Part 3

In these few months Shiva had been a supporting husband, he did his best to make his wife comfortable and ease her pain but there were days when he would again feel insecure and not worthy enough to deserve Raavi but now he can't voice them as he can't worry her with his insecurities.

Today Raavi gave it back to one of the mohalle ki aunties when they spoke ill about him but he didn't feel nice. He sat in the room thinking about all those things when he heard Raavi yelp in pain who was laying beside her.

'Kya hua Raavi?' He asked worriedly.

'Pain ho raha hai Shiva.' She spoke.

'Kaha? Pair dard kar rahe hai, ya body? Kaha ho raha hai bache?' He asked simultaneously examining her body.

Raavi took his hand and kept on her chest over her heart 'yaha ho raha hai Shiva'

'Ruk ice pack lata hu' he was about to get up when Raavi held his hand 'dil mein dard ho raha hai Shiva' Raavi told him.

'Dil mein? Are yaha bhi hota hai kya? Ruk main doctor ko call lagata hu' he spoke taking out his phone.

Raavi snatched the phone and spoke 'dard ho raha hai Shiva yeh dekhkar ki itne mahino baad bhi tujhe logo ki batein tang karti hai'

Shiva now got it, he tried to divert the topic but Raavi held his hands and spoke 'Shiva aaj baat kar mujhse. Ab or koi waqt nahi ayega.'

'Raavi aisa lagta hai na jaise main tujhe deserve nahi karta. Tu dekh kitni sundar hai kitni shant hai or main....' he left his sentence incomplete.

Raavi left his hand and cupped his cheek 'tu bahut handsome hai Shiva. Tu jaha se sundar hai na vaha se log aksar kale hote hai, dil sundar hai tera Shiva. Tujhe kya lagta hai tu mujhe deserve nahi karta kyuki main sundar hu bas?'

Sundarta fade ho jati hai Shiva par dil ki sundarta fade nahi hoti. Jitna dhyan tune in kuch mahino mein mera rakha hai na utna koi nahi rakh sakta tha.

In char divaro ne, maine or babies ne dekha hai asli Shiva ko, sirf humne. Duniya ko tu sirf gusse vala, untidy ladka lagta hai lekin maine dekha hai . Jo insan kisi ka gussa nahi bardasht kar sakta tha usne mera har nakhra saha hai, har demand sahi hai. Raat raat ko uth kar mere pair dabaye hai, khud chain se nahi sota taki main aram se sou, khud khana nahi khata magar mere liye sab kuch leke aata hai. Raat raat ko ice cream, maggi, bana bana ke tune hi khilayi hai Shiva, or toh or khana tak banana seekh lia tune mere chakkar mein taki raat ko kisi ko disturb na karna pade.

Jitna mujhe pain ya takleef hua hai na in mahino mein utna hi tujhe hua hai.

Ho sakta hai mujhe koi well dressed ladka mil jata par vo meri itni seva nahi karta, itna dhyan nahi rakhta.

Or Shiva yeh bache hamara hai isme tere bhi habits hongi, meri bhi, teri bhi buraiyan hongi meri bhi hongi. Or hum rok nahi sakte and honestly main rokna chahti bhi nahi hu Shiva.'

She spoke all this looking in his eyes, tears fell from her eyes. Raavi wiped them and asked him to come closer as she was not able to. Shiva came closer and Raavi cupped his cheek.

'Shiva duniya ne sari zindagi sunana hai, tu agar gentlemen ban jayega na tab bhi sunaenge toh isliye ab tujhe khud ko samjhna hoga, meri nazro se khud ko dekh. Tere Bhav badh jayenge tere agar tune meri nazar se khud ko dekh lia toh' she chuckled at the end, making him laugh.

'Shiva ab 2 zindagia or judne wali hai hamare sath, agar ladki hui toh vo tujhe apna hero manegi. Uski life mein sirf tu hi ek admi hoga jo perfect hoga toh isliye un bacho ka hero insecure nahi ho sakta life mein. or agar ladka hua toh vo toh tere jaisa hi banna chahega toh kya tu yeh chahta hai ki tere bache insecure bane? Hume unhe own karna hoga Shiva unki buraio ko bhi kyuki vo hamara ansh honge.

