WELCOME TO ANOTHER DAY AT DAYCARE!

Almost entering through the front doors of the daycare, Goldy feels an arrow go though her arm.

"Ow." She looks around. "Who did that?"

She looks behind a few of the bushes. "Ow! What's that for! Stop." She finds out it was unicornman. Goldy blushes knowing she's gonna have to confess sooner or later.

"Haha, you okay? Oh, nice necklace by the way."

"What? Oh yeah! I-Im fine! Thanks."

She runs a safe distance away from him, to the pathway.

"Try to kill me with your bow!"

"Oh? Really."

"Yep! If I can't pvp, might as well run and dodge the best I can. You'll never stop meh!"

"Ok then."

He was able to shoot Goldy a couple of times. She was at half health. Goldy allowed the barrier to surround her and the arrows that came flying forward came flying back.

"Woah!" He had to dodge a few so he wouldn't get hit. "How'd you do that?"

She ran to him in excitement and crouched by him.

"Goldy. Am I seeing things?"

"Nope!" She holds the heart towards him. "This is gonna help get back at Tina and Ryan."

"What else can it do?"

"Shoot lasers, make me fly-"

"What?! Goldy, I don't like the sound of this."

"Why not? They literally can't touch me anymore! And when I got this, they said I can do a lot more things but it's a secret."

"Its just- it's giving me a bad feeling. Where did you even get that thing anyway?!"

"Haha! I'm not telling!"

"Goldy!"

"What!" She whines. "This is like the ultimate revenge ever! It's only when they attack me, that's it. You have me to promise to not tell them. Ok?"

"But-"

"Pretty please?" She gives him the puppy dog eyes.

"Oh- Okay."

"Yay!"

"I'm gonna be in my room for a bit. So bye!" She says running to her room.

"Gonna plan some kind of evil attack or something?"

"Pfffft, No!"

Goldy sits in her room for a while, just resting. Trying to take in everything from last weekend. She puts on her crown and lays on her couch. About ten minutes later Ryan comes barging through, saying her name ten times fast.

"What!"

"Goldy we have a problem."

"Oh, is this bro talk?"

Ryan talks about how he wants to break the news to Tina about how they're not officially dating. She was confused, literally anyone would think that their dating. He even talks about going in dates with her! He's probably just denying it.

"But here's the question, do you like her?" She asks with uncertainty.

"That's irrelevant!"

Yep. Definitely denying it.

"So what should I do?!"

She tells Ryan how he has to tell Tina the truth. He doesn't seem to like that idea but he comes up with a plan to lock her up in the Slingshot Squad jail cells.

"Just be ready in case she breaks the bars or something." Goldy says calmly.

"Wait- breaks the bars?! How?!"

"She's a girl! I'm a girl and I know this. Girls are nuts."

She's not wrong there.

"Ya know what this sounds like a bad idea-"

"No! No, no, no, no, no." She interrupts.

"Maybe I should just keep pretending because- this sounds like a really bad idea!"

This is starting to get frustrating. He needs to face his problems instead of running away from them!

"Stop being a wimp! Man up!"

"I can't man up! She's more of a man than I am!"

Goldy laughs.

"Yeah. C'mon let's go!" She breaks two blocks of her windows, prepping him to visit Tina.

"Nope!" He runs away from her. It took a minute but she found him hiding behind his couch.

"You're not pulling my leg are you?"

"No, no! I was just stretching!" He lifts arms up from from behind his head.

"Alright listen to me!" Goldy stands determinedly in front of him.

"It's either you deal with that girl, your 'girlfriend.' Or you tell her, and you're a free man."

Ryan thinks for a moment.

"You know what, I'll handle this Goldy, you stay here. If I need you, my code word is gonna be CAWCAW!" He shouts.

"Ok I gotchu."

"And tell unicornman too." Ryan says before leaving.

"Alright, Ill tell him." She leaves her room and walks to unicorns basement. She walks in on him doing something on his computer.

"Hey unicornman!" Goldy yells.

"Huh? Umm hey goldy." He turns around.

"Whatcha doing?"

"Superhero stuff- and don't jump on the pc please."

"But it's very jumpable somehow!"

He sighs. Goldy looks what's on his computer.

"On... Minebay?"

"Hero's go on minebay too!"

"Haha! Yeah Yeah whatever." She sits up on his desk. "I just... wanted to tell you... that- Ryan said to look out for his code word!"

"Code word for what?" He asks.

"He said he's gonna scream 'CAWCAW!' If He needs help. He said something about telling Tina about how their not actually dating-"

"Oh yeah, he told me about that when he came in. Not the code word part so thanks for telling me."

"No problem bro! Heh, I feel bad for him."

"Tell be about it." Unicorn smirks.

"He's more likely getting an earful today."

"I bet."

She goes towards the couch and lys down on her back, staring up at the ceiling. She internally asks her necklace to show her memories of her and unicorn. Goldy felt unsure if unicorn actually liked her or not.

