It was Shivaay's first day for office here. He was excited as this deal could increase Oberoi Market in Australia. He started his company here giving his bade papa an assurance that he will never do any mistake. His every decision has to be strong enough for his company to be on the top.

He got up early in the morning and took out his usual black three piece suit. After a quick shower, he got ready in it and took his time to set his hair perfect to T. He came outside and unknowingly his legs moved towards her room. He raised his hand to knock the door but stopped. She had fever since 2 days and he doesn't want her to take stress. With a sad smile, he reached downstairs. When he moved to kitchen, he was surprised seeing Anika preparing something. He called her name and she turned towards him.

S: What are you doing here?

A: Preparing breakfast for you! Don't you want it?

S: Nahi..I didn't meant that! You were having fever and not well. I don't want you to stress yourself because of me.

A: I am fine now. Trust me!

S: That I do always Anika!

They shared a small eye lock. Anika soon turned away and started to beat the eggs.

S: Waise, what's the menu today?

A: French toast!

He smiled seeing her preparing one of his favorite food.

S: I thought you would prepare aloo poori!

A: Woh..I thought that it would take time and its you first day..

S(cut her): No worries..It's fine with me.

A: But you don't like aloo poori right?

S: Choices change by time I guess! Anyways, I will prepare coffee for both of us.

Before she could say anything, he started to prepare it. They had their coffee and breakfast silently. She stood up to take the used dishes away but stopped when he called her.

A: You need something?

S: Um..yes..I was thinking if you wish to join office you can..What I meant to say is that tum ghar mein akeli hogi and..You know..I meant that you could..

A: But I don't want to. Thanks!

She looked away. He though wanted to convince her but don't want her to take stress. He nodded and his phone rang. It was from his PA John and he started to move to his room to take some files. Anika was waiting for him in living area. He was about to go but forgot and turned to Anika.

S: Anika, I will be back by 7! Don't open door for strangers. Maria auntie will be here soon. Don't bother with house hold works. She will do everything. Take rest and don't forget to take medicines for cold. If you need something, call me! I will make sure to arrange everything.

She nodded and he turned to go.

A: mm...Shivaay!

S: Kya hua?

A(small smile): Woh..All the best!

He knows if he stays here even for a minute more, he couldn't control himself from being away from her. It could only make things worse when they are taking slow steps in their relation. He turned to go and she followed him to the door.

S: Anika!

A: Hmm..

S: Kuch nahi! Bye!

Anika nodded and closed the door.

Shivaay was in his office and had an meeting with his team regarding the deal. The necessary changes and the main details regarding the merger were discussed and later Shivaay moved back to his cabin. He soon immersed himself in work. His only target is to stabilize the deal perfectly so that they can go back to India soon.

He didn't realize that it was noon and time for lunch. A door knock bought him back into reality and frowned to see George, his security in charge here when Shivaay had given him strict instructions regarding Anika's security.

S: Why are you here when I asked you to monitor Anika?

G: Sir, Mrs. Oberoi sent me here!

S: What? But why?

G: Sir, she had sent you lunch!

He said showing the bag. Suddenly Shivaay's anger was gone and a beautiful smile formed on his face.

S: Keep it here and leave!

The latter placed it on the table beside on the couch and left. If he gets a chance, he would have jumped like a maniac. He immediately began to dig the boxes. Taking a first bite he relished the taste in delight. Years back if someone could have told him that she prepares yummy food, he would have personally admitted that person in a mental asylum. Every action of hers is making him fall for her more and more but there is a confusion in her eyes.

She is hesitating to be with him but still doing it because he might feel bad. He saw it in her eyes. He first neglected the thought but later on understood this thing by the way she behaved after he having a talk with her to open up. But he doesn't wish for things to run in this way. Of course he needs her in his life but not because of any pressure or force. She has to be herself when she is with him willingly. Not with any pretense or a feeling that not to hurt anyone with their actions. Anika's actions are proving this. He needs to talk to her so that issues can be solved, he thought.

From the time she had entered his life, he is having this strange attraction to her. To have her in his arms, to cuddle her, to smile with her and most importantly to get the love from her which he is yearning from 3 years.

He knows he loves her but was thinking to express it to her when things get right between them. A magical and a beautiful proposal when she completely accepts him. He smiled at the thought.

I want to have a family with you Anika. I want to shower you the love I have for you. I want to roam around the world holding your hand. Can't you forgive me soon and give my selfish heart the love which I am craving from you? Why am I not able to control myself? God, give me lots of patience! Please!

After Shivaay had left, Anika started to wash used dishes and arranged the table properly. Meanwhile the doorbell rang and Maria showed up. Exchanging greetings, Anika let her in. Seeing Anika doing everything, the latter sighed.

M: Anika dear, why are you doing these! I will do everything and you just rest okay!

A: I like doing house works auntie!

M(big smile): That's sweet..Lets share works then! I bet you wont be bored.

Anika smiled and both of them did all the house works together. Later on Anika prepared coffee for the older lady and both were in living area. There was an awkward silence between them. Maria decided to break it.

M: Anika, can I ask you something?

A: Yes please..

M: I know its your personal space but I wish both of you to be happy. After a long time, I saw a genuine smile on his face and its because of you. Don't leave his side. I know both of you are made for each other.

Anika just nodded unable to say anything.

M: Do you know Anika, many times I saw him coming home completely drunk and I myself helped him to reach his room. He used to blabber sorry Anika..please come back! I used to feel very much sad for him. But after seeing you with him now, all I wish is for both of your happiness. Please keep Shivaay happy always!

Anika gave a small smile. She is very much confused now. What should she consider now? Does his actions convey his care or repentance? She isn't able to come out of this maze.

M: Anyways Anika, shall I help you in preparing lunch for Shivaay?

Anika nodded and silently left to kitchen. She prepared lunch for him and asked George to give it to Shivaay. Later on Maria left and Anika moved to her room and sat near the window.

Unknowingly her hands moved to her mangalsutra. The words he told the day he tied it to her back in Oberoi mansion ran in her mind.

A: Shivaay, please don't pity me and do everything for repenting your mistakes. Why did you marry me that day in temple Shivaay? Like Sahil told me once, you could have talked to that organizer to stop it but you married me instead. I don't think after your guilt leaves you, you will still be there on my side! I can't accept another heart break. Please don't ever leave me..I can't face anyone alone. Not anymore!

Fearing about such a situation, she clutched her mangalsutra tightly. She doesn't even know why is he this way. Did he really change or trying to get forgiveness? Only he can answer, she thought and stared outside.
