Shivaay walked into the garden and saw Ishana and Khanna having a serious conversation. He thought what were they discussing so much intently. He approached them and Ishana indicated him to have a seat.

Ishana: What would to like to take? Espresso or tea?
Shivaay: I’m fine.
Ishana: It will be a long conversation. Trust me. You will be needing it.
Shivaay(remembers Anika): Kaali coffee.
Ishana(smiled): Sure.

She instructed the maid for their beverages and went to bring somethings. Shivaay was sitting quietly yet a storm was going on within him. Khanna saw him and was feeling hurt and sad about them. Soon Ishana arrived with some files and placed it on the garden table while she settled herself in front of the men. She only knows with what courage she was about to reveal the conditions of Anika and her past to Shivaay who was also going through a traumatic phase. Their drinks arrived and She prepared herself to start.

Ishana: Shivaay.... Before I begin with it, I want you to understand that if you want to help out Anika or better if you want to Save Anika , you need to be mentally strong because She has gone through worst situations ever in her life during these 5 years time. So if you are mentally prepared then only I will proceed with it.

Shivaay was shocked hearing this much only. What might have happened that her life is being at risk? Did she suffer more than him? But she shouldn’t be punished or bare anything for what he has done? But not anymore. He will be strong only for her. But he needs her near him to go through this.

Shivaay (stammering): I....I am ready.
Ishana: Are you sure?
Shivaay: Yes. But.... but can I just meet Anika once please.....
Ishana: Sure.

He almost ran inside the mansion to meet her. Ishana understood what he was going through and why he went to meet her.

Khanna: Why did Sir go?
Ishana: He is weak and his strength is Anika. So he went to gain his strength to face her sufferings.

*Anika’s room*

Shivaay entered the room slowly because he thought one sound and she would be awake but he had forgotten that she is deep sleep. He sat beside her and held her hand tightly between his hands. He kept his head on her stomach and stayed in that position for sometime. Slowly he hugged her by her waist and remained quite. It seemed as if he is drawing energy and strength from her. When he felt better, he sat properly and looked at her face. Slowly he rubbed her cheek and he kissed her forehead lightly.

Shivaay(whispers): You know that you are my strength and for you I’m alive today. Shivaay is alive because Anika never left his side. But what happened in these 5 years that you had to suffer so much? You said that I don’t consider am you as family but Anika you are the most important person in life...... Most important. And I can’t let you suffer like this anymore. I will be strong.... I will become that Shivaay which you always wanted. But for that I need you beside me always.... Always.

Keeping his forehead on hers with closed eyes, he tried to live the moment and gain his strength. He opened his eyes and kissed her forehead lovingly. He looked at her hand which he was holding and found a bracelet in between her bangles. He opened it and kept it with him. The bracelet held many significance in their life. It was the first ever jewel he had given her other than the mangalsutra. It wasn’t something fancy. Just a plain silver bracelet with a heart in between. She was so happy when he had given it to her along with the dreamcatcher. He looked at her for one last time and went to face the harsh realities along with her bracelet, tightly fisted.

*Garden*

Ishana saw Shivaay coming and she could see the change in him. His shoulders that were dropped were back to normal, his eyes which were empty now had some spark. Now he is ready to face. She didn’t fail to notice his fisted hand. So, he has got something to give him strength through the harsh realities. Shivaay sat down in front of her.

Shivaay(determined voice): I’m ready Doctor.
Ishana: From where you want me to start?
Shivaay: How is Anika now?
Ishana: Now she is not in danger but it can be life threatening for her if more stress is given to her.
Shivaay(breaking voice): What has happened to her?
Ishana: Anika is suffering from brain tumour. But it wasn’t fatal until she met with a deadly accident 3 years back.

“Have you forgotten what had happened 3 years back?”

Rudra’s words were echoing in his ears. He shivered and panicked. He tighten his fist having her bracelet to calm himself down and give strength. Ishana say him doing it and noted.

Ishana(continuing): Anika was suffering from the tumour since her birth and it wasn’t  fatal for her. But due to the accident , she suffered a severe brain haemorrhage. She was almost in a life and death situation. But say it miracle or whatever she survived. We have treated for her haemorrhage but we didn’t think that the tumour would cause problem until Anika had fainted with severe headache in her office due to overtime. I thought due to stress of workload she fainted but.... We failed to notice that blood was getting accumulated in the tumour making it fatal.

Shivaay was trying to control himself a lot but was failing. His hold on the bracelet was increasing. Tears were clouding his eyes and few of them trickled down his eyes. Khanna got scared. He thought that his Shivaay sir would again break down.

Khanna : Sir Please don’t cry. You can’t fall weak now.
Shivaay(wiping his tears): I’m fine Khanna. And don’t worry I won’t fall weak anymore when Anika is beside me always. Doctor....
Ishana(cutting him in between): You can call me Ishana.
Shivaay(gives a small smile): Ishana.... Is Anika completely fine now? I mean to say her tumour is removed?
Ishana: No.... We couldn’t operate her on it because....
Shivaay: Because?
Ishana(hesitates): Your.... Your....
Shivaay: Just say whatever the matter is Ishana. For me My Anika’s life is very important.
Ishana: Your family was not ready to help Anika.
Shivaay(confused): Means?
Ishana: I guess it is better if Khanna tell you everything from here. But I would like to tell you one thing Shivaay, Anika’s condition is not good. We need to do the operation as soon as possible. I will check on Anika. ( she went)
Shivaay(full attention on Khanna): Khanna.... You have never back out of your responsibility of a brother and always protected Anika even when I wasn’t there for her. I can very return your favour for it.
Khanna: Sir what are saying? Anika is my sister and I would always look after her. But I failed in some situations to protect her.
Shivaay: Khanna please tell me what happened in these 5years when I was away from Anika. Please Khanna.
Khanna: Though Anika has given me her swear still I would break it because only you can save her now from all her miseries and pain. It all started from the next morning of your arrest.....

*5 years ago*
*Next morning of Shivaay’s arrest*

Anika was a broken soul. She had lost all her happiness and charm. The whole night , she couldn’t close her eyes for once. Shivaay’s emotionless face was constantly flashing in front of her eyes and those eyes of his which had immense regret for leaving her. No... She can’t sit quietly. Her Shivaay is going through a tough phase and she has to pray to give him strength. She slowly dragged herself to the bathroom to get a bath. Finally, she was ready in her usual attire with sindoor and mangalsutra. She saw her reflection on the mirror and wasn’t shocked. Her reason for her life wasn’t with her then how is she supposed to look pretty and for whom will she look pretty. Khanna arrived at the door step and saw his sister’s broken state. He couldn’t see her like that.

Khanna: Anika....
Anika(looks at him blankly): Haa....
Khanna: Car is ready.
Anika: I’m coming in 10 minutes.

He left immediately unable to see her state. Anika looked around the room and it made her feel his presence everywhere. Her eyes got filled and she left the room. She went towards the mandir to take the necessary things for the puja when....

“Dare you step inside....”, her feet halted and she looked behind to see Dadi. She bent down to take her blessings but she backed away. Anika felt hurt but she composed herself and got up.

Anika: Dadi... I was ....
Dadi: You are No one to me or this family.
Anika(shocked): What?
Dadi: Your husband has killed my son. Like the way he is dead for the family (pointing finger towards her) You are also dead for us. This house belongs to me and I will decide who will stay here who will not.
Anika(shocked): But Dadi.... I am the daughter in law.....
Dadi(shouts): No.... You are no-one. I never accepted you. That day just for your husband I had but now when he isn’t here you are also not needed here. Now get out of the house before I throw you out of here.