She didn't want to feel stupid if it wasn't true.

And it did. The necklace showed her a few memories. That's another thing it can do apparently.

In this first one, they were playing a game.

"Sometimes at night I think about this wonderful person and I think she's really great."

"Ok yeah." Goldy responds.

"Yeah, she's got amazing hair." Unicorn says.

...

"Okay guys! For the next challenge, I want you to insult Goldy!" Tina yells excitedly.

It was unicorns turn.

"You're dumb hair looks really pretty." Unicorn says.

"Thanks." Goldy replies calmly, not thinking too much about it.

...

"Goldy you're a winner in my heart, don't worry."

...

She opens her eyes and looks around to see that she's still in Unicornmans basement.

"You're more quiet than usual." Unicorn chuckles.

She sits up and rubs her eyes. "I didn't get that much sleep last night. I feel pretty out of it today." Goldy lies.

She was disappointed when she woke up. All those memories could've been taken as platonic or romantic.

She observed him. He's walking around carrying a book into his planning room. She stands up, face flushed red. She might as well tell him now than never.

She walks by the entrance of the planning room. She sees that he's writing something in his book.

"H-hey unicornman."

He slightly turns his head.

"Goldy? What's up?" He walks towards her. "Hey, you okay? You're trembling." He looks at her with a worried expression.

She looks down to the floor. Gosh, this is so embarrassing! She was so nervous Goldy didn't even realize how much she was shaking.

"C'mon." She grabs his wrist and leads him to the couch. They sit down. "I-I have something to tell you. And don't laugh ok!"

"I won't. Don't worry." He was nervous. He didn't know if it was something completely embarrassing or something completely serious. He didn't want to know.

"I-I l-like..."

Unicorn just stares at her. Dumbfounded. Shes not saying what he think she's saying, is she?

"I like you!" Goldy blushes.

The room went silent. Unicorn didn't know what to say. He could argue that Goldys saying it in a platonic way. But the way she's blushing a bright red and turning her head away, afraid of how he might respond, is giving him second thoughts.

"I l-like you too G-Goldy, you're my b-best friend."

"N-no!" Goldy looks up. Cheeks burning red. She didn't know confessing would be this difficult. Geez how did Tina do it?

"I like-like you. Like, in a crush way."

She finally said it.

"Really?" He responds. She looks at him to see... is he smiling?

It was so hard for unicorn to keep his composure. His dream girl, is confessing to him. If this is a dream he never wants to wake up.

Unicorn could see that Goldy was embarrassed. He had to stay calm as to not scare her away.

"W-what?" She asks timidly.

"I have a crush on you too Goldy."

After a few seconds of processing what he just said, all her fear and nervousness that flooded Goldys heart was then replaced with relief and happiness.

Without any control over what she was doing Goldy threw her arms around his neck in a tight hold. A few tears of joy streaming down her cheeks. Unicorn immediately hugged her back.

"You have no idea h-how scared I was. Heh, heh."

"You have no idea how long I've wanted to hear you say that."

Goldy calmed down a bit. They pulled away not really knowing what else to do at this moment.

"H-how long have you liked me f-for?" Goldy asks.

"Since like, the first few weeks after you entered the daycare."

Goldys eyes widened in shock. "That long?"

"Yep. It totally was worth the wait."

That statement made Goldy blush... a lot. Unicorn noticed this and chuckled at how adorable she was.

"To be honest I'm still trying to process everything just now." Goldy says, her heart beat slowly calming down. "Does that mean we're, like, dating?" Goldy asks shocked.

"I g-guess so."

"Uh- is it okay if we... like- take things slow? I'm not used to this... whole dating thing."

"Yeah! Of course. I wouldn't want you to feel uncomfortable."

Goldy moves near him and leans her head against his shoulder, unicorn responds by putting his arm around her.

"Has anyone told you how cute you look when you blush?" He decided to be bold.

"Uh- shut up! N-no I don't!" Goldy says blushing. She laughs, playfully pushing him away.

"It's true though. I think you look very beautiful." Unicorn says.

How is someone supposed to respond to that?! Geez you're killing me here.

"Huh? What's You're necklace doing?" He asks.

She looks down to see that the heart is glowing a bright red. From what Ace told her, she vaguely remembers that red is supposed to mean love, protection of others, and-

"Why is it glowing?" Unicorn asks.

She thinks for a moment.

"Oh- Uh... I think it has something to do w-with-"

A smirk begins to show on his face. "Something to do with us dating?"

"Uh- Sure. Yeah."

"CAWCAW! Caw caw!" A loud shriek erupts.

They both flinch at how loud Ryan was.

"Oh no. That cant be good." Goldy says calmly.

Unicorn stands up.

"Here." He gives them both ninja gear and few good weapons. "Let's hope nothing too crazy goes down."

"No kidding." She puts on her armor and runs to the exit.