Or yeh jo duniya bolti hai ki Raavi ko deserve nahi karta tu, vohi duniya bolegi ki tere siva is Raavi ko koi nahi sambhal sakta tha Shiva. Dekh lio tu

Or ek baat bata tujhe kya lagta hai main chod dungi tujhe? Yahi insecurity hai? Sach kahu toh mujhe lagta hai kahi tu mujhe na chod de kyon ki maine tujhe koi vajah di hi nahi ki bhid mein bhi tu sirf mujhe dhunde. Lagta hai ki kahi babies hone ke baad tu mujhe bhul gaya toh? Vapis se mami ki behen ki beti manne laga toh?'

She shuddered thinking about that thought only, she can't go back to that angry Shiva-Raavi equation. She can't imagine her life without her Shiva besides her always.

'I know yeh rishta zabardasti se juda hai, i know yeh bache bhi family ki vajah se karne ki sochi thi par agar ab Shiva tune mujhe choda ya khud se alag kia toh main mar jaungi' she broke down. She too had her share of insecurities.

Pata hai Shiva yeh bacha maine sirf Suman maa ke liye nahi kia. Maine yeh mere liye kia kyuki tu mujhse alag hona chahta tha toh mujhe laga agar ek baby hoga life mein toh tu mujhe khud se alag nahi kar payega.'

Shiva was shocked hearing her confess the real reason, he thought only he had his insecurities but here his Raavi was broken thinking about her insecurities. He moved closer and hugged her, they both cried in each other's arms as if promising each other that this was their last time to cry and insecure.

'Tu pagal hai kya? Main tujhe nahi chodne vala Raavi kabhi bhi nahi. Babies ho jayenge tab bhi tu meri priority rahegi kyuki life partner toh tu hai na meri. Mujhe pata hota ki tu genuinely is rishte ko chance dena chahti hai toh main khud se dur karne ki baat karta hi nahi, mujhe laga tu mujhe majburi mein accept kar rahi hai, compromise kar rahi hai jo main nahi dekh sakta tha.

Par thank you Raavi babies ka decision lene ke liye kyuki agar tu yeh decision na leti toh shayad main tujhe apni bewakufio mein dur kar deta par ab nahi. Sahi kaha tune ab waqt aa gaya hai in insecurities ko khatam karne ka.

Or kya kaha tune? Tune mujhe reason nahi dia koi tujhe chunne ka? Maine toh bahut time se tujhe chun liya hai Raavi bas bata hi nahi paya. Bhid ho ya akeli meri pehli or akhri choice sirf tu hogi Raavi kyuki tune mujhe jo diya hai vo koi nahi de sakta. Tune mujhe accept kia hai vo bhi jaisa main hu vaisa, jaha ladkia dur bhagti hai mujhse waha tu ik lauti hai jo mere sath rehna chahti hai, mera taap sehne ki himat hai tujh mein. Or phir Somnath ki sabse sundar ladki meri biwi hai or kal mere bacho ki maa bhi hogi usko kaise chod dunga main? Kabhi nahi chodunga.'

He promised her. Raavi looked at him with teary eyes, Shiva wiped her tears 'ab bass. Yeh akhri bar tha jo hum dono ek dusre ko leke insecure hue hai. Aj ke baad Shiva Raavi ko koi alag nahi kar sakta'

Raavi pecked his lips and spoke 'kabhi nahi' and again hugged him.

'Vaise Shiva tu kya chahta hai beta ya beti?' Raavi asked when they both were fine.

'Dono beti chahiye mujhe toh. Meri koi behen bhi nahi thi toh main chahta hu 2 betia. Tujhe toh ek beta chahiye hoga na? Taki teri team mein rahe' Shiva asked after replying to her question.