Anika was shocked hearing everything. She wasn’t expecting this from Dadi. She was too shocked to react.

Dadi: You won’t listen like this. I have to throw you out now.

Dadi was about to hold to hand when someone stopped her. They looked up to see OmRu. Anika smiled thinking that they would make Dadi understand But seems like her happiness was short lived.

Rudra: Why are you doing this Dadi When your grandsons are here to do the honour?
Anika(shocked whisper): Rudra....
Om: Bhabi we are still ready to keep you in this house if you promise that you will cut all ties with that Man.
Anika: Om why don’t you understand whatever Shivaay has done must have a very solid reason behind it. Please try to understand.
Om: Enough bhabi. I’m not here to listen about that Man. Tell us frankly what is your decision?
Anika(strong voice): I won’t leave Shivaay.
Rudra: Okay then you need to leave this house forever and dare you return back or consequences won’t be good.
Anika: You both will regret one day. Regret a lot when the truth comes out and that day you won’t be left with anything.

Wiping her tears, she walked out of the Oberoi mansion. Khanna witnessed everything and was about to follow Anika as he had promised to himself that he would never leave her alone. Anika saw him coming with her and stopped.

Anika; Are you going somewhere Khanna Bhaiya?
Khanna: With you.
Anika(confused): With me?
Khanna: I saw and heard everything that happened inside.
Anika(shocked but composed herself): But you can’t come with me Khanna Bhaiya.
Khanna: Why can’t I come? You are my sister and I have to take care of you also.
Anika: Khanna Bhaiya, you are the chief security officer for the Oberois and if you only go away then how will the family be protected? You know right... For Shivaay his family is very important.... If he comes to know that you have left the family alone and accompanied me then he will turn be very angry. So you stay back here and protect the Family.... especially Priyanka. I couldn’t talk with her and now I won’t be able to talk to her further. I’m just giving you one responsibility- Keep the family safe until Shivaay returns. Can you do this much for me and Shivaay ..... Please?

Khanna could only nod his head agreeing to her. She smiled. Giving a last look to the mansion, she went away. Though Khanna had agreed to stay back, he would not step back from his duty of a brother. So he was keeping a tract of Anika’s whereabouts and all her activities.

Anika had again went back to her old work of making dosas and addition to it were idlis. She used to work hard day and night so that she could be distracted. And if anyone asked about her new resident then it was a small room in some chawl with no furnitures..... She survived on a single bed sheet and with 3 clothes. Many days she would skip her meals as she had no mood to eat. She was physically just keeping herself active but mentally she was breaking down slowly. She wanted to meet Shivaay but he always refused to meet anyone making her more sad. Like this one year passed by. Anika was all by herself but she always used keep a check on the family through Khanna. Hearing about Priyanka becoming an alcohol addict made her shocked. How will Shivaay react when he comes to know that his baby sister has become alcoholic? She couldn’t understand how did it happen when OmRu were there for her. She thought of meeting Priyanka personally and talk regarding it but....

*One day*
Anika was getting ready for the stall when someone knocked at her door. She was confused who would be at this time so early morning. Brushing her thoughts away, she opened the door to see Khanna Bhaiya with another man holding some files.

Anika: Khanna Bhaiya,  you here?
Khanna: Anika, there is something very important that I need to discuss. It is very urgent and important.
Anika(moving aside): Please come in.

She guided them inside and asked them to have a seat on the sofa, which Khanna Bhaiya had forcefully given her. She went to fetch some water for her guests. She gave water to them and sat down in front of them.

Khanna: Anika....(showing the other man) He is Mr. Mishra .... Shivaay sir's personal assistant. (Anika greeted him by doing namaste) He is here for some work.
Anika: But Khanna Bhaiya what work he has from me?
Mishra: Ma’am....
Anika(cutting him in between): Anika will be fine.
Mishra: But I’m used to it. ( she gave a slight nod) Ma’am .... Om and Rudra Sir are planning to sell off the shares that rightfully belongs to Shivaay sir.
Anika(shocked): What?
Mishra: Yes Ma’am. They are even planning for a press conference today to announce it.
Anika: But how can they do like that? No there must be some mistake Mishra ji. This can’t happen.
Khanna: It is true Anika.
Anika: No.... This can’t happen. They just can’t sell Shivaay shares and properties without his consent.
Mishra: You are right ma’am. But since Shivaay sir has a criminal record now it will be easy for them to do anything and the company is also facing some losses. So to overcome those, they are planning to sell of Shivaay sir's shares.
Anika: No.... I can’t let that. I can’t let them sell Shivaay’s hard work. I can’t let Shivaay’s hard work fall. I have to do something.
Mishra: Ma’am there is a way.
Anika: What way?
Mishra: You can claim Shivaay sir’s shares.
Anika: But how?
Mishra: You are his legally wedded wife and according to the will of something happens to Shivaay sir then you can rightfully claim his shares and properties and no-one can stop you.
Anika: Does it mean that I have to look after Shivaay’s office work too?
Mishra: That I can handle. You just need to be present during the board meetings and during signing of any deal that’s it.
Anika: Does Priyanka get anything?
Mishra: Shivaay sir hasn’t named anything in Priyanka ma’am name. So....
Anika: Can I make some changes?
Mishra: Like?
Anika: I want Priyanka to be the 20% share holder of Shivaay’s shares.
Mishra: That means 50% Om sir and Rudra Sir , 30% Shivaay sir and 20% Priyanka ma’am...
Anika: Yes....
Mishra: Okay ma’am.
Anika: Now what I have to do?
Khanna: Come with us to Oberoi mansion and claim what is rightfully yours.

She took a deep breath and stood up. She is going back to the place where no body wants her, she is going back to her sasural..... Sasural... She doesn’t think so. She is going to the place where they created memories.

Khanna: Anika we need to leave.
Anika: Let’s go Khanna Bhaiya.
Khanna: But....
Anika(turns towards him): Anything wrong?
Khanna: One minute.

He ran outside and came back within a minute holding a packet. He gave it to her while she made a question face.

Khanna: People should know..... Who Anika Shivaay Singh Oberoi is.... Just wear it and come.

Obeying his words, she went to change.

The two men looked up to see the epitome of beauty. Cladded in a Sun yellow Saree with white blouse and some simple ear piece, she was looking beautiful as well as professional. She had a different kind of aura around her speaking confidence.

Anika: Chaliye Khanna Bhaiya. Let me get back what is rightfully My Shivaay’s.

*Oberoi mansion*

Arrangement was almost over. Media had already arrived and was waiting patiently for the start of the conference. All the attention went towards the stairs where we see a couple coming down while holding hands followed by another couple. They were none other than Om and Gauri and Rudra and Bhavya. Media started clicking pictures of the couples as they pose. After a brief photo session, Om took the stage.

(Happening simultaneously)
Om: Good morning Ladies and Gentlemen. I heartily welcome you all today. As you all know that we called the press conference for 2 main reasons.

That moment, a car halted just outside the doors of the mansion. Khanna hurriedly went and opened the back door. Anika took a deep breath and stepped out. She looked around the place and admired it. Finally, she composed herself and followed Khanna and Mishra towards the house.

Om(spreads his hand towards Gauri and she joins him on the stage along with Rudra and Bhavya): I would like to announce that I have found my soul mate, Gauri (looks at her) And we are all ready to tie knot by the end of this month.

Huge round of applause roared throughout the hall but everyone failed to gear the sound of a breaking heart. Anika looked at her sister standing beside Om looking all happy and cheerful. Ohh... so here is her sister  with her fiancé. But isn’t she her family whim she should have met before? One year six months..... Anika was waiting for Gauri. But....

