so I was looking through a list of 'the scariest type of fish' (don't ask me why) and this was on there

it's a Barreleye

so apparently is was on that list because, and i quote,

"This deep sea fish is transparent and has the ability to move its eyes all the way around to view what's going on behind it. Yet another deep sea fish, the Barreleye shares a commonality with many of the other sea creatures on this list in that it simply engulfs its prey fully."

so those green round things are his eyes

like, what?? that's not scary??

Honestly I can't be the only one who would sleep next to a stuffed animal of this fish. It's so freaking awesome!
