Anika woke up late in the evening and saw Shivaay sleeping at the study table. His head was resting on a book and the screen of laptop was still open. With a smile on her face, she got up and caressed his hair. He got up hearing his name.

A: Why were you sleeping here?

Shivaay made her sit in his lap and showed her the book and switched on laptop. She smiled as he placed both their hands on her belly as if to feel their baby.

S: I searched for the best gynecologist, booked appointment for you, ordered the best pregnancy guides, did some shopping, browsed for pregnancy food charts, exercise links for pregnant woman..

Her eyes brimmed with tears and she leaned into his warmth. A sob escaped her mouth making him panic. Making her lie down on the bed, he hugged her tightly to himself and consoled her. She cried in his arms. He understood that she was thinking about their first child. The way she held his shirt tightly in her fist, he could feel fear. He whispered soothing words and calmed her down. Once she calmed down, he wiped her tears and lifted her chin to make her look into his eyes.