R1: Ms. Gauri aren’t you Mrs. Anika’s sister?
Gauri: I don't have any sister. I only have a younger brother Sahil and my aunt who are currently on a tour.
R2: But how is possible? We have seen you so many times with Mrs. Anika ?
Gauri: I don’t have any relation with murderer’s wife. Her husband has killed my father in law who wasn’t less than a father figure to me. I can never forgive him nor I have any relation with Mrs Anika.

Media were whispering amongst themselves while Anika was just shocked. Khanna was no less. He was thinking what happened suddenly that Gauri changed so much. But he couldn’t think about all these now. He needs to sort out the matter for which he had come. He slowly placed his hand on  Anika’s shoulder bringing her back to the reality. Anika composed herself and waited for the next shock to arrive.

Rudra: As my brother Omkara Singh Oberoi said that he has found his soul mate in Gauri bhabi....in the same way I have found my soul mate in Bhavya. And interestingly , we are planning of getting married on the same day.
R2: When is the wedding sir?
Rudra: By the end of this month. But it will be strictly a private affair as you all know our Father Tej Singh Oberoi is not with us anymore so.... it will be strictly private.
R3: Sir.... we heard that the Oberois are seeking 50% shares which belongs to Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi?
Rudra: Yes, you have heard it right. We are selling 50% shares.
R1: This means Mr. Shivaay won’t be happening any right over Oberoi mansion and Industries?
R2: And what about Mrs. Anika?
Rudra: What about her? We have no relation with her.
R1: So whom are you selling the shares to?
Rudra: We are selling the shares to.....
Anika(walks to the centre and with strong voice): I’m here to claim my husband’s shares.

Hustle and bustle started among the reporters. Flashes of camera started blinding her eyes but she stayed strong. Her eyes emitted fire and determination. Anger shoot up in Rudra’s veins seeing her while Om remained unaffected.

R2: Mrs. Anika how can you claim the property? Are you a part of it?
R1: Mrs. Anika it was heard that you weren’t in the Oberoi mansion and were throw out of it?
R3: Mrs. Anika what have to say about Shivaay Singh Oberoi's arrest ?
Anika(strong voice): I’m not here to answer to any of your questions. I’m here to save the hard work of my husband from getting sold. I will be taking up his place in his absence.

Rudra was burning in anger. He couldn’t tolerate Anika’s interfere in his work and life. He was about to say something against her but....

Anika: If anyone has any questions regarding it then I would like my assistant Mishra ji to read out the papers. Mishra ji......
Mishra: According to the share papers, 30% of the shares belong to Shivaay Singh Oberoi which his wife Mrs. Anika Shivaay Singh Oberoi can take over doing unfavourable conditions and take his place. 20% of the shares belongs to Ms. Priyanka Singh Oberoi and the rest of the 50% shares belongs to Mr. Omkara Singh Oberoi and Mr. Rudra Singh Oberoi.
Rudra: How should we belief you?
Anika: You can cross check it with your lawyer. I have no problem.

Rudra took the papers from Mishra and gave it to his lawyer , who checked everything and nodded in agreement saying that everything is correct. Anika gave a look to everyone around the hall and went to the stage. She was feeling nervous seeing so many reporters but she has to be strong for her Shivaay and do it.

Anika: My husband, Shivaay Singh Oberoi was the CEO of the company. I’m not going to take his position from him but till he returns back and take up his responsibilities I will working in his place.
R1: But how can you handle the business? You are not qualified enough.
Anika(looks at the reporter): Really? Do you know about my qualification? 
R2: A wedding planner.
Anika(nods her head agreeing it): Yes... That is true that I’m a wedding planner but that doesn’t mean I don’t know anything about business. I have successfully completed my MBA degree from one of the top universities of Mumbai. I know the Board of Directors will not have faith on me regarding it and it is quite natural. But I assure that I won’t let the company fall unlike others(eyeing OmRu). ( turns back to media) I think this is the end of the conference. Please eat before you all leave.

She gave a professional smile to everyone while the media went towards the refreshment area. Anika got down the stage and was about to go to their room when Rudra stopped her.

Rudra: What was all this?
Anika: What?
Rudra: How dare you claim the shares? We had clearly said that we have no relation with the Man who killed our Father then why....
Anika: Rudra...
Rudra(cutting her in between): It is Mr. Rudra Singh Oberoi.
Anika(hurt but composed herself): Mr. Rudra Singh Oberoi.... the shares that you were trying to sell belongs to my husband and his sister and you can’t sell them without his consent.
Rudra: Who wants his consent ? He is a criminal and no-one asks consent from them.
Anika(strong voice): And I would not allow you to do that .... Never. Now I’m here and will stay here only.
Rudra: Fine then. I want equal division of everything.... starting from The Oberoi Mansion....

It came like a shock for everyone. Anika stumbled back but Khanna saved her from falling. She looked at Rudra with shock. She looked at others to see that none of them were effected by it.

Rudra took a plate full of white powder as well as Om. Both of them started making a line diving the mansion into 2 equal halves. Anika could only stand and see as the partition line was laid.

Rudra(pointing towards Anika’s portion): That side is yours and this side is ours. You will stay in your side of the house and We in our side. Don’t you dare try to cross the line otherwise consciences won’t be good.

Everyone went back to their room leaving a shocked and devastated Anika. She looked at Gauri thinking that she would at least come and talk to him but.... Anika composed herself and went towards their room.

*Shivika’s room*
Anika entered the room to find it completely devastated. Everything was shattered and broken  their little paradise was destroyed completely. Her eyes were filled with tears and she fell down on her knees. Everything came to her in full swing and her cries grew more.

Anika(cries): Why? Why.... Why is everyone hating Shivaay so much why? Why.....

“Anika....”, a voice stopped her. She turned back to see her sister Gauri. Forgetting everything, she went towards her and was about to hug her when she received the biggest shock of her life. Gauri pushed her away from her making Anika stumble back. Anika looked at her shocked. Is she her sister? Her Gauri....

Anika(low voice): Gauri....
Gauri: Don’t.... Why did you come back?
Anika: Gauri.... This is my house.... this is Shivaay’s house.
Gauri: Oh... So you are here to enjoy the luxuries of the Oberois?
Anika(shocked): Gauri....
Gauri: Otherwise what will be the reason? Like Husband like Wife.
Anika(shouts): Gauri....
Gauri: Don’t shout. I know for what reason Shivaay has killed Tej papa. He wanted to snatch my Omkara’s properties and Rudra’s too. So when he saw that their father has returned posing a treat to his plans, he killed him. And now you are to snatch what Shivaay couldn’t fulfil. I never thought that you will stoop so low. If you had allowed them to sell those shares then what would have happened?
Anika(strong voice): Enough.... Enough Mrs. Would be Gauri Singh Oberoi. Enough.... You have spoke way beyond your limits. And what do you even know about Shivaay and this family? This house , that company and everything around us is because of the extreme hard work of my husband over the years.  He has put his sweat and blood and set up the business and you expect me to sit back and see it getting broken down in front of my eyes. No never. Just like the way you are supporting your would be husband, I’m supporting my husband. I know that OmRu hates me and now .... It will be better if you go back to Om before he comes to know that you have crossed the line. ( turns back and shows her back) I need some space.

She heard the faint foot steps and finally let her tears flow down. Covering her mouth, she collapsed on the floor crying badly. Her sister doesn’t believe her .... What else would be worse than this? Her cries were echoing through the room.

Anika(almost shouts): Shivaay.....

