[Zane's POV]
     As I walk out of my room, I see Gemma exiting her room.
"Hi Gemma, how are you doing?" I ask, feeling cheerful and rested.
"I'm fine, but I work up at midnight feeling weird. I'm probably just homesick," Gemma answers.
"I'm sorry. I'll go get you some soup!" Nya said, walking into the kitchen. Gemma half-smiles.
     Then Jarem looks at her weird. Suddenly Gemma doesn't look so good. Jarem walks up to her, looking kinda worried, and Gemma falls to the ground. Jarem steps back, looking very worried. Gemma screams. "Gemma!" Skylar yells. Gemma slumps, like she has fainted.
     "Uncle Wu! Gemma's down!" Lloyd yelled. "What? How?" Sensei yells, running in. "Nya went into the kitchen, and Jarem walked up to her and she fainted!" Cole says, watching Jarem like a hawk with his ghostly eyes. Nya walked in, set down the soup, and ran over to Gemma.
"Woah, what happened here?" She asked. "We'll explain later, Jarem and Zane, do you know what happened?" Jay asked.
"I'll read her thoughts," Jarem says. "You can do that?" Kai explains. "Yeah, you see I-"
"We don't care how you do it, JUST DO IT!" Kai yells. Jarem walks up to her, and starts concentrating. His eyes glaze over. "She's thinking about darkness. Why in the world is she thinking about Darkness?" Jarem yells. "It's probably all she can see," I explain. "Oh yah, it's hard to think for myself when I'm staring into other people's heads. Oh wait- she sees light!" Jarem says. "NO!" Kai says. Skylar nudges him, and says something in his ear. He says something back, blushing. "Not that light," Jarem explains. "So she is waking up?" "Yah! Jarem exclaims. And then, Gemma stirs.
