Shivika reached home and Shivaay called her.

A: Kya hua Shiv?

S: Tum jaake fresh ho jao..Mein dinner banadunga..

Anika nodded and left to her room. Shivaay left to prepare dinner. He was continuously thinking about Anika.

S(in mind):

Why did I say to Anu like that? But it came from my heart..The thought of she leaving me is making me sad..But why? Usko mein dukh nahi dekh sakta hoon..I always want her to be happy..I can't able to let her go from my sight..Why am I feeling like this?

Just then Shivaay hears Anika smiling and talking on her mobile. He understood that its her papa. He smiled seeing her talking like a baby to her papa, which she always is..said his heart. He just adored the peaceful smile on her face. Just then his gaze fell on her hand where that person had bruised her. He felt angry. Anika cut the call and moved towards him.

A: Shiv? Kya hua?

S: I'm sorry Anu..I couldn't help you..

A: Shiv why are you saying sorry? There is no mistake of yours in this. I don't like it when you think in that way.

S: Zyada dard ho raha hai kya?

He said caressing the wound. Anika nodded no but Shivaay understood that she was having pain.

S: Tum yaha baitho..I will arrange table for us..

Anika smiled. He made her settle down and arranged the table. He settled down in the chair next to her. Anika was about to eat when he stopped her.

A: Kya hua Shiv?

S: How will you eat Anu? I know your wound is still paining..

A: So?

S: Ms. Budhu, I was saying that I will make you eat today!

Anika blushed and tucked her hair. He took the spoon from her hand and started to make her eat. Then her gaze falls on Shivaay's hand.

A: Shiv, yeh kya hua?

He held his hand and brought it close to her. She saw her nail marks on his hand.

S: Anu kuch bhi nahi hai..

A: Chup rahiye! Yeh toh meri wajah se..Ek min rukiye yaha..

Tears started to flow from her eyes and she ran to bring first aid box. She then settled down near Shivaay and slowly raised his kurta sleeve and began to do first aid.

A: I m sorry Shiv..Meine dekha nahi...Zyada dard kar raha hai kya? Abh ointment laga liya na, pain nahi hoga..

She started to blow his hand and began to cry. Tears in her eyes were piercing his heart. He did not like it. He slowly raised her head and made her face him.

S: Anu, mujhe kuch nahi hua hai..I am fine..

A: Bataya kyu nahi ki mere wajah se..

S: Shh!

He placed his finger on her lips.

S: Meri baat sunogi?

A: Hmm..

Shivaay first wiped the tears that were literally killing him. He held her right hand between his hands.

S: Abh suno...Mujhe pain nahi ho raha hai and there is no need for you to say sorry..Isme tumhari koi galti nahi hai! And meine tujhe isiliye nahi bataya kyunki mujhe uss wakt tumhari chot ke alawa kuch dikh bhi nahi rahi thi..All I wanted to see is you getting relief from pain..Okay! And I don't like when my Anu cries, especially I hate it when the reason is me!

Anika looked into his eyes and smiled. He too smiled seeing her. He then looked at the food and looked back at her. She nodded no. He frowned. She again nodded no.

A: Shiv I am full upto here!(she said pointing upto her neck)

S: I don't care and you have to eat everything like a good girl!

A: Mujhe nahi khana!

S: Toh mujhe bhi nahi khana!

He turned his face to opposite side.

A: Acha theek hai, khalungi! Aise mujhse gussa mat ho!

She said with a defeated sigh. He smirked and both of them completed eating. Shivaay arranged everything on the dining table and Anika was busy admiring him. To fall in love with him is the best decision she took, her heart said. She blushed.

Shivaay settled down on the chair.

S: Anu, I think I have to dress up your wound!

She nodded. He slowly removed the cloth and he felt his blood boil seeing her wound.

S: Wada karta hoon Anu, I will not spare a single person!

He slowly dressed up the wound gently blowing on that place. Anika felt very much happy. All his actions are making her to fall more for him. But does he reciprocate the same feelings, her mind asked her. She felt in a dilemma. 

S: Anu kuch soch rahi ho?

A: Woh kuch nahi! Raat ho chuki hai,mujhe neend aa rahi hai!

He too nodded and both of them left to their rooms. She was about to step in to her room when he called her.