Her shout and cries reached to the other side of the house as well but no-one seemed to be affected bit it. Khanna who was already present there saw Anika’s state and was extremely sad. The day passed by and Anika locked herself in the room. Khanna tried to make her eat something but she refused it. He was thinking where she would take rest as the condition of the room was worst. But as Shivaay she was too stubborn and didn’t leave the room at all. Khanna could only sigh.

*Next day*
Everyone except Anika was present in the dining table having breakfast. Om and Rudra were ready in their new looks – suits and was about to leave for office when Anika walked down the stairs in her usual attire – sari looking beautiful as well as smart. She ignored everyone and went out of the house. Few seconds later, Khanna too walked down the stairs holding all the necessary things like laptop bag, files and her personal bag and went out.

Om: Where is she going?
Rudra: I don’t know. But looking at Khanna seems like....

Both of them realised something and their eyes widened in realization.

OmRu: Office....

They hurriedly got up from the table but Dadi stopped them.

Dadi: Where are you both going without eating?
Om: Dadi, we need to reach office immediately before She reaches.
Jhanvi: Who?
Rudra: Anika....

Without further discussion, they left.

Dadi: This girl is very inauspicious. From the time she has entered the house every wrong thing is happening.

Gauri left bad hearing Dadi but she removed all the thoughts.

*Oberoi Industries*

Om and Rudra entered to see it empty. They were confused. They saw one of the peons going with some files. Om stopped him.

Om: Where are you going?
Peon: Good morning Sir. Woh, I am going to Shivaay sir’s cabin to give the files to Ma’am.
Rudra: Who ma’am? And where are the others?
Peon: Anika ma’am, Shivaay sir’s wife. And everyone is in her cabin only. She is discussing something about the new project and wanted the record of all the previous projects and deals. I should go now otherwise She will scold me.

The peon ran away leaving behind a fuming OmRu.

Rudra: Did you see O? How she cleverly took the employers in her side?
Om: We should have seen this coming.
Rudra: I won’t sit back. I am going to ask her.

Before Om could say anything, Rudra went towards Shivaay’s cabin.

*Shivaay’s cabin*
Anika(standing behind the table): So am I clear with all everything?
Staffs: Yes Ma’am.
Anika: Good. ( sees the peon entering) What took you so much time?
Peon: Sorry ma’am. But Om sir and Rudra Sir had stopped me in between.
Anika: They are here?
Peon: Yes Ma’am.
Anika(taking a deep breath): Okay. ( To the staffs) I’m again telling you all, you all are free to.....

Door bangs open startling everyone. Rudra entered furiously along with Om.

Rudra(angry): How dare you? How dare you take all the employers of our company?
Anika(calm voice): I haven’t.
Rudra: Then why is....(he looks around the room to see only 5 of their employers who were always on their Shivaay sir’s side along with Mishra and Khanna)
Anika: Anything else you need?
Rudra: Where are the other employers?
Anika: In the conference room waiting for you both. (Rudra was about to leave) Wait. ( walks in front of them) At least listen to me before going.
Om: What is there to listen?
Anika: It will be beneficial for the Oberoi industries only.
Rudra: What do you mean to say?
Anika: Just like the way, you both have divided the mansion into two equal halves.... I am also dividing the company into two equal halves.

It came as a shock for OmRu. But what were they more concerned about was the brand name. Will she keep it with her or....

Anika: Don’t worry. I am not interested in your so called brand ‘Oberois' . Haa but one thing I will not leave is this cabin. This belongs to my husband and I will never leave it. This building will have two companies- one The Oberoi industries and the other Shivika. I hope I’m clear with it?
Rudra: How can decide everything without our consent?
Anika: Why can’t I? Did you ask me before dividing the mansion? No right. Then forget about me telling you about this. Now you can leave Mr. Rudra and Mr. Omkara. I have a meeting with my staffs.

Ignoring them, she went and sat on a different chair. Om and Rudra gave her a last look and left. She looked at the closed door and sighed.

Anika(to the staffs): Yaa... so what was I talking about?

The whole passed by. Anika was fully engrossed in her work and had very efficiently skipped her meals. Khanna and Mishra were always by her side as well as her loyal employers. It was almost passed midnight but she was still inside the files and laptop. Everyone had left except she. Someone knocked the door and she allowed the person to enter.

Khanna: Anika....
Anika(looks up from her files): Oh... Khanna Bhaiya. You here... (looks at her watch) You should be going back home....
Khanna: And you?
Anika: What me? Can’t you see I have so much work?
Khanna: Anika you are stressing yourself a lot. You didn’t even take food and now it is passed midnight and you are still working. It can’t work like that. No... Now leave all these and let me drop you home. Come.
Anika(emotional): Which home Khanna Bhaiya? Which home? Where I will enter to witness an empty room .... where my sister can’t stand me.... where my lovely devars hate me..... where I am not needed. That is not home Khanna Bhaiya..... That is not home.
Khanna: I can understand what you are feeling but that doesn’t mean you will stay here the whole night. I will not allow you. Come on leave all these and let’s go home.
Anika(pleading eyes): Please Khanna Bhaiya. I don’t want to go back. Please.
Khanna: Then I will also not leave you here alone. I will stay here the whole night with you.
Anika: But....
Khanna: No arguments. I am here to protect my sister and I have full right.

She helplessly agreed and continued with her work. Khanna brought some food for her which she ate very little and continued with work.

Anika(thinking): For the past one year, OmRu has neglected all these works because it was Shivaay’s. Many of his clients have left because of it. But I won’t let that happen. I will make everything perfect just the way it was. I can’t let my Shivaay loose.

Like this she would always stay back in the office late night, skip her meals and work hard. She would hardly go back home and none were bothered about it.

Days passed by..... Anika got the news of Rikara and Ruvya's marriage date and was happy for them. Because, she was Anika and she still had soft corner for them specially her sister. Though she wasn’t invited and she wasn’t in a mood to attend it too because she didn’t want to ruin their happy moment. But being an elder sister, she had some responsibilities and she will fulfil it. By selling her jewellery, she bought two pairs of bangles made of gold for both Gauri and Bhavya. She could easily use Shivaay’s money and buy it but she always wanted to give her something from her own. During the day of marriage, she had left home very early even before anyone would get up. Though Khanna, she had sent those gifts and was praying that they accepted it. But.....

*Next day of marriage *
Anika entered being fully exhausted and tired. She didn’t look at anything and was about to go strait to the room when a box fell in front of her feet and the contents of it came out. She looked at closely to see the bangles that she had gifted to Gauri. She picked it up and looked at the other side of the hall to see her sister.

Gauri: Who told you to send these? Did I ask your favour?
Anika: Gauri.... I....
Gauri: No need to show fake sympathy. My husband has enough money and he can afford jewellery for me. I don’t need anything from a murderer's wife.

And from that moment, she became Mrs. Gauri Omkara Singh Oberoi for her. Keeping the bangles safely, she was about to go again when she saw a shadow behind a pillar with the same box. She understood that it was Bhavya.

Anika: If you also don’t want too from a murderer's wife, you can return it back to me.
Bhavya(coming out of her hideout): Bhabi....
Anika: It's totally fine. Why would you accept anything from a murderer's wife? Who knows I might have kept something in it or not? No problem. ( asks for the box) Give me.
Bhavya(Keeping the box close to her chest): I didn't come here to return the box.
Anika: Then?
Bhavya: This is very precious for me. This isn’t only a gift but yours and Baade bhaiya's blessing for me.
Anika(emotional): But your husband won’t like it if you take it Mrs. Bhavya.
Bhavya: It is my wish what I will keep and what not. And don’t worry bhabi (keeps close to her chest) I will surely wear it and always keep with me. Can I ask something from you? (Anika asked what in gesture) Can.... can I take your blessings? Please.....

