"So.. um.. this.. is the address?" Narina muttered, staring at the run down looking sushi restaurant before them. "I think there was some kind of mistake."

"Perhaps." said Nue. "But wouldn't it make sense for them to hold such an organization in a secret place?"

"Oh right." said Narina. "Like in Hunter X Hunter!"

"What?" said Nue.

"It was a 20th century anime that later got recreated as a 21st century anime, and most of the main guy characters looked like girls.. " said Narina.

"Like you? Hmmm.."

"Well.. they didn't actually BECOME girls." Narina said. "But, it was fun at first.. then.. it was just boring.. I mean, when was Leorio actually useful! At least Usopp in One Piece could actually hold his own in a fight despite being the comic relief! But Leorio.. I mean.. just.. useless!!"

"You're getting off track.." said Nue.

"Oh.. eheh.. sorry, Cake and Anime, always does that to me." said Narina. "Bella usually just steers me in the right direction.. okay.. so.. I guess we should knock?"

Narina walked up to the broken down looking door, but before her knuckles could even reach the wood, the door creaked open.

"Welcome.. heroes!!" said a voice from the darkness.

Lights suddenly blared all around the inside of the sushi shop, as a girl stepped onto one of the tables. She wore a  set of Lolita-goth style clothing exposing her midriff with leather belts around her waist and her arms.

She had ginger hair and on her head, she wore a large top hat with goggles wrapped around it, that looked suspiciously like it might have been some sort of anime cosplay. She also wore a set of nets on her legs.

The girl grinned as she held up an electric base, her hat hiding her face in a shadow, she spoke . "Hello mates! Are you ready to rock out!? Cause I'm feelin' an absolute itchin' fer you all to enjoy your internship! AM I RIGHT!?"

"Uhh.. yes?" said Narina.

"Perhaps.. mmm.." said Nue.

"OH COME ON NOW MATES!!" The girl looked up, revealing her sparkling golden eyes. "Don' leave me hangin!!! This ought ta get your blood pumpin'!!!"

the girl strummed a few powerful notes on her base, and began to sing,

"Whoa! she's good!!" Narina stammered, as she tapped her foot to the beat.

"THANK YOU MATE!" said the girl, somersaulting agilely off the table and leaning her electric base against the front desk of the restaurant.

"And agile." said Nue.

"Welcome rookies!" said the girl. "I'm Nat Falcon!  Leader of this division of the Powers Society. Welcome, Narina Yukata and Nue Elise, it's great to finally meet your two!"

"L-likewise!" said Narina.

"Mmmmm.." Nue nodded in agreement, before suddenly plopping her face right into Nat's breasts. "Sniff.. sniff.. smells different from the usual ones.."

"THAT HOW YOU GREET EVERYONE!!?" Narina roared, putting Nue in a headlock. "You're going to freak her out like that!!"

"Hahahaha! Don't worry mates! I think it's a little refreshing!" said Nat. "In fact! I want to try it out!!"

"Plop!" Nat put her face straight into Nue's breasts and began sniffing. "And.. erm.. sniff.. just what is the purpose of this particular ritual?"

"Nothing.. she's just weird." said Narina.

"Well I LOVE weird!!" said Nat. "I based my entire look off of weird!! People call me Rock'n Girl, I'm actually an Accidental, so trust me, I've always looked like this.. see? Definition of weird for this century is most definitely me! Well.. what are ya waiting fer mates? Let's git in there an' introduce you to the rest of the crew!!"

Nat led Narina and Nue into the Sushi Shop and went over to the cook. "Git us a table for three mate! And grill us some meat, nice and easy!"

"Ahhh.. I see." said the cheff. "I'll have it out in a moment."

"Was that code for something!?" Narina asked excitedly.

"Nope, I'm jus' hungry!' said Nat. "Let me guess.. Hunter X Hunter, that one episode where the room in the restaurant is an elevator? Leorio was useless.."

"I.. Like you!" Narina said with a grin.

"Good to know!" said Nat "Now.. here's where we meet the crew!"

Nat kicked open a door in the back of the restaurant open with a foot. "OY!! MATES! I GOT FRESH MEAT HERE!"

The backroom of the restaurant was nothing impressive, however, there was a large set of holographic computer monitors set up all around the  area.

Sitting on a revolving chair, looking quite lazy, was none other then Garett.

"Well, well!" said Garett with a chuckle. "Looks like we meet again you naughty kids! you're the ones who chased after that Feathered Serpent! While I'm not allowed to condone breaking rules, I have to say, I was impressed!"

