guys, but I was glad that someone came to save us. I freed the other three people who were taken by him.

 One of the heroes came through the wall and then carried us to safety. The hero who saved us was All Might! He said that he was angry that kids were being used for quirk testing. He took us to the hospital where we rested. He soon left, mumbling about being late for training. I soon fell asleep.

-Ten Months Later-

DEKU P.O.V.

After ten months of hard training, I was ready. I could control 20% without breaking any bones, thanks to what I liked to call Exoskeleton(confident deku's Full Cowl).

 I was ready for the entrance exam. Me and Bakugo arrived and started heading towards the test site, but then Bakugo tripped over a rock.

 He was about to fall when he started to float. A girl with brown hair and big eyes told him that falling on the day of a test wouldn't be good luck, so she used her antigravity quirk to make him float. He told her thanks and good luck to you too. He told me to get ready for the test.

We walked in and sat down next to a boy with bright red hair. He introduced himself as Eijiro Kirishima. A teacher got on stage and explained the rules to us *same as the anime*. We got out to the field and waited for the test to start. As soon as the gates were open, I ran through.

 Present Mic told everyone that heroes don't wait for the word GO! After that, everyone started forward. After twenty minutes I was at 150 points, but little did I know some thing big was coming... (PLAY THE MUSIC FOR THE FIGHT)

I felt the ground shake under my feet. I looked for the source, and then I saw it. It was the 0 pointer. The one that they said to avoid. Well, I can see why now, Its a giant mecha.

 I saw people running from it. I looked around to see if anyone was hurt, then saw Bakugo trying to lift rubble off that girl who helped him earlier.

 I was honestly scared because the giant mecha felt like a true villain. I remembered the words that All Might said to me, and then channeled One For All, going into Exoskeleton Mode. I jumped into the air, fast as lightning, and then took down the robot with my Bolt Punch 2.0.

Everyone was shocked by my strength (including myself). I felt glad that I saved people from getting hurt, but then, gravity took over and I started falling fast. I realized that I had gone over my limit and broke my legs. I fell on a foam mattress and soon lost consciousness. 

I woke up in the school infirmary, looking up at the faces of Bakugo, that brown haired girl, and the girl I had saved from that slime villain. I had a very dry throat and rasped out that I needed some water. Bakugo took a glass of water and poured it on my head.

 He said "You scared the hell out of me Deku." I told him that I didn't mean to, and that I was just trying to protect my brother Baku. "Um, excuse me?" said the black haired girl I had rescued ten months ago. "Yeah?" said Bakugo.

 "I want to thank your brother for saving me from that slime villain ten months ago" she said. I asked her how she knew it was me. "Because of your voice and your actions" she said. I told her that its surprising that she remembered me. She then left the infirmary...blushing?

 I realized that my shirt was gone, probably destroyed...

 "Wait, she knows that you're The Guardian" said Bakugo, who knew my vigilante disguise too."Apparently",   I told him . I was cleared to go home and waited for the test results to come.

-Four Weeks Later-

"DEKU!" Bakugo yelled from downstairs. "What?" I responded. "THE RESULTS ARE HERE!". I was excited. I got downstairs really fast. "Well, open it" I said to Bakugo. *the results are similar to the anime except Deku has 230 points and Bakugo has 220 points*

IAN P.O.V. -Eight Months Ago-

I woke up from my sleep, discovering that I had actually gone into a coma and they still hadn't found Overhaul's other lab. I went through therapy to gain strength alongside this kid named Izuku.

 He was preparing for the U.A. Entrance Exam. I asked him why he wanted to be a hero, and he responded with "because I want to protect others". I felt a connection to this kid, like someone meeting their clone or something. Why do I feel like this? 

 <FLASHBACK>

"Help!" someone cried out. "All you had to do was give me your quirk" A faceless man said. He was in a ripped tuxedo. All around him were these strange wires, like strings of pure darkness.

 He didn't notice the boys. "Stay here Izu" said the older boy, who had messy black hair held back with a red headband. "But onisan". said the younger boy, who had green hair with black lowlights.

 "I'll be fine". said the older kid"Now run! he said to the younger boy. "Overhaul, are you sure that you don't need any of these quirks for your experiments" said the faceless man. "I'm sure, old man" said the one called Overhaul.

 "What about that boy over there, hiding in that trash can" said the faceless man. "How could he see me here, I haven't moved at all" thought the older boy. Then a surge of energy cleared the area around them, leaving the older boy captured by Overhaul and the younger boy rescued by the hero All Might. "Save onisan" the younger boy cried. "I'm sorry young Midoriya, but your father asked me to get you out of here.

<FLASHBACK END>

IAN P.O.V.

I remember now.

I remember my brother, who escaped thanks to All Might's help. I stayed so my brother could escape. That day, my quirk awoke, and destroyed Overhaul's right arm. I was put in a cell, next to a little girl named Eri, but two days later she was moved to another lab.

-Eight Months Later(Day of the Exam)-

I got dressed and left my apartment, where I had been living with a strange man named Yagi Toshinori. I was gonna ace this exam. I hoped that my brother would be there, although he might not remember me(the power surge locked away most of the memories in the neighborhood that day). I could control my power now, so nobody would ever get hurt by my powers. I arrived there right on time to see a boy floating next to a boy with green hair. "That's Izu, next to his best friend, Bakugo" I thought. "Hi" I said to them "I'm Ian" "Oh, hey Ian!" Izuku said. "I'm Katsuki Bakugo, nice to meet ya" said Bakugo.

 I prepared myself and went to the directed area. There was a fake city that was used for the test. I saw Izuku run ahead right after the gate opened. I didn't want to be left behind so I started running too.

 Twenty minutes after the start, I had reached 70 points when the ground started shaking. I saw what was supposed to be the 0 pointer, and then I saw a gust of wind heading straight towards it. I figured it was someone's quirk because of the green lightning, but then I noticed it was Izuku. The robot was destroyed with one punch, but then pieces of the robot went flying everywhere.

 I saw a person trapped under some rock and right before a robot part landed right on top of her I used a Wind Element slash attack that I called Wind Claw. It sliced the robot debris to extremely small shreds. After I saved her I ended up with 163 points, reaching fourth place on the leaderboard.

I said goodbye to my new friends at the end of the exam and went home. It was quiet at home, because Mr. Yagi was already asleep. I settled into my matress and let my exhaustion drag me into the realm of dreams(sleep).