She agreed to her wish. Bhavya stepped forward but the white line stopped her. She looked at her but Anika could only give her a helpless look. Without crossing the line, Bhavya bent down while looking at her and touch the ground just in front of her as if she is touching Anika’s feet. Anika couldn’t control her tears and let them flow freely. She raised her head and blessed her. Anika couldn't control herself anymore and ran away from there to the room. Bhavya saw her and felt extremely bad.

*Shivika’s room*
Anika ran into the empty room and fell on her knees crying bitterly. Her sister didn’t accept her gift while the other girl despite knowing the fact that her husband will become angry on her , she still took the gift in the form of blessing. She cried a lot thinking about her sister's behaviour and slowly dropped on the ground being exhausted. The room was literally empty..... no bed, no couch, nothing. Slowly her cries subdued but silent tears were still flowing down. Slowly, sleep took over her going into the world of her Shivaay.

Days rolled by ....
Months came and went....
But nothing changed in her life. Whenever people wanted would taunt her for being a murderer's wife but she would always stay strong and keep her head high. But in one such occasion she was totally broken.....

*Karwa Chauth*

Today was Karwa Chauth and Anika like always had kept a fast for Shivaay. Why not? After all he is very much important for her. Though she had fast, she was in office because one very important client was supposed to come for a deal. He was coming to do deal with Shivaay Singh Oberoi and she couldn’t be more happier for it. She has given her 100% in it. Someone knocked at the door breaking her thoughts. And Mishra entered informing her about the client. She arranged everything and said him to take it all to the board room.

*Board room*
Anika entered and greeted him.

Anika: Welcome Mr. Desai.
Desai: Pleasure meeting you Mrs. Oberoi.
Anika: Anika will be fine. So shall we?
Desai: Sure.

She gave the presentation very well and discussed everything with him. He seemed to be pleased with her presentation but she was unaware of what was coming next.

Desai: Our company is ready to accept the deal.
Anika(happy): That is a good thing. I’m so happy that we are merging again.
Desai: But I have some clauses....
Anika: What clauses Mr. Desai?
Desai: Nothing much.... (holds her hand in wrong way) Just a night with me.... And I promise I will make Shivaay Singh Oberoi's company reach heights.
Anika(moves her hand away): How dare you?
Desai: Aare what is bad in it? See your husband Shivaay Singh Oberoi is in jail and he won’t be coming out so soon and even if he comes, he won’t be able to satisfy you. So it’s better that I or rather we just get along with each other. Trust me no-one will come to know about it.
Anika(gets up from chair): Leave.... Just leave I said.
Desai(standing up): Why? Did Shivaay make you more satisfied or you have doubt on my capability?
Anika(shouts): Just get out. ..... Out.....
Desai: Why are you shouting? Isn’t it common for you? After all you are a Rakhale.....

She froze hearing it. Did she just say that she is a Rakhale? No... She isn’t. She is not .... She has a respect.... She has an identity. She is someone’s wife. No... She is not a Rakhale. Her marriage scene flashed in front of her eyes making her weak as well as her fast. She couldn’t answer back. She lost her balance and fell down on the ground. The noise alerted Khanna and he ran inside to see the scenario. He was unable to comprehend anything when....

Desai: Hard luck for me. But I must say Shivaay Singh Oberoi has got one beauty for him.

Everything fell into place now. Without wasting any time, Khanna pushed him out of the cabin and finally out of the office premises. But before he could return back to Anika....

Desai: Which number are you?
Khanna(angry): How dare you speak like that? Anika is my sister. And before my brotherly anger comes out just get lost.

Desai just straighten his coat and went. Khanna was about to go back to Anika when someone’s murmur stopped him. He followed and saw the most unexpected thing he could ever imagine.

Desai: I did whatever you had said me to do. So is the deal still on?
Rudra(shocking for readers): Of course. It is still on. Thank you Mr. Desai.
Desai: Don’t thank me Rudra. I’m a very old client of your father and I would always do deals with you and Omkara not with some criminal.
Rudra: I know that is why I had said you to do all these. Thank you so much.

They shook hands and Desai went. Rudra had a cunning smile on his face. Khanna came out of his shock and went.

*Cabin*
Khanna entered to see the cabin empty. He became scared. Where is Anika? He looked at the bathroom , the personal room but everything was empty. He went out of the room and asked everyone but answer was no. He was getting restless. Thinking for sometime, he went towards the elevator and pressed T.

*Terrace*
Cold wind were blowing making her hair fly. It was almost evening and she had to return back home to complete her puja. But she was tired.... Today she was very tired both physically and mentally. She can bear every taunt but not this one. It always pulls down her confidence and at that time she needs someone who will cocoon her and protect her but.....

“ Anika....”, came the voice of her protective brother.

Anika: I’m fine Khanna Bhaiya.
Khanna: What are you doing here? I was searching for you everywhere.
Anika: I just wanted some fresh air. That’s it.
Khanna: Anika you know right you can share whatever you want to me.....
Anika(sad smile): I know Khanna Bhaiya. Can we go home? I need to do puja.
Khanna: Let's go.

They left the office after giving holiday to others.

*Oberoi mansion*
Anika went straight to the room without looking at anything. The mansion was decorated beautifully but only on one side. Some guests were present and were talking about it.

G1: The Oberois were always know for their unity now see what happened.
G2: Yaa. It had to happen. Shivaay has killed Tej and do you think they will allow Anika to stay with them?
G3: I have heard that they didn’t even consider Anika as their DIL initially but then suddenly why that Muh dekhai rasam.
G1: That girl is only inauspicious.
G2: Yes.

They weren’t too low voiced that she couldn’t hear. But she had stopped her system to get effected by it because currently her full attention was only on her husband's well being. She took a relaxing bath and changed herself into a simple red sari with her mangalsutra sindoor and the bracelet that he had given her. She went down and to her temple.... Yes everything got separated even the pious place called mandir. She arranged everything on her plate and went back to the room ignoring the other side.

*Pool side*

Sitting by the poolside, she looked up to the sky to trace the moon but seems like it was being stubborn and not coming out. Sighing, she looked at the blue water and their small yet hot romantic moment flashed in front of her eyes. She touched the still calm water causing ripples. Yes, she isn’t afraid of water anymore but she still afraid to go in without him. She looked at the side where they had spent a night together sleeping under the stars during his Manju Singh Awara time. She smiled thinking about those moments. She again looked up and there it was the moon in its full glory. She stood up but instantly sat down due to extreme weakness. Her heart whispered his name to be by her side. Gaining some strength, she again stood up and succeeded. Taking a deep breath, she started with her puja. She looked up at moon through the sheive praying silently. She opened her eyes and took Shivaay’s photo in front when a hand stopped her. She looked and found Shivaay , himself standing in front of her. She couldn’t believe her eyes and her tears started flowing. Shivaay gave her a small smile and nodded no. She looked at him through the shieve and prayed silently. She closed her eyes and opened it to find no-one in front of her. She became shocked. She looked around the place and found it empty.

Anika: Shivaay.... Where are you? Shivaay..... Shivaay.....

She kept on calling him but he never came. Khanna heard her shouts and entered the poolside. She was a crying mess looking around the place like a mad person.

