Chapter 2
Training Time

Juvia's P.O.V

"......Juvia! Juvia wake up!" I groaned, rolling over and hugging a pillow. An annoying voice kept trying to wake me.

Suddenly, an arm zoomed out and pushed me out of bed, causing me to land on the cold, hard floor. I screamed, "Juvia is tired! Juvia is sleeping! Juvia does not need.....! Why are you in Juvia's room?" I asked the boy, Rin Connelly. He shrugs, "Training time!"

I suddenly feel myself start to blush, I had given up on Gray, so why not....move on?

"-and you need to get dressed now, you can't go to training in that." He pouted to my thin nightgown and I blushed a bright red.

"Juvia is sorry! Juvia shall get changed!" I hop up and start to grab some cloths. "You can leave Juvia's room now." I say over my shoulder and I hear a door close.

I grab my normal outfit and get changed, then I brush my hair....

Ten minutes later I'm downstairs in the guild hall, sitting at the bar waiting for the others. Sierra is working at the bar today, she seems friendly. She reminds me of Cana for some reason... Well, before I gave up on her anyways.

"Sierra? Juvia would like to know the meaning of the guild's name. Juvia is intrigued." I say, smiling brightly.

Sierra looks at me, smiling rather sadly. I frown. "Oh? You want to know why I named the guild Shock Wave? A lot of people do... Well, when I was twelve, there was an earthquake. It shook the ground, tore houses apart...I lost my family that day. But, when the earth began to shake, a wave of fear rolled out. I was in shock, and then, when the earth split apart, only a few people remained standing. I wanted to be one of those people, the ones who weren't afraid of that wave of fear that rolled out, the ones who didn't give up when the shock hit. I wanted to be one of the people who withstood the shock waves."

My eyes widen slightly and I lean across the counter and hug her. "Juvia is sorry. Juvia didn't know."

"It's okay Juvia, it happened years ago." She smiles brightly, returning the hug. "Everyone here has something happen to them in their past. But, we came together and we're happy now aren't we?" She grins.

I nod. This place is a smaller version of Fairy Tail. Everyone has secrets, fears they want to hide. But we can find comfort in each other.

"Training!" Lydia yells, running out of her room. Wow... She looks happy.

"Oh yeah, you'll be doing training with Lydia today!" Jack grins, "She's a horrible teacher, but-" He was cut off when a chair smashed into his head.

"What did you say illusion boy?!"

"That that is a horrible insult Lydia!" Jack smirks, before Lydia pounced on him. "You're the devil Jack!"

"No! That's Cassie!"

"What was that, brother dear?!"

While the three began to fight, I ordered a chocolate milkshake.

Thirty minutes later in a trashed guild hall, Lucy and Wendy finally came down. "Alright guys! Let's go!" Lydia hopped up and grabbed my hand, pulling me towards the back of the guild. "U-Umm... Where are we going?" I asked.

"Training grounds are beneath the guild!" Lydia says happily, a mischievous glint in her eye. She opens a back door and we see a hundred sets of stairs. Okay, maybe not a hundred. But it surely felt like it!

Once we reached the bottom, we saw an array of weapons. We also saw a... Waterfall?

Lydia drags me towards it. "This-" she points to the waterfall, "Is the Waterfall of misfortune, well, at least that's what I call it. It's a powerful weapon against the enemy. Basically, any person who touches the waterfall will be read. This means all of their weaknesses will be recorded in the waterfall. Then, the waterfall will throw all its got at you!" She grins.

"It's an old lost magic relic past down through generations.... So DON'T BREAK IT!" She grins.

"This is designed to help you overcome you're weaknesses and build a resistance to powerful types of magic. Good luck!" She gives a thumbs up.

Training is officially hell! Today I fought fire and ice magic from a STUPID FREAKIN WATERFALL! I got beat up pretty bad, and now have bruises all over my body, it's the same with Lucy and Wendy.

I swear Lydia enjoyed that way too much. She even started laughing. Evilly.

Well, at least it's over..... Oh wait, I have to do it tomorrow too! Ugh!

I sit down at the bar and lay my head on the counter. Ahh... So peaceful- WHO JUST THREW A CHAIR AT ME?

"WHO THREW A CHAIR AT JUVIA?!" I growl. Reiki innocently raises his hand. I scowl and lunge at him, only to be knocked to the side by Cassie, who had been thrown by Lydia at Jack, who was laughing behind me. I spin around to him and tackle him.

"AHHHH!"

"WATER LOCK!"

Now that I have effectively trapped both Jack and Reiki in a bubble of water, I lay down at the bar again. I suddenly hear a few cheers from Sierra and turn to see Cassie and Lydia fighting. For some reason, Cassie and Jack remind me of Natsu and Lydia reminds me of Gray. I sit up to watch the fight.

Lydia lunges at Cassis, her wolf ears pulled back as she growls menacingly. Cassie leaps into the air, in her place is a projection of herself. Cassie shimmers, her image ripples and then she disappears, leaving behind the projection, which was then tackled by Lydia. Up above, I can hear Cassandra laughing.

"CASSANDRA! YOU ATE MY STEAK!"

.....then again, maybe Lydia reminds me of Erza.....

I turn away and look at Sierra. "Master? Juvia would like to know who is the strongest member?"

Sierra tears her eyes away from the fight. "Oh, we don't do that. If there's a strongest member, then there's a weakest member. We prefer to all be equal." She smiles happily.

I smile back, this guild is both different and the same as Fairy Tail. Their beliefs are different and may be strange, but their a family. I love this guild, even the training....

"Oh yeah! You've got training with me tomorrow!" Sierra grins.

......maybe not the training.

{Whoop! Whoop! Yay! Another chapter done. 1076 words! Way shorter than the last chappy, but still pretty long! Most chapters will be this long now!

It makes it easier to update!

Now, this is not edited, so point any mistakes out to me!