'Kayde se ek beta toh hona chahiye par main bhi chahti hu ki dono beti ho taki main unhe unke papa ke sath jeeta hua dekh saku. Shiva tu janta hai ki mere mumma papa kitne chote hote chale gaye the toh vo feeling na kabhi aayi hi nahi. Par jab bhi tujhe dekhti hu na toh man karta hai ki betiyan ho or unhi mein main apna bachpan bhi pura jee lu. Pata lage ki kaisa hota hai baap beti ka pyar, main janti hu tu sabse best father banega' raavi told him happily still lying in his arms.

Shiva was emotional hearing that he held her tightly and placed a kiss on her forehead.

It was one month away from the delivery of Raavi. Dhara gave birth to a baby boy making everyone extremely happy.

Raavi was doing fine but she needed her Shiva as and when needed, except Shiva no one knew this thing.

'Shiva dusre sheher jana hai. Nahi gaye toh lakho ka nuksan ho jaega' gautam told him.

Shiva didn't mind going but he knew till then Raavi would panic so he spoke 'mujhe jane mein dikat nahi hai Gaumbi lekin Raavi. Use agar main nahi dikha raat mein toh vo bahut tang ho jayegi'

'Are sirf ek raat ki baat hai phir early morning toh tu aa hi jaega. Hum dhyan rakh lenge Raavi ka tension mat le.' Gautam spoke.

'Gaumbi aap samajh nahi rahe ho vo nahi reh paegi. Par yeh kam bhi zaruri hai.' Shiva spoke thinking about the situation.

'Tension mat le Shiva hum sab dhyan rakhenge uska. Tu toh janta hai tere alava vo kaam koi nahi kar paega varna main Dev ko bhej deta' Gautam reasoned.

'Ji. Chalo main abhi nikalta hu or adhi raat tak aa hi jaunga' Shiva spoke. Gautam nodded.

Shiva called Raavi on the phone, and Raavi picked up the phone. 'Ha bache mujhe zara kam se bahar jana hai main subah tak aa jaunga' he spoke, he knew she would not be happy about it and as expected she started whining 'kaha ja raha hai? Or kyu?'

'Beta bahut zaruri kaam hai agar koi aur ja pata toh chala jata.' Shiva tried to make her understand.

'Thik hai' she spoke half heartedly.

'Dhyan rakhio please apna. Or kisi ko zada mat tang kario bas kuch ghanto ki baat hai' he told her.

She hummed and disconnected the call.

As it dawned Krish and Rishita were after Raavi, Shiva instructed them to be with her and divert her mind. So, to do that they started watching a movie. They watched a movie with a pet to avoid any sad scenes and it had a happy ending. Raavi started crying because of the pet.

Krish tried to pacify her but all in vain so he brought some ice cream for her which Shiva asked to keep in the fridge beforehand but that didn't help.

Gaumbi too came to help Krish and Rishita but nothing worked as Raavi was feeling very uneasy, she was in a cranky mood. She behaved like a kid crying and not telling the reason.

'Raavi dard ho raha hai kahi?' Dhara spoke as she entered.

Raavi spoke to her 'Shiva ko bula do na. Vo kab ayega? Usne kaha tha jaldi ayega'

'Ha Raavi usko call kia tha thoda time lagega' Dhara tried to calm her down but she was getting worse as the clock ticked.

'Yaar yeh Shiva kaise sambhalta hai ise. Himat hai uski' Krish mumbled and soon got a deathly glare from Dhara and Gaumbi.

Gaumi whispered to Dhara 'Shiva ne kaha bhi tha ki Raavi tang hogi par mujhe laga overprotective ho raha hai toh maine kaha ki dhyan rakh lenge par yeh toh sach mein bahut tang ho rahi hai'

'Koi baat nahi Gaumbi. Pain ho raha hoga shayad ya ghutan ho rahi hogi' Dhara spoke.

They tried to put her to bed, but nothing worked. She just wanted to see her Shiva.

Everyone was shocked to see this spoiled side of Raavi, they all thought that she was the saint of all but today their belief was broken.