Khanna: Anika what happened?
Anika(goes to him): Khanna Bhaiya.... did you see Shivaay? He... he was here.... I saw him. He had come. He... he was here. Tell me naa .... Where is Shivaay?
Khanna: Anika.... Shivaay sir can’t come here. He is in.....
Anika(shouts and pushes him away): No.... he was here. He was with me. He had come. Shivaay..... Shivaay......
Khanna(holds her by shoulder and stops her): Anika.... Shivaay Sir isn’t here. Try to understand. He isn’t here.

She stopped her ranting and understood what happened just now. She was dreaming about him and....

Anika(freeing herself): I’m fine..... I’m fine. You can go Khanna Bhaiya. I will complete the puja.

Khanna couldn’t see Anika like that. His eyes filled up with tears and he left her alone. Anika completed her puja and finally drank water. She looked up at the moon as if trying to communicate with it. Giving it a final look, she went down to keep the plate and have her dinner.

*An hour later*

“Anika.... Anika....”, shouts were heard that echoed the whole Oberoi mansion. Anika who was in her temple came out hearing her name. She saw a flaring Rudra and a crying Bhavya behind him trying to stop him.

Anika(calm tone): What happened?
Rudra: What are you trying do?
Anika: What did I do?
Rudra: Don’t try to act smart. ( showing her the bangles) By giving jewellery to my wife, are you trying to make her go against us?
Anika: It is just a gift for her marriage.
Rudra: We don’t need anything from you..... Understand? And stop interfering in our matter.... Whether it is business or personal matter.

He threw the bangles which handed just in front of her feet, and he went away. Bhavya was about to apologise to Anika when Rudra's loud voice stopped her.

Rudra: Dare you do anything Mrs. Rudra Singh Oberoi. Otherwise I won’t take time to divorce you the next moment.

Bhavya and Anika were shocked hearing him. Anika didn’t want any kind of misunderstanding between them. She took the bangles from the ground and disappeared into the darkness. But as usual nothing can go unnoticed from Khanna eyes.

From that day onwards, Anika rarely returned home. Her home was Shivaay’s cabin only. She would work very hard and grab all the deals. Slowly, Shivika industries was gaining it's popularity in the business world. This didn’t go well with OmRu especially Rudra. Many times he tried to break her self confidence by taunting her saying ill about her or Shivaay. But every time, she emerged more confident than before.

*One year later*
Anika had become a pure workaholic just like her husband. She doesn’t care about her health or anything. The only thing that kept on going was that Shivaay will be released within 2 years. She had decided to change everything. She changed their room completely except the dreamcatcher. Admist all these She failed to look after Priyanka.

Priyanka was depressed and she had no-one to share her thoughts and feelings. Until one day, a weird coloured bottle caught her attraction. She gulped it and found instant peace. And there, she goes being an alcoholic. No-one would care about her until one day Anika found her along the road side drunk. She cursed herself for being such an irresponsible bhabi. Anika tried to bring her out of the addict but failed.

*6 months later*
*Shivika Industries *

Anika: We have got the opportunity to grab this fabulous deal which not only will take Shivika industries to the top but to the Asia’s top most leading company.
S1: That is such a good news ma’am.
S2: Yes Ma’am.
Anika: Yes it is. But we all need to work upon this to grab that deal.
S3: Ma’am... Are the Oberoi industries also in it?
Anika: Not only Oberois but all the leading companies of Mumbai are in it. And no means I’m going to leave this opportunity.
S4: How many days we have ma’am?
Anika: 1 month. In this one month we have to show our best and make our company proud. Sometimes you all might have to do overtime but I promise to give one week leave to all of you after we crack this deal.
S5: No need ma’am.
S1: Yes Ma’am. We are happy to work for you and Shivaay sir.
S2: And don’t worry we will give our best.
Anika: Thank you so much. I don’t know what would have I done without your support. Thank you so much.
S3: Ma’am you are making us outsider now.
S4: Yes Ma’am.
S5: We are one team.
Anika(smiles lightly): Yes one team.

And from the next day, everyone started working on it. Anika very efficiently distributed the work among all her stuffs so that none gets overworked. Most of the thing she would handle. Not only staffs but the peons were also on their toes supplying everyone with coffee or tea and food on the correct time. Anika’s only focus was on the deal so that when her Shivaay returns then he doesn’t need to work hard and he feels proud on her. Like this the month was almost at the verge of ending. Anika was more dedicated into her work. Everything was on tract until.....

*10 days before the meeting*

Anika: Shila(One of the staffs) I want you to have a copy of this presentation and everything with you. And I also want that you be ready to give the presentation also.
Shila: But why ma’am? Aren’t you supposed to be the one giving it?
Anika: Yes.... but what if they demand that the boss won’t give but the employer has to give. Then? So it’s better that you prepare everything and be ready.
Shila(scared): Will I be able to do ma’am? I have never done this before. What if I fail?
Anika: You know Shila.... Before I joined this company and took over everything even I also had the same doubt. Will I able to do? What if instead of making Shivaay’s name big I bring it down? I had all these fears in my mind. But see now I’m successfully handling the business. Just try to be confident and I’m sure you can do it.
Shila(confidently): Yes Ma’am. I will surf do it. I won’t let the name of the company and Shivaay sir go down.
Anika: That’s the spirit. Now you leave it’s already too late.  I will mail you everything and then you can prepare yourself.
Shila: Sure ma’am. ( about to go)
Anika: Wait. I will tell Khanna Bhaiya to drop you.
Shila: Its not needed ma’am. I will manage....
Anika: No... How is it not needed ? It is my responsibility that my employees reach home safe. And because of me You are already late. No. I will ask Khanna Bhaiya to drop you.
Shila(smile): Thank you Ma’am.
Anika(smiles lightly): It's fine. Now go.

Shila went while Anika called up Khanna and instructed him to drop Shila. She continued to work for sometime and finally decided to leave for home.

Anika: Khanna Bhaiya isn’t here yet. What should I do? I can go back in cab. Not a problem.

She booked a cab for herself and went. Just as she left, someone came out of the building and smirked.

“Good bye..... Anika Bhabi....”

Anika was engrossed in music and trying to relax herself with her eyes closed. Suddenly, she felt a big hit at her side and then everything went dark.

Khanna had reached office to see it closed. He was confused.

Khanna: Anika kaha gayi? Watchman....
Watchman: Yes.
Khanna: Did you see Anika ma’am?
Watchman: Yes. She took a cab and went.
Khanna: When?
Watchman: Just now. Few minutes ago.
Khanna: Okay thank you.

He speed the car towards the direction where Anika’s cab went. After a few distance he saw a cab and was about to overtake it to stop it when...... a truck just hit it from its side and the car just dashed to the tree at the corner of the road. Khanna could just see whatever happened in front of him and stopped the car. He got down hurriedly to help the accident victims only to snatch his breath away.

Khanna(shouts): Anika.....

He tried every possible way to break the window or anything but nothing worked. He frantically tried opening the door and at last succeeded. He also got hurt but he was least bothered. Her head was bleeding profusely and she was unconscious. He hurried took her to the car and drove towards the hospital.

*Hospital*

Khanna frantically shouted for doctors and nurses with Anika in his arms. Finally, Doctor Ishana came up to them and took her to the operation theatre. Khanna could only do one thing that is to pray for his sister's wellbeing.

*An hour later*
Doctor came out and Khanna along with Mishra, who had come to give moral support to Khanna, went to her.

Ishana: Its an accident case.
Khanna: Yes doctor. Please save her.  Please.
Ishana: But I can’t start the operation without family member's consent. Please call her husband.
Khanna(eyes filled with tears): Doctor... He....
Mishra(strong): Doctor,  she is Mrs. Anika Shivaay Singh Oberoi.
Ishana(shocked): Oh my God. I’m so sorry. I didn’t....
Mishra: We can understand doctor. Now you can start?
Ishana: But I still need a sign in the consent form.
Khanna: Can I sign?
Ishana: You are her?
Khanna: Brother....
Ishana: Okay.

