Shiro x Mickey

Mickey struts down the sidewalk, tail swaying from side to side. His smile no longer drawn on.

He has it all, he is THE mouse, except... Minnie left him, she was fucking goofy and now there's nothing he can do except pout.

shiro sat with his head in his hands. tears pooled into his eyes. he felt himself shake: how was adam gone? it seems like yesterday he had just proposed to his now dead fiancé. the sound of thicc soles slapping on the cold floor made him look up "mickey?" he asked

"Oh..." Mickey said sadly. "Hiya pal." Mickey certainly wasn't himself.

"Aw shucks. What's wrong?" He asked with concern.

"this war against universal has just... tore me apart," he chuckled at his own pun, staring at the nub where his arm should be. "but are you okay? you honestly look you've seen a ghost?" shiro asked, concern laced in his voice. he had always found the charming mouse attractive, but something about his teary eyes just made him feel something... more.

The mouse sighed deeply. "Well... Minnie left me for goofy. I feel like there's no point to living anymore." His eyes began to water and his voice quivered.

shiro placed an arm on mickey's skinny shoulder. he looked into those ebony eyes and felt himself getting lost into them. "there's always something to live for, what about pluto, or even me?" he questioned, a small strand of hope in his voice. him and mickey had been close ever since the war started, maybe this could drive him out of this suicidal state.

A small smile formed on Mickey's face. "Thanks pal." He said softly, more genuine. "How about you and I head over to the Cafe down the street?"

a small smile graced shiro's face "id love that." he walked down the corridor with mickey, his dummy thicc ass cheeks clapping along the way

Mickey just loved the sound.
Clap. Clap. Clap.
"Gee Shiro, I sure missed ya."

shiro stepped outside with mickey. he held his hand over his eyes to protect them from the beaming sun. "i missed you to mickey" he offered a genuine smile. it had been a month since he last seen him, and it had honestly felt like an eternity.

They both sat down at a table by the window that seated two people. Sun softly glossing the table. The two then realized in the time they hadn't seen eachother they hadn't been to this Cafe, and it had in fact been turned into a maid cafe.

"Konichiwaaaaa!" The legal loli said looking over at the two. "What can I help you with today?" Her smile was brighter than the sun outside, it nearly blinded them both.

shiro grimaced and thought about putting on some sunglasses. "can i just have a water?" he asked. the loli beamed, writing it down on pink paper. he could feel mickey's scalding gaze on him, but he didn't dare look over. "and you?" she asked mickey

Mickey looked a little to the side of the loli, more towards the direction of Shiro. "I'll have a strawberry milkshake!" He said with a laugh. The loli nodded and galloped away like a horse girl.

"Just a water shiro?" He asked curiously with his gloves tapping the table."

"yeah iverson wants me to try a new diet," he groaned, tempted to roll his eyes at the tan, angry man. "what have you been up to since everything went down," shiro asked, bouncing his leg aimlessly.

"Well I returned home but... Minnie was having affairs with goofy... So I left. I'm never going to go back! Not ever!" Mickey said with confidence. "I'll find someone new! Someone better, way more-" He paused and looked at the buff man before him. "Manly." His voice deepened as he said the final word.

shiro raised his eyebrows, hope washing over him. who was he kidding? mickey would never want to be with him, no matter how much of a beef cake he was. "do you have anyone in mind?" he asked absentmindedly, hoping he wasn't too obvious.

Mickey sighed dreamily. "Aw shucks..." The mouse's face flushed. "Yeah I do."

The maid came back with their drinks and placed each in front of the two. "Anything else I can get you two?" She asked with a smile still plastered on.

"Can I get an extra straw?" Mickey asked with a grin.

"Of course!" She pulled one out of her apron and handed it to the mouse. That maid was called over by another so she galloped off once more.

Mickey placed the two straws in his drink. "It will be a cheat day." He said pushing the strawberry milkshake inbetween the two of them.

shiro blushed and sipped lightly from the straw. he couldn't help but feel jealous; of course mickey already had someone in mind. he glanced down at mickeys gloved hand. he could almost reach out and hold it, if he really wanted to. he mentally cursed himself, he clearly was on his way to getting a boyfriend and shiro would never stand in the way of his happiness.

Mickey sipped from his straw and then looked up at shiro. "How about you pal? Are you looking for a special someone to fill the hole in your heart?"

shiro thought about his answer carefully. if he just told mickey he liked him, it would be getting this odd feeling off his chest but could ruin their friendship. if not, their friendship wouldn't be tarnished at all but he would be stuck with... whatever this was. he knew the choice he had to make. "i guess i'm looking for someone, just haven't stumbled upon the right guy yet," he lied through his teeth, hoping mickey wouldn't detect it.

Mickey frowned for a moment before slapping on a fake smile. "Oh- Gee- I hope you find someone." He said sipping on the straw again.

shiro noticed the seemingly plastered smile on his face. it looked... forced. but it was mickey for fucks sake, he was generally happy. "do i know this..." he swallowed, forcing the rest of the sentence out, "dream guy by any chance?"

"Well... Yeah. I'd say you know him well." Mickey said smiling a little softer now.

shiro took a sip of his drink, hoping to disguise his anger. he wanted to scream, this wasn't fair. mickey was probably going to date someone like keith and he'd have to see that. every. damn. day. "oh haha, i hope he's a good match for you."

"Shiro..." The mouse said quietly.

shiro looked up, not daring to meet his eyes. a blush fanned over his pale cheeks. "yes mickey?" he spoke meekly.

"If you could date anyone in this room, who would it be?" He asked glancing around nervously.

shiro inspected the cafe quickly. there wasn't a ton of people, but he didn't need to look around to know the answer. he didn't care anymore, the feeling on his chest only grew heavier. it made him feel dizzy, so he just quietly mumbled, "you."

Mickey perked up and looked at shiro, face heating up. "R-Really?" He asked, the mouse looked suprised.

"why wouldn't i want to date you? you're attractive, charming funny... i haven't met anyone like you since..." shiro cleared his throat, dropping off the 'adam' that was heavily implied. "anyways, you're a really great guy mickey" he gave a soft smile.

Mickey's face turned red. "How could I be so lucky?" He mumbled. "Shiro I like you a lot. You've always been there for me."

shiro reached out for mickeys gloved hand, intertwining his bony fingers with mickey's thicc ones. "i really like you to mickey, you have no clue how long i've been waiting to do this." he dropped his gaze to mickey's lips.

Mickey smiled. "Me too Shiro." Mickey leaned in halfway.

shiro closed the gap, using his free hand to rest around mickey's neck. fireworks went boom boom off in his head, he never wanted this moment to end

suddenly, shiro was ripped apart from mickey. he fought when suddenly he heard a male voice speaking, "this is the police, we are here to arrest you for beastiality. everything you say, can or do will be used against you in the court of law." they handcuffed shiro, opening the shop doors. "shiro!" mickey screamed, lunging for him but he felt something tight around his neck. he turned around to see a pudgy woman in khaki. she lead him to a vehicle with big bold letters that said "animal control". he screamed as she threw him into the back of the truck. he was surrounded with dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes. then all he saw was dark.