They were exhausted taking care of Raavi and appreciated Shiva for taking good care of her.

Because they never saw Raavi like this, maybe she only showed this side to Shiva.

She started crushing the bed sheets and started throwing the things kept on the side table.

'Raavi shant hoja tabiyat kharab ho jaegi' Dhara spoke worriedly.

'Shiva' she screamed his name.

'Ha beta aa gaya' they heard him and were shocked to hear Beta.

He entered and sat by her side wrapping his arm around her shoulder.

Raavi literally stopped crying and kept quiet, she just snuggled into his warmth and inhaled his shirt, his smell which soothed her.

Everyone was shocked to see them, Shiva literally tamed her.

She again started sobbing 'kaha gaya tha mujhe chod ke?'

'Sorry mere bache. Aa gaya ab bas shant hoja. Khana khaya?' He asked as if talking to a baby.

'Ha Krish Rishita ne khilaya tha' she spoke.

'Good' he spoke, still caressing her hair.

'Bhai yeh aafat kaise sambhalta hai tu?' Krish chuckled.

Shiva gave him a deathly glare and Krish spoke 'mazak tha bhai.'

'Par seriously Shiva aaj samajh aya ki Somnath ne tumhari shadi kyu karvai kyuki tujhse better ise koi nahi sambhal sakta. Raavi totally deserves you. Khush raho' Dhara spoke.

Raavi smiled and snuggled more into his warmth.

'Sorry bhai mujhe nahi pata tha Raavi itna tang hogi' Gaumbi spoke.

'Koi baat nahi ab aa gaya hu na main or kaam bhi ho gaya.' Shiva spoke not leaving her.

'Khana khaya tune?' Raavi spoke, finally breaking the hug.

'Khaya hai' he lied.

'Jhuth bol raha hai na? Main leke ati hu' she spoke.

'Tumhe kaise pata jhuth bol raha hai?' Rishita asked.

'Janti hu main ise, isne sab kaam jaldi kia hoga aur phir bina khana khaye vaha se nikal gaya hoga.' Raavi told him trying to get up only to be stopped by Shiva.

'Acha meri maa main lata hu khud tu baithi reh' Shiva spoke.'

Rishita spoke 'dono baitho main lati hu khana tumhare liye Shiva' Both nodded.

She brought food and Raavi fed him food.

And then Raavi thinks what she gives in this relationship, she never fails to take care of him. Never.

Everyone leaves the couple alone, giving them privacy.

'Itna kyu roi tu?' He almost scolds her.

'Toh? Aise kon jata hai chod ke apni wife ko?' She spoke sniffling.

'Kaam tha na.' He spoke, caressing her head. She just hummed and hugged him tightly.

Days went by and as the day of delivery was nearing everyone got more cautious. Shiva took extra care of her.

He used to take her for walks in the parks to keep her and baby healthy.

Finally the day arrived when Raavi felt extreme pain and she was taken to hospital.

After hours of pushing and bearing the pain finally the babies arrived.

'Mubarak ho betia hui hai dono' doctor broke the news to Shiva and family.

Everyone was very very happy. After so many boys, daughters were born in Pandya Niwas, Shiva was on cloud nine. He hugged his mom, bhabhi bhai and cried happy tears.

Shiva went to Raavi who was exhausted but happy.

'I love you Raavi. I love you' he spoke as he entered.

Raavi's tiredness was half hearing that confession, they knew they loved each other but never confessed it but today was the luckiest day.

'I love you too Shiva. Or thankyou yeh paria dene ke liye.' Raavi spoke as he kissed her forehead.

'Thanks to you Raavi.' He said. Doctor brought the babies and both held one.

They named the elder one 'Shivi'

'Kya nam socha choti ka?' Raavi asked.

'Raashi' Shiva spoke, kissing the babies ever so lightly.

They both had happy tears flowing down their eyes.

Soon the family members too came and congratulated the couple.

Prafulla was emotional to see her baby giving birth to babies.

Everyone was happy at that moment.