She forwarded the papers. Khanna with shaking hands took the pen but was unable to sign. Mishra gave him support and he signed it.

Ishana: I would like you to be ready with blood. She has suffered huge blood loss.
Khanna: Okay Doctor.

Ishana went giving them hope for best. Khanna sat down on the chair and tried thinking how to arrange for blood.

Khanna: How do I arrange for blood now?
Mishra: Anika ma’am sister, Gauri.
Khanna: She won’t help.
Mishra: At least we can try once. Maybe she does.

Khanna reluctantly called Gauri who didn’t pick up the call on the first time. He was not going to call when Mishra told him to call once again. Khanna called again and she picked it up.

*Phone conversation*
Gauri(sleepy voice): Hello....
Khanna(crying voice): Gauri....
Gauri: Who?
Khanna: Khanna.... Khanna Bhaiya.
Gauri(irritated voice): What happened Khanna Bhaiya? Why are you calling me at midnight?
Khanna: Anika.... Anika met with an accident.
Gauri: So?
Khanna(shocked): Gauri....
Gauri: See... I know that is her new trick to get me back in her life. But let me tell you I’m not going to fall in it.
Khanna: Gauri.... You have forgotten she is your elder sister .....
Gauri: She is no-one to me. Now let me sleep. And tell her not to try any more tricks.

*Conversation ends*

Khanna had tears flowing down his eyes thinking about Gauri. Mishra saw it and asked.

Mishra: What happened?
Khanna: Gauri refused to help. She thinks Anika is pretending and it is her new trick.
Mishra(angry): How can she even thing like that?
Khanna: I don’t care about her. Now I just need to save Anika otherwise I don’t know how will I show my face to Shivaay sir.
Mishra: We will arrange blood. Let me call the blood banks and ask.

Mishra went aside and asked all the possible blood banks for A-ve blood. But it wasn’t available at all.

Nurse(from OT): Has the blood been arranged?
Khanna: Just give us few more hours.
Nurse: Fast. Patient is getting critical.

Khanna broke down hearing about her condition. Mishra was still trying to keep his composer. Finally after a long struggle , they could arrange for blood. Now they were only waiting for some good news.

But as it is said when God has to give miseries it gives in full volume.

*3 hours later *

Ishana walked out of the operation theatre with a straight face. She debating how to disclose the matter to them. But she couldn’t think for long as Khanna and Mishra stopped her.

Khanna: How is my sister doctor?
Mishra: Yes doctor. How is Anika ma’am?
Ishana(looked at them and sighed): I don’t know how to say. But....
Khanna: Anything serious doctor?
Ishana: Anika’s condition isn’t good. She has a serious head injury which has causing severe brain haemorrhage. She has a tumour too but that isn’t much of a problem. Problem is the blood clot that is there. Her chances of survival is very thin.

It came as a sky crashing down on their head. No this can’t happen or how can they stand in front of Shivaay sir? No....

Khanna: Doctor there must be some way to save my sister. Please do anything but please save my sister.
Ishana: We are trying our level best. If we see that She is responding well then she might start recovering. But currently the next 24 hours is very much crucial for her.

She walked away leaving the two broken souls. Nothing could be done now except praying.

It is said right.... People who are good to others, God can’t be so cruel towards them. Within 12 hours Anika was showing some amount of response to the treatment that was simply miracle. The whole office staffs were praying for her. And finally.....

*24 hours later*

Ishana(smiles little): She is out of danger now.
Everyone: Thank you God.
Ishana: But....
Khanna(scared): But what?
Ishana: I have no idea when she will wake up.
Khanna: Means?
Ishana: I had said about the brain haemorrhage she experienced. For that I did a surgery and generally when the brain is affected it takes longer time for patients to recover.
Khanna: How much time?
Ishana: No idea. Depends upon the time it takes to heal up. It can take one week or month or years. Nothing can be said.

She dropped the ultimate news to them leaving them in tears.

Shila: Then what about the deal that is after 10 days?
Mishra: You are still thinking about the deal when Anika ma’am is such a state?
S2: Trust me Sir. We don't want to think about it. But what will happen if ma’am comes to know that we backed off due to her?
S3: Yes sir. Anika ma'am won’t feel happy if we back off.
S4: She has worked so hard on it. How can we let it go waste?
Mishra: Okay. But how is it possible?
Shila: Don’t worry sir. Ma’am has already given all the necessary things required for it to me and I have prepared everything.
Mishra: Just good.

Khanna used to stay with Anika while in the office everyone worked with the last finishing touch of the meeting.

*Day of meeting*

Everything was set. All the high business companies were present along with Shivika’s. Mishra was in charge while Shila would be presenting. Oberois were also present and they had a winning smile on their face.

One by one all the companies were giving their presentations. Even Oberois had also given. Finally, it was time for Shivika industries. Shila went up the stage and was about to start when the client stopped her.

Client: Are you Mrs. Anika Shivaay Singh Oberoi?
Shila: No. I’m one of the employer of Shivika industries.
Client: Where is Mrs. Anika Shivaay Singh Oberoi?
Shila: Sir...She met with....

“ I’m here Ladies and Gentlemen....”

Everyone turned back to see Anika dressed up in a simple pink black sari with a huge bandage on her head sitting on a wheelchair. She gave a professional smile to everyone and wheeled herself towards the stage.

Anika: Sorry for the inconvenience caused. Actually I met with a small accident so I became late.
Client(concerned tone): Are you fine Mrs. Oberoi? If not then your employer can give the presentation.
Anika: No... No... I’m absolutely fine. I will give the presentation. No issues.

She tried getting up from the wheelchair but failed. Taking a deep breath, she stood up and slowly went up to the stage. Shila stood beside her giving her support. She started presenting it while everyone was engrossed in it. But one person was surely shocked.

Anika(at the end): That’s it.

Huge round of applause roared throughout the hall and she let her body loose almost falling over Shila. She was made to sit on the wheelchair and given water.

Mishra: Ma’am how come you are here? You were....
Anika: Its not the time to discuss all these Mishra ji. Call Khanna Bhaiya and tell him to get my medicines.

Mishra followed her ordered and Khanna in no time was beside her with her medicines. She ate them and closed her eyes till the thank you speech was being given.

Client: I am very much surprised to see the growing companies in India specially The Oberois and Shivika. Today I have come across almost 10 companies and the presentations given by all were fabulous. But as I had already said before that only one company will get that opportunity to work with us. And I am happy to announce that the company is none other than.....

Everyone’s breath was on hold. Anika was just praying silently in her mind and remembering her Shivaay.

Client: Shivika industries.....

Everyone jumped up in joy hearing it. Anika just let her tear flow through her closed eyes. Mishra went up the stage but ....

Client: I would like to go down to Mrs. Anika Shivaay Singh Oberoi to sign the deal.

He smiled and went to Anika. With shaking hands, she signed the papers sealing the deal in their name.

*Oberoi mansion*
OmRu entered looking angry and frustrated. Their wives tried to ask them But they ignored them and went. Few minutes later, they heard a screeching sound. They turned towards the door to see Anika being wheeled into the mansion by Shila. Bhavya was shocked seeing her state and for the first time after all these days and months was also shocked seeing her.

Bhavya: Bhabi.... what....
Anika(ignoring them): Shila can you please drop me to my room?
Shila: Sure ma’am.

