A WEEK LATER

There was hustle-bustle everywhere as it was Shivaay and Anika's wedding.

Rudra was running here and there to check all the arrangements.

Shivaay came out of the room, dressed up in his white and maroon sherwani.

S- Rudra, ye kya pehna diya hai tune apun ko. Aisa lag raha hai jaise peeche se koi mera gala daba ke khada hai. (Rudra, what have you made me wear? I feel that someone's pressing my neck from behind.)

Rudra chuckles.

R- Bhaiya, aap bahut ache lag rahe ho aur ye aaj kal ka fashion hai. (Bhaiya, you're looking nice. Anyways its latest fashion.)

S- Sach mein. Apun acha lag raha hai kya? Anika apun ko dekhke khush hogi kya? (Really? Am I looking good? Will Anika be happy after seeing me?)

R- Haan bhaiya, Anika bhabhi aapko dekh ke flat ho jayengi. (Yes bhaiya. Anika bhabhi will be impressed by you.)

S- Chalo fir theek hai. (Then it's fine.)

R- Bhaiya, chalo mandap pe chalte hain warna Muhurat ka time nikal jayega. (Bhaiya, let's go to the mandap otherwise the auspicious time will pass.)

S- Haan haan. Jaldi chal. (Yes. Hurry up.)

They went towards the mandap and Shivaay sat at the mandap. The priest started chanting mantras. Shivaay was looking here and there to find Anika.

S- Rudra, Anika kahan hai? (Rudra, where is Anika?)

Rudra chuckles at his excitement.

R- Bhaiya,thodi shanti rakho. Ye pooja khatam hone ke baad jab panditji bhabhi ko bulayenge toh bhabhi neeche aayengi Gauri didi ke saath. (Bhaiya, have some patience. After finishing this pooja, when panditji will call bhabhi then she will come downstairs along with Gauri didi.)

Shivaay frowns.

S- Ab ye pandit decide karega ki mere Anika kab aayegi? (Now this priest will decide when my Anika will come downstairs?)

R- Bhaiya......

P- Vadhu ko bulaiye. (Call the bride.)

Shivaay sighed in relief. After few minutes, Anika descended the stairs dressed up in her bridal attire.

Shivaay's mouth fell wide open after seeing Anika looking so beautiful.

S(whispered) - Atishay sundar (Very beautiful).

Anika noticed Shivaay's constant gaze on herself and she blushed.

Gauri made Anika sit at the mandap beside Shivaay.

Panditji was continuously calling Shivaay but he was lost in Anika's beauty.

P- Yajmaan (Mister.)

Gauri and Rudra chuckles at him while Anika blushed. She nudged him with her elbow and he came out of his trance.

S- Huh?

Anika signed him to look at panditji who was glaring at Shivaay.

The priest started chanting mantras. The priest asked them to take seven pheras of the Holy fire and they obeyed. They completed the pheras.
Shivaay filled Anika's parting with Vermillion and made her wear a nuptial chain.

Finally their wedding got completed and Shivika were bonded to each other forever.

Anika hugged Gauri and Shivaay hugged Rudra.

G- Congratulations Jiju And Anika. I am very happy for you both.

R- Congratulations Bhaiya - bhabhi.

Shivika smiled and thanked them.

G- Anika, I'm sorry. I've to go. It's urgent.

A- No problem.

Anika smiled and Gauri left.

A- Now let's go to our new house.

Anika said to Shivaay and Rudra. Anika forwarded her hand towards Shivaay and asked him for the Jeep keys. Shivaay handed her the keys..
Their new house was still a surprise for Shivaay and Rudra. They knew that they will be shifting to a new house but they never visited it.

Anika sat on the driver seat. Shivaay sat on the passenger seat while Rudra occupied the back seat. Anika started driving. Finally after 45 minutes of journey, they reached a huge building.

Anika held both Shivaay's and Rudra's hand and took them inside the building.

They were stunned by the interior of the building.

They entered the lift and Anika pressed the button of top floor.

The lift stopped and they came out of the lift. Anika unlocked the door and was about to step inside when Rudra stopped her.

R- Bhabhi, one minute.

Rudra took out some things from his bag like kalash, rice packet, a plate, a bottle of alta, a diya (or earthen lamp), and a packet of kumkum.