"Says the one who constantly broke the rules when he was in the Academy!" said Nat with a roll of her eyes. "I take it you're already familiar with Garett."

"We've met." said Narina.

"Right.. you're Narnia!" said Garett.

"Narina." Narina corrected. "I doubt you'd find me in a wardrobe. "

"Oh, that fellow over there, is Dez." said Nat, pointing at a fellow sitting at the computer monitors, typing away.

He wore a brown trench coat and steampunk goggles, and had wild black hair. his hands and forearms were covered in what appeared to be mechanized gauntlets with many gears, wires, and possibly hidden functions.

Dez chuckled and turned to look at Nue and Narina. "Ooooh? Cute girls?"

"Yeah, maybe you'd have one if you weren't always inside with your silly video games!" said Garett.

"Eheh! These toys.. the toys I make.. are what keep this division together!" said Dez. "I tinker and I tinker, and all my gadgets are mission ready!! Kapeesh!? So these are the new interns? That's great! Two many guys in here.. more girls are good!"

"Uhh.." Narina muttered.

"And finally, we have Terrance Wayde." said Nat. "He's.. well.. over there, doing what he usually does.

A massive shirtless bald muscular man with combat pants, and tattoos all over his body was sitting at a bar area, drinking an entire barrel of beer. 

"THAT'S A LOT OF ALCOHOL!!" Narina stammered.

Terrance turned to reveal a D tattooed on his chest.

"They call me the Death Clutch.. cause though the hero I rebirthed from was a pacifist.. I cannot get enough of battle.. ever!" said Terrance. "I'm also the team drunk.

Terrance picked up another barrel of beer and dumped it into his mouth like a waterfall.

"I CAN SEE THAT!" Narina stammered with horror.

"Would you like a drink?" said Terrance.

"We're underage." said Nue.

"Never stopped me!" said Terrance.

"I know it's not impressive." said Nat. "Usually, a typical Powers Society Division is based in a government building with far more members.. however, since Varus City can be a breeding ground for underground criminal activity, they made the Varus Division small, and comprised of their best agents, I won't lie, you've signed up for the most dangerous Internship around.. not many students want our job."

"Last interns we had 2 years ago ended up in the hospital quite often." said Garett. "In any case, this whole sushi shop headquarters thing is to make sure the baddies don't know where we are.. "

"I think it's cool!" said Narina. "It's like a secret agency!"

"we're nothing like the Secret Agents of the government." said Nat. "We're plenty louder than that when we get on a mission. Er, sometimes we have lots of paperwork because we go overboard."

"Ha, but not overboard is underboard!!" said Terrance.

"Is that even a word?" said Garett.

"It should be!! Glug glug glug..." Terrance began drinking out of his barell again.'

"HOLY HECK HOW ARE YOU NOT DRUNK!?" Narina roared.

"He IS drunk! It's when he's not drunk that you've got to watch out." said Nat seriously.  "Alright, as is tradition of the 12th Division in the Power Society, you are to go through a little bit of hazing. One of you.. has to arm wrestle Terrance! If you win! We let you come along on today's mission.. fail to win.. and well.. you spend your first day here scrubbing the place!"

"Arm wrestle? HIM!?" Narina said.

"Yep!" said Garett. "Whose gonna try it?"

Narina and Nue looked at each other.

"I'll do it.." Narina said, popping her neck. "Put em up.."

Terrance grinned, putting his elbow up on the table. "Well well.. the little lady has guts.."

Narina held up her arm.. and immediately, she imbibed it with carbon and metal particles to create a stainless steel arm. She grabbed Terrance's hand.. "One.. two.. three... GO!!"

Narina immediately threw Terrance up into the air, and swung him down into the floor with a loud thud.

"WHOA!!' Garett laughed and clapped his hands. "Spectacular kid!!

"Why were you going easy on me?" Narina asked.

"Eh?" said Terrance, as he stood up and dusted himself off. "What are you talking about?"

"If you really are the Death Clutch I've heard so much about, no way should I have been able to win.."

"You got me kid.. I only used 30 percent of my strength.. if I had used it in full.. I think I would've accidentally killed you.." said Terrance. "But the fact you won is still an impressive feat I'll give you that.. You've earned my respect! I hope when you graduate that you'll come to work for us!"

"Well, that settles it then." said Dez. "Guess these kiddies are heading out with us on our mission!"

"Really!? A good to honest Powers Society mission!?" said Narina.