Shila pushed the wheelchair and disappeared. Gauri was feeling as if someone has snatched her soul from her. Her tears were flowing down and she was still.

Gauri(murmurs): That means that day Khanna Bhaiya was saying the truth. Anik.... Do actually met with an accident and ..... How could even think like that? How ?
Bhavya(holding her shoulder): Bhabi?
Gauri(crying voice): Bhavya.... that day Khanna Bhaiya had called me at night. But.... I...how could I.... how could I even think like that?
Bhavya: Don’t worry bhabi. Nothing has happened to Anika Bhabi. She is fine.
Gauri: But Bhavya anything could have happened to her. How could I become so blind in love that I forgot my own sister? How?

Bhavya couldn’t console her and just hugged her. Gauri realised what she had done but seems like it was too late. Anika never bothered about the Oberoi family anymore and she was just waiting for her Shivaay. Gauri tried every single way to ask forgiveness but.... no.

*2 years later*

Anika had fully recovered from the accident. But she would occasionally get headaches which she always ignored. Khanna had tried to send her to the doctor but she always sidelined it. Until....

*5 days before Shivaay’s release*

Anika was working in the office with full attention but her headache was increasing continuously. Her eyes were turning blurry but she shook her head thinking that she was feeling sleepy. Still it didn’t work. She thought of talking a walk and freshen herself. As soon as she stood up, her head hurt badly and she held on to it. Her eyes became blurry and the next moment She was on the ground unconscious. Someone was knocking on her door continuously but didn’t gat any reply. The door opened and entered Shila. She looked around to find the cabin empty. She shrugged her shoulder and kept the file on the table when a price of cloth caught her attention. She went behind the desk and saw an unconscious Anika.

Shila(shocked and screamed): Anika ma’am.....

Hearing her, everyone entered and witnessed Shila sprinkling water over Anika’s face. Khanna acted fast and took her to the car to the hospital along with Shila.

*Hospital*
Ishana was checking Anika and had a worried expression on her face.

Khanna: What happened to Anika?
Ishana: Did she have headaches recently?
Khanna: Yes. I even told her to consult a doctor even gave her painkiller but she always refused it.
Ishana: We need to do a CT scan immediately.
Khanna(confused): Okay.

After all the tests are done, Anika was almost awake. She was drinking juice while getting scolded from her Bhaiya. Ishana entered the room saving her.

Anika: Thank God you came doctor. Otherwise Khanna Bhaiya would have eaten up my head.
Ishana(serious voice): Anika....
Anika(becomes serious): Anything serious?
Ishana: It is quiet serious. You are aware that you are suffering from brain tumour right? ( she nodded) I had even said that it isn’t fatal. ( she nodded) But I guess now it’s become too fatal and causing life threat to you.
Anika: How?
Ishana: I guess doing tumour accident 3 years back had caused blood accumulation in the tumour due to which you are experiencing head aches. And today due to extreme stress it triggered making you unconscious.
Anika(calm voice): What is to be done now?
Ishana: We need to operate it as soon as possible and it would be better if you inform the family about it.
Anika: How much time I have for the operation?
Ishana: Maximum 6 months.
Anika: Hmm.... Can I be discharged?
Ishana: I will bring the papers. ( she went)
Anika: Khanna Bhaiya.... promise me that you won’t tell anything to Shivaay regarding my health or anything that has happened in 5 years. Promise me.
Khanna: I can’t Anika. I can’t....
Anika: Aapko meri kasam......

He agreed helplessly. Ishana had informed Khanna that Anika should never be overstressed Otherwise it would be harmful for her health. Gauri had enquired everything about Anika’s health and when she heard about the tumour she was shocked. She tried to talk to Omkara regarding it but he gave deaf ears to it. Anika continued her life and 5 days later came the day of her Shivaay’s release.....

*FLASHBACK ENDS*

Khanna stopped and Shivaay immediately left the garden. He went inside the mansion and saw Ishana. She nodded her head agreeing to his unasked question. He went up the stairs to reach his strength.

*Anika’s room*
Shivaay entered the room and directly went to her and kissed her forehead lovingly. He broke the kiss and sat down beside her holding her hand tightly. Her bracelet was still with him and he wasn’t willing to let it go so soon.

Shivaay(whispers): You are seriously mad.... Too mad. ( carenessing her cheek) Who does like this? Why do you have to do so much for me? Who told you to risk your life? Who said to claim my shares? Who said you to take my place in business? Who? ........ No-one. But you still did. And emerged as a lioness. But in all these you forgot to live. You forgot your own self. You forgot who you are. You didn’t even care about Sahil and just gave your life for me. I don’t deserve so much Anika. I don’t. I’m always cursed from my birth and now you are also facing the same by staying with me. But you remember you had said that because of me You are what you are and for me You are my everything..... My family....My wife..... My Life..... My Pride..... And (gets angry) Whoever tries to play foul game with my Pride..... The lion won’t sit back. He not only will roar but tear away the reasons for His Life’s suffering. The world needs to get ready to witness the Shivaay Singh Oberoi..... in a new form.

*Next day*
Anika flickered her eyes and opened them slowly. Her vision was blurry for sometime but it eventually got cleared. She could feel someone holding her hand tightly and she couldn't miss the touch. She turned to her right to see the most unexpected sight. Shivaay in his usual attire the three piece suit but this time it is coloured just like the way she loves with a small smile on his face. She was highly confused seeing his change in just less than a day.

Shivaay(sweetly): Good morning Jaan.....

Another shock. He and nicknames never go together then how.....

Shivaay(carenessing her hair): How are you feeling? Better?

She nodded her head in agreement and he smiled.

Shivaay: I will call Ishana and come.

He was about to go but her hold stopped him. He looked back and saw her staring at him.

Shivaay: What happened Jaan? You want something?
Anika: What happened to you?
Shivaay: Nothing. I’m absolutely fine.
Anika(tries to get up): Shivaay....
Shivaay(helps her): Who said you to get up?
Anika: Shivaay....(holds his hand in hers) Please tell me what happened?  Suddenly this much change. Kuch hua hai naa....
Shivaay(cupping her face lightly): Joh hona tha ho gaya. Aab sab thik karne ki baari hai.
Anika(confused): Matlab?
Shivaay(smiles lightly): You just need to take rest and leave everything to me. I will call Ishana.

Kissing the back of her hand, he went leaving her in full dilemma. Soon Ishana checked her and allowed her to be taken home and in no time Shivaay swept her up from the bed and walked out with Khanna behind him. Anika could only blush and hide her face in his chest. Khanna opened the door for them and they settled down and started their journey towards Oberoi mansion. In the meantime Anika’s phone rang flashing Mishra ji. She was about to pick it up when it got snatched from her. She was confused and saw Shivaay speaking.

Shivaay: Mishra.... I want everyone to be present in the office by sharp 10 am. And you know that I don’t like to wait for anyone. ( he cut the call and returned back the phone)
Anika(confused): Shivaay.... What is happening?  Please tell me.
Shivaay(looks at her): Anika whatever I will do you will stay beside me naa?
Anika(holds his hand tightly): Shivaay, I’m always beside you no matter what.
Shivaay: Then trust me I will set everything back to normal. I promise.

She nodded her head but she still couldn’t stop thinking about it. He slowly pulled her towards him and laid her head on his chest. She was shocked seeing the close proximity between them. But she still didn’t move. He kissed her hair lovingly. Everything was shocking for her but his hold on her hand didn't get loose at all.

Well jokes apart.....I guess the TS will not be completed within 3 chapters. Does anyone have any problem in it? I guess no... Still.....