A: Kya hua Shiv?

S: Good night Anu!

A: Good night!

Both of them smiled and left to their rooms. Anika was not able to sleep. She was just staring at the ceiling and remembering his words.

Tujhe kuch ho jaata toh mein kya karta?Tumhare bina mein kya karunga? Shiv doesn't like Anu to cry..

She was just tossing on the bed from one side to other. His cute smile was never leaving her. His anger when she got hurt, his pain when when she winced in pain was roaming in her mind and heart.

A: I don't know whether he likes me or not...But I will always love only him. Shiv ke alawa mein kisi aur ke baare mein nahi sochungi..But I won't be able to accept Shiv's rejection...Mein toot jaungi..Isiliye meine decide kiya hai ki mein apni feelings ko bahar nahi laungi...Shiv aur mere beech mein jo kuch bhi hai, acha hai...let it continue the way it is..

She wiped a lone tear that passed from her eye. Anika moved to the cupboard and took out the photo frame he gifted. She moved towards the bed and caressed the picture. Hugging the frame tightly, she dozed off into sleep.

Next Day:

Anika was sitting in the balcony enjoying the sunrise as she got up very early. She was busy that she did not notice Shivaay sitting next to her.

S: Kuch soch rahi ho?

A: Ha..

She turned towards him.

A: Good morning!

S: Good morning! Kumbhkaran aaj jaldi kaise uth gayi?

A: Woh neend nahi aa rahi thi toh..

S: Koi baat hai joh tujhe pareshaan kar rahi hai?

Anika was silent and bent down her head. Shivaay shifted close to her.

S: Kya hua Anu? Koi problem hai kya?

A: Kuch bhi nahi...Papa ko miss kar rahi thi..Kuch nahi..I am fine.

She stood up and about to leave but Shivaay held her hand. He moved towards her and took her in a hug. She was shocked at first but slowly responded to him. She placed his hands around him tightly and feeling his warmth. His one hand was on her waist while the other one was caressing her soft locks. Both of them remained in the same position for a while.

S: Anu?

A: Hmm..

S: Are you okay now?

Anika nodded burying more in his warmth if possible. After a lot of time both of them parted. He looked into her eyes and gently tucked her hair.

S: Anu, tum jaake tayar ho jao...Mein breakfast bana dunga!

A: Shiv, let me prepare it today..please!

S: Anu tumhare haath abhi theek nahi hai! You just go and freshen up..Okay!

He said cupping her face. She nodded and left the place while Shivaay was thinking what happened to her, because he knows that she is not missing her dad. Then why did she lie to you asked his mind.

Anika was sitting near the dressing table drying her hair.

A(in mind):

Anu you can't go weak like this..Just be normal with him like the way you used to be..Can you see Shiv like this who got troubled seeing you in pain? Nahi na...Be like the way you always be..I will not trouble you Shiv..

She smiled and moved outside after making herself presentable. She saw Shivaay coming out of his room and talking on his phone. Seeing her he cut the call and moved towards her.

S: How r you feeling now?

A: Superb!

She said excitedly.

A: Acha mujhe na bohot bhook lag rahi hai! Khaana ban chuki hai?

She asked cutely making him giggle and nodded.

S: Waise Anu, the name khumbkaran aptly suits you! You either think about sleep or food!

She raised her eyes and looked at him frowning and pinched his shoulder.

S: Abh yeh kis keliye?

He asked rubbing the place.

A: Stop calling me khumbkaran!

He smirked and moved close to him.

S: Nahi toh!

A: Phir se paani phekungi!

She laughed her heart out. He smiled seeing her getting back to normal.

S: Acha chalo, khana khate hai!

She nodded and both of them were having breakfast.

S: Anu?

A: Hmm..

S: Anu, whats your plan on shopping?

A: Yeh toh mein bhool hi gayi thi..Sab ke liye gifts list banaya tha meine...Lekin time hi nahi mil rahi hai!

S: Anu, lets go today!

A: Really?

Shivaay nodded.

A: You r the bestest!

S: Woh toh mein jaanta hoon! In fact, mein thak chuka hoon aise comments sunke!

A: You r the worst!

S: Fhat the Wuck!

A: Sorry..I was just kidding!

Both of them giggled. Both of them move to office and involved in their works.
