Before Lance and Keith could become fully acquainted, Keith's bodyguard stepped behind Keith, "Sire, there's been an attempted robbery."

Keith rolled his eyes, turning to face Shiro. "Well, did you take care of it?"

"Of course," Shiro crossed his arm against his chest. "With upmost standards and respect, your highness."

Damn, Keith thought. Maybe if the crime was still being commenced, he could escape this suitor-filled ballroom. But alas, such wasn't his luck.

"Well, thank you, Sir Shiro."

"Of course. But..." Shiro shifted on his feet.

Keith lifted an eyebrow, "Speak, Shiro." Keith hadn't realized he'd left Sir out of his name.

"If I may stay close to you for the night, sire, just to ensure nothing else happens."