"Mmm.. I admit I feel excitement." said Nue.

"A word of warning.. this is dangerous.. so if you want to back out." said Nat.

"Just tell us the freaking mission!!" Narina exclaimed, her eyes sparkling.

"Alright then.." said Nat. "Dez, put it up on the big screen.."

Dez typed a few keys, and on the large screen on the wall.. appeared 3 individuals.

"These are 3 Illegals that just started up some activity around the Roots. " said Garett. "Rumor is, they're the body guards for a smuggling ring that the police have been trying to take down for months. They're making it impossible for them to get any sort of undercover man inside."

"Our job, will be to take them down." said Nat. "Simple as that.. however, we need to do it without revealing the details of the Police's undercover operation, so we'll make it look like we're just taking them down for ordinary crimes.. basically, illegal powers, and street assault and what not.."

The first one here." said Dez, he pointed at a man with dark blue spikey hair, sinister slanted eyes, and sharp teeth. He wore an old Jaws Movie t-shirt, and a dorsal fin protruded from his back.

"That's Barry Lethawitz, he's known primarily as Barracuda Barry. He's a Beast Type.. like Nue here.. "said Nat. "He's a classic smooth talker, likes to fight, can swim and breath underwater, and his strength can crunch steel like paper. Don't let him bite you.. it'll be really nasty if he does."

"Second dude." said Dez, pointing at a woman with a tan top, a pony tail, and a freckly face that looked like she could care less about anything. "Well actually, a dudett.  Alison Ferrel She's called the Human Blade, which means any substance she touches her skin instantly splits around her as if she were a knife. It doesn't matter if she's really sharp, her power makes it like she it. Touching her slightly can slice in a pretty deep cut.. she'll be a tricky one to fight.."

"And finally.." said Terrance. "We've got their ringleader. The Magician."

Terrance pointed at a tall man in a suit, wearing a bower hat. He was elderly, with a white mustache. And he had a hand of playing cards out.

"See those cards?" said Terrance. "Know what he does with em? Well neither do we.. He's never openly fought in broad daylight  before.. but we can assume he's an illegal too, since any cop that's fought him usually ends up without  a head. You rookies will want to avoid him..  it's best you let Nat take him down."

"Maybe he can do the same card throwing thing that one Mutant does in that Wolverine movie every Deadpool fan tries to forget." said Nue. "mmmmm.."

"Oh crap.. now I remember it.." Narina muttered. "Damn it!"

"Okay kiddies, the one thing about our division is.. that we don't tend to fight using Combat Suits.. keeps us from drawing too much attention to headquarters." said Nat. "Even if we do go overboard.. and.. well.. blow things up now and then.  So that means you're going to be lower on your defenses.. that okay?"

"Don't fuss Nat.. we'll keep em close to us, keep them out of trouble." said Garett with a wink.

"We can handle it!" said Narina. "Bring it on!"

"Okay!" said Nat, with a chuckle. She threw a shopping bag full of clothes to Narina and Nue. "Then get dressed, we don't want those school uniforms making you a walking target do we?"

In an abandoned factory for constructing police cruisers.. The Magician sat in a throne made from twisted up scrap , shuffling and reshuffling a deck of cards in his hands.

"Boss! Yo!! Boss!!"

Barracuda Barry jumped out a large pool of water and landed in front of the Magician, his hands and feet were webbed and clawed, and gills were on his neck.. his teeth and jaws were much larger then when his power wasn't active.

"Just swam out of the sewers.. been looking through the pipes for some words and all that.. got more than I bargained for." said Barry. "The 12th Division.. they're coming! They've got two new fresh interns too! And they definitely aren't pushovers like the usual students. The first is that Nue Elise girl who aced the practical exams 12 times in a row.. and that new rising star Shock Therapy who people say is a Prodigy!"

"As good as they are as students, they still are rookies and extremely low threats in comparison to the 12th Division." said the Magician simply. "We can still exploit those interns as the weak links."

"KASHINNNN!!" a fissure split in the wall, as the sound of a slicing blade was heard, and Alison, the Human Blade walked through the wall, as if she were some sort of knife. "Boss, I'm not sure we need to kill them.. perhaps Malice would want these kids as a part of his cause.."

"Perhaps.." said the Magician. "But until he sends us direct orders otherwise, then we will proceed with the initial plan of killing them along with the rest of the 12th.. understood?"

"Yes sir!" both Barry and Alison said, without a single doubt in their minds..
