Anika was sitting on the couch and removing her ear rings. She was lost in the day's incidents. She never thought that Shivaay could ever refer her as his wife in front of the world. She remembered the past when he introduced Tia as his wife and later asked her that to forget everything like nothing ever happened. She remembered how none of his family supported her in the wedding reception to save their family's name. She wiped her tears from back side of her palm.

But now, everything had been changed. He confidently introduced her as his wife in front of the world. She never expected that something like this to happen. She remembered all the smiling faces of his family. Are they really genuine? was the only thought running in her mind. She jerked out of thoughts when she heard his foot steps. She immediately placed all the jewelry given by dadi inside the box given by her and placed it on the dressing table. She then took her night suit and left to change. Doesn't know why she didn't want to face him now.

Shivaay saw her entering to the washroom and sighed. He sat on the bed and removed his watch and loosened his bow tie. He knows how Anika might be feeling and thought to talk to her. He smiled at the situation fate had put them into. During past, she continuously used to talk not giving him a single chance to talk back and now, her answers are confined to few sentences. She barely talks to anyone. He is wondering how to bring back his old Anika and what to do so that she would start to mingle with everyone.

He saw Anika coming out of washroom and patted the place next to him for her to sit. She gave a small nod and sat next to him maintaining some distance. How he wished to sit very close to her and hug her, caressing her soft locks. She was playing with her fingers looking everywhere else not at him. Before he could say anything, she replied.

A: Dadi ne mujhe jewelry di thi..I placed everything in that box! Mein kal subah dadi ko de dungi.

She pointed towards the box and he looked at her. The words he yelled on her face, manipulative gold digger was running in his mind. How he wished to change back everything that happened in the past. His heart panged with guilt hearing Anika talking like this. His own words are paining him now.

S: Anika, woh sab kuch tumhare liye hai! You can keep them with you.

She didn't say anything and stood up to go but he stopped her again.

S: Anika, I know tum iss wakt kya soch rahi ho! I am sorry..I know I should have told you the reason behind party before hand. But mein tujhe surprise karna chahta tha.

A(smiling sadly): Meri life hi ek surprise ban chuki hai..

S: Anika, I didn't mean in that way..Mein bas tujhe happy rakhna chahta tha and meri galtiyon ke liye maafi maangna chahta tha! I know meine past mein tujhe patni ka darja nahi dekar tujhe bohot hurt kiya! I now got to know ki tum past mein meri behaviour se kitna hurt hui hogi..I am really sorry! My intention for today's act was not to play with your feelings. I did this because I accept you as my wife! Mein iss shadi ko maanta hoon Anika!

He said holding her hand and looking into her eyes. For a second, she forgot everything. She just want to drown herself in his kanjee eyes. His eyes were begging her to trust him and give a chance for him. She got alert and removed her hand from his.

S: Raat bohot ho chuki hai..We need to sleep..And, hum kal Sahil ke boarding school jaa rahe hai!

She nodded and moved towards the couch and lied down wrapping the comforter.

S: Good night Anika!

A: Good night!

He dimmed the lights and lied down on the bed facing her back. He just wanted to bring a smile on her face. He too soon dozed off looking at her.

Next morning,

Anika got ready and having her coffee reading newspaper. The entire business page was filled with the previous days incidents. And there wasn't a negative wording that could defame her character was written. She knows that after the party, Shivaay gave strict instructions to Khanna to look after the media and not to spread any negative rumors else consequences would be very difficult.

Her phone was also beeping continuously with messages of congratulations from all the clients she had in Kolkata. This wasn't she wanted. She don't want the world to recognize her as Shivaay Singh Oberoi's wife but as Anika, Just Anika. But she chose not to think about that because in a marital life, everything between husband and wife should be shared. And maybe this is the time to accept changes in her life, she thought. A part of her not agreed to this. Only time can change everything, she thought and smiled.

Shivika and Sahil started their way towards Sahil's boarding school for his admission. Anika is feeling sad that now her brother is going to stay away from her. He is the only person who gave his shoulder at all the times she broke down. He is her support, her brother, her strength and her everything. She wrapped her arm around Sahil and he cuddled into Anika's warmth. Shivaay who saw this smiled. He knows the value of siblings. He thought of something and messaged Omru and Gauri about his plan. The trio said everything would be perfect.

After the admission process was completed, Shivaay told the staff that Sahil would be arriving the school from Monday, making the duo shock.

A: Lekin kyu Shivaay?

S: He will spend weekend with us and then we will drop him here on Monday!

Anika felt very much happy listening to him. Sahil tugged Shivaay's coat and he knelt down to Sahil's height. The little boy hugged Shivaay tightly thanking him.

Sa: You are the best SSO! Thank you so much! I love you!

A: Sara pyar sirf SSO ko hai? Mujhe nahi hai?

She asked pouting cutely. The others laughed and Shivaay pulled Anika's hand and the trio shared a hug kneeling down.

Shivaay's happiness grew no bounds. This is what he wished of, having both of them close to him. At this moment, Shivaay considered Sahil as his first child. He promised to himself to always be the a father to Sahil.

Trio broke hug after a while and Anika was embarrassed. But she was happy this moment. This Shivaay is completely a changed man. She knows why he told the staff regarding Sahil's admission. She is thankful to him. The trio moved towards the car and Anika looked at Shivaay. He also stopped in his tracks. With a wide smile on her face she wished him thanks.

S: Thanks kyu bol rahi ho Anika? Agar Sahil tumhara bhai hai toh woh mera bhi bhai hai! Trust me Anika, I will always wish for his happiness! And don't worry, I already contacted with the hostel management also. Sahil won't be facing any difficulty.

She gave a small smile and moved towards Sahil. He too smiled seeing her.

S: I know I really troubled you using Sahil but not anymore Anika..I promise to be good fatherly figure to him.

The entire mansion was filled with darkness when the trio entered inside. Anika immediately held Shivaay's hand in fear.

S: Anika...relax..mein hoon yaha! Dont panic.

Suddenly lights went on and Sahil was surprised seeing everything. Anika was again in a shock mode. She couldn't believe that all of them made such an effort to cheer Sahil. The entire living area was filled with balloons and there was a board hanging on which was written, Congratulations and All the best Sahil!

She looked at Shivaay who blinked his eyes and smiled. Pinky and Jhanvi asked took Sahil towards the center where his favorite chocolate cake was present.

S: Sahil..what are you waiting for? Cut the cake!

Ru: Yes Sahil..you know aaj mera cheat day bhi hai! You cut the cake soon and give a bigger piece to me okay!

Shivaay and Om slapped Rudy on his head and all giggled.

Sa: Lekin ek condition pe! SSO and didi should cut the cake along with me!

A: Sahil..yeh sab kuch tumhare liye hai na! Tum cake cut karo na..

Sa: Oh please didi! Can't you do this much for me!

He pleaded with his not so puppy face. Anika smiled and nodded. Sahil made Shivika stand on either side of him. First Sahil placed Anika's hand on above his. Then he placed Shivaay's hand on above of Anika's. She immediately looked at him feeling his touch. He tightened his grip assuring her he would never ever leave her side. The trio cut cake and Rudra captured many small eye locks and cute candid's of Shivika. All of them were enjoying the cake pulling each others legs and Shivaay was standing at a corner looking at the smiling faces of all. He looked at Anika who had a big smile on her face seeing Rudra and Sahil fighting for cake.

S: We lost our happiness once because of my guilt Anika. But not anymore. I will never let any problem which tries to remove this beautiful smile on your face. I promise to be great wall of Shivaay Singh Oberoi for this family which also includes you! You are my family!