Rudra did all the preparations of Anika's grah pravesh. Anika's and Shivaay's heart swelled with happiness.

Anika had tears in her eyes. Rudra noticed it.

R- Bhabhi, aap ro kyun rahi hain? Maine kuch galat kiya kya? (Bhabhi, why are you crying? Did I do something wrong?)

Anika shook her head on no.

A- Ye khushi ke aansoo hain. (These are tears of happiness.)

Shivaay and Rudra smiled at her.

Rudra put the kalash filled with rice and a plate filled with alta in front of her. He lit the diya and did aarti of Shivaay and Anika. Then he asked Anika to kick the kalash and then dip her feet in the alta and imprint her footprints on a white cloth. Anika obeyed and did as said.

Finally her grah pravesh was also done.

They entered the house. Shivaay and Rudra were totally mesmerized by the beauty of the house.

A- Ye living room hai. (This is living room.)

She then took them to kitchen and dining room.

A- Ye dining area.

A- Aur ye kitchen. (And this is kitchen.)

R- Woow... Bhabhi.. Ye sab kitna sundar hai. (Everything is so beautiful.)

S- Haan. Par mehnga hoga na?(Yes. But it must be costly, right?)

A- Jo bhi hai humara hai. Humare sapno ka ghar aur usme main koi kami nahi hone de sakti. (Whatever it is, this is ours. Our Dream House and I can't let anything spoil it.)

Shivaay smiled and nodded his head.

A- Ok ab sabke bedrooms ki baari. (Now it's turn to see everyone's bedrooms.)

Anika held Shivaay's and Rudra's hand and ascended the stairs.

She opened a door.

A- This is guest bedroom.

She went ahead and opened a room beside the guest bedroom.

A- Rudra, this is your bedroom.

Rudra gets excited and he looks around.

R- Bhabhi, this is so nice. I love it. Thank you.

Anika smiled.

A- Anything for you.

Shivaay also smiled at their bond.

A- Aur agar tumhe kuch bhi chahiye toh mera aur Shivaay ka room corridor ke end mein hai. Ok. (If you need anything them mine and Shivaay's room is there at the end of the corridor. Ok?)

Rudra smiled and nodded his head.

Anika and Shivaay left his room and headed towards their room.

S- Arey waah.. Ye toh kitna acha hai. Bilkul jannat jaisa. (It's very beautiful. Just like heaven)

A- Tumhe pasand aaya?(Did you liked it?)

S- Arey bahut. Apun toh ab kamre se bahir hi nahi jayega. (Yes. I won't even step out of this room.)

Anika chuckles at him.

A- Abhi ek room baaki hai. (One room is still left.)

S- Aur kitne room?( How many rooms are left?)

A- Ye last hai. (This one is the last.)

Shivaay nodded and Anika took him to the room.

Shivaay was stunned to see the room.

S- Ye toh koi bache ka room lagta hai. Humare saath koi bacha bhi rahega kya?(This seems to be some child's bedroom. Will some child live with us?).

Shivaay asked in confusion. Anika smiled.

A- Ye humare bache ka room hai. (This is our baby's room.)

Shivaay looked at her shocked.

S-KYA? Par apun ka koi bacha nahi hai. (WHAT? But i dont have any baby.)

Anika face palmed.

A- Shivaay, tum hamesha mere surprise ka kachra kar dete ho. (Shivaay, you always spoil my surprise.)

Anika pouted in anger and finally Shivaay's bulb in the brain enlightened.

S- Tumhara matlab, humare jo bachche honge unka? (You mean, this room belongs to our future kids.)

A- Haan. (Yes)

Anika said with an angry pout. A naughty glint came in Shivaay's eyes.

S- Tumhe badi jaldi hai family planning ki? (You're very much in hurry for family planning.)

A- Why not? Mujhe jald se jald apni family complete karni hai (I want to complete my family as soon as possible.)

Shivaay immediately picked her up in his arms and Anika squealed in surprise.

S- Jaisa tum kaho, Rani-sa. (As you say highness).

Anika blushed and hid her face in his chest. Shivaay smiled and took her to their bedroom. That night they consummated their wedding.
